This three-day intensive workshop will introduce you to the elements of a good sustainability report using the GRI’s five step process: prepare, connect, define, monitor and report and prepare you to coordinate the sustainability repor�ng process. The GRI Standards Cer�fied Training Program empowers par�cipants to begin or improve their sustainability repor�ng using the world’s leading sustainability repor�ng Standards.

ABOUT THE GLOBAL REPORTING INITIATIVE (GRI)

The Global Repor�ng Ini�a�ve (GRI) is a non-governmental organiza�on that develops and disseminates globally Accepted Sustainability Repor�ng Standards. The GRI started in 1997 as an ini�a�ve of the United Na�ons Environment Program and became independent in 2002. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the GRI is an official collabora�ng centre of the United Na�ons Environment Program (UNEP) and works in coopera�on with the UN Global Compact. The GRI develops the sustainability repor�ng standards guidelines through a mul�-stakeholder process that incorporates the ac�ve par�cipa�on of business, accountancy, investment, environmental, human rights, research and labor organiza�ons from around the world.

Par�cipants will receive an interna�onally recognized cer�ficate directly from the Global Repor�ng Ini�a�ve (GRI) a�er successful comple�on of the training course.

This training will provide GRI Standards.

In addi�on, par�cipants are eligible to receive a Cer�fied Sustainability Repor�ng Specialist (CSRS) from Ins�tute of Cer�fied Sustainability Prac��oners (ICSP) a�er successful passing ICSP online examina�on and submit the assignment.

CSRS is a professional cer�fica�on in sustainability repor�ng and sustainabilitymanagement, we have around 1,700 graduates since late 2007 in Indonesia, Malaysia,Singapore and the Philippines.

Only CSRS graduates are eligible for the Cer�fied Sustainability Repor�ng Assuror (CSRA) training which objec�ve is to provide assurance on sustainability report and prac�ces based on the AA1000 standards.

Profile SynopsisAndrew Twohig is a prac�cing sustainability consultant for business and government permanently based in Indonesia. Also a writer and disclosure consultant on governance, finance, risk and sustainability, he is Chief Execu�ve of the Ins�tute for Cer�fied Sustainability Prac��oners. In his long affilia�on with the Na�onal Center for Sustainability Repor�ng, he has helped to deliver CSRS and CSRA courses inside and outside Indonesia.Andrew holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Philosophy from Brock University, Canada, an Honors Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) both from Dalhousie University, Canada.

He started his professional career in 1981 in the Oil & Gas Industry where he designed, constructed and installed offshore pla�orms and pipelines. Besides that, Marcel has extensive experience in other industries such as IT, Telecom and Logis�cs. His strengths lie in drawing & document management, project management, competency assessments, performance management and balanced scorecards.
