unauthorised discharges.

On commissioning of the proposed UV treatment plant, include detail on how it is controlled, and operated.

Mostly influent testing and sludge level in ponds.

4.1.1 Inflow Monitoring

Regular checking of the flow meter and data, calibration scheduling and procedures.

4.1.2 Influent Monitoring

When and where to test, type of sample (grab, composite), what to do with the sample. Parameters to be analysed.

A method for ascertaining the climate conditions.

4.2 Effluent Discharge monitoring

4.2.1 Outlet Flow Monitoring

Regular checking of the flow meter and data, calibration scheduling and procedures, conversion to data into daily

volumes for compliance reporting purposes and frequency of data review.

4.2.2 Quality Monitoring

Monitoring effluent quality from the UV disinfection unit as per the schedule in the consent. Procedures for collecting

samples assuming the operators will be undertaking this sampling, parameters to be monitored and frequency to be

monitored. Procedure for documenting results.

4.3 Site Inspection

Include a schedule of regular and irregular site inspection requirements for the river discharge and land treatment

components.

Reference to procedures set out in the Odour Management Plan for regular site walkover procedures and responding

including odour complaints and complaints regarding the effluent discharge. Procedures for recording of and

responding to complaints

This section will reference a separate Environmental Monitoring Programme that will provide details on the following:
