Exchange/Outlook Public Folders

• Overview– Access Via CareGroup Outlook Account.– Click “Folder List”/”Public Folders”/”All Public Folders”

• Pro:– Password Protected– Access Groups (Read Only, Edit, Create, etc)– After I.T. Creation – Owner Can Mange Content & Access– Data “Types” Templates (Messages, Calendars, Mailing Lists, etc)– On Campus and Remote Access Available– Many Software Packages Available Online (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)– Easy integration with Email

• Caveats:– “ITS” username/password required. (and regular use fo the account)– Outlook Email Account required.

• Caveats:– If Password Option is used for Off Campus Access - “ITS” username/password
