Amma Vodi Scheme

KCR Kit

The mother upon delivery is provided with a KCR Kit consisting of 16 items items necessary to keep newborn babies (neonates) warm and hygienic.

An exclusive, 102 call number is used for this service.

For pregnant woman across the state. Under the scheme, a pregnant woman can use free 102 service van to visit the hospital and dropped off at no cost.

Financial assistance Edit

The mother will also be provided with financial assistance of ₹12,000 (₹13,000 for a girl child) to compensate for the loss of work by the women during the pregnancy and post natal period

S SUGGESTIONS REGARDING

HEALTH FACILITIES IN

VILLAGE

• Suggestions: • Beds in PHC,

• The nurse has to caters to the need of multiple villages

• No delivery facility is available for pregnant lady. They have to travel to district Adilabad for delivery.(RIMS)

• Only preliminary health medicines and treatments are available in PHC.

• Skilled Medical Staff shortage

Observations under Gram Swaraj Abhiyan

• PM Jan Dhan yojna :– From the sample survey of 80 households, 35 people opened their account under PMJDY. Most people were having an account in a bank but not under this scheme.

• PM Ujjwala yojna :- We found that 95% of households had a gas connection but under the Telangana Govt scheme Deepam Pathakam. People had no idea about this scheme.

• PM SAHAJ Bijli Har Ghar Yojna/ Saubhagya Yojna :– 100 percent electrification in the village. No power cut.

• PM Ujala Yojna :– We observed that only a few houses are using LED bulbs but that too by purchasing them at their MRP. People are not aware about this scheme. There was not any LED distribution centre nearby that could provide LEDs at a cheap rate under this scheme.

• PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna :– We found that approx. 20 percent people are insured under this scheme. Not much awareness among people.

• PM Suraksha Bima yojna :– Only about 24 percent people are insured under this scheme. There has not been any awareness program conducted about this scheme in the village.

State Government Schemes

• RYTHU Bandhu :- Under this scheme, Rs.4000 per acre per season are provided to support the farm investment, twice a year, for rabi and kharif seasons.

• Kalyan Laxmi – It is a scheme for providing a financial assistance of Rs. 1,00,116 for marriages by the Government of Telangana. We found that 15 people have been a beneficiary of this scheme.

• Aasra Pension - It is a welfare scheme of pensions to old people, widows, Goud community, Elephantiasis patients, AIDS affected people and physically disabled people.

• Aahar Bhadrata – Under this scheme, 6Kg rice per member at the price of Rs. 1/Kg is being provided.

• Mission Bhagiratha :- It’s a project of Telangana government to provide each village household the facility of safe drinking water. Under this project, in our village, 1 overhead tank is being contructed and 1 has already completed but not started.

• Drinking and irrigation water supply to village

• LED manufacturing training though provided lacks ground level implementation

• Focus on dairy cultivation and mixed crop farming

• At least transport facility should be provided to pregnant women for regular Check UPS AND DELIVERY

• Peripheral boundary & Girls toilet facilities are must in the school

• 5S implementation in village institutions
