What a great day to be able to come to worship God. I’ve been looking forward to the singing all week – as well as the opportunity to pray together and participate in the communion. I’ve also been reading more about the wisdom of God, which is our focus this month in our sermons. I hope you have been doing the same – and been as impressed as I am with both the practical application of the scrip- tures to everyday life - as well as the inspiration of God’s word to our overall focus for the future. We serve a great God! Tonight, we will have a ‘pulpit swap,’ where Harold Redd will come to speak at Germantown while I speak at Midtown. We are preparing for the area-wide service on Sunday, March 1, so this will be a good time for us to be reminded of the quality of our joint effort and the need for all the churches in Memphis to recognize our connection in a common effort. I trust that you will make a special effort to come worship this evening – to praise God and encourage others. You will doubtlessly be encouraged as well. Let’s continue to build the congregation at Germantown in peace, unity and strength. Greetings! What a great day to be able to come to worship God. I’ve been looking forward to the singing

all week – as well as the opportunity to pray together and participate in the communion. I’ve also been

reading more about the wisdom of God, which is our focus this month in our sermons. I hope you have

been doing the same – and been as impressed as I am with both the practical application of the scrip-

tures to everyday life - as well as the inspiration of God’s word to our overall focus for the future. We

serve a great God!

Tonight, we will have a ‘pulpit swap,’ where Harold Redd will come to speak at Germantown while I

speak at Midtown. We are preparing for the area-wide service on Sunday, March 1, so this will be a

good time for us to be reminded of the quality of our joint effort and the need for all the churches in

Memphis to recognize our connection in a common effort. I trust that you will make a special effort to

come worship this evening – to praise God and encourage others. You will doubtlessly be encouraged as

well.

Let’s continue to build the congregation at Germantown in peace, unity and strength.

THANK YOU

Dear Church Family,

Thank you for the many prayers, cards, calls, and food following

my recent surgery and recovery. All were very much appreciated.

It is a blessing to be part of this family at the Germantown congre-

gation.

In Him,

Dear Church Family,

We are so thankful for the beautiful flowers we received at Dorothy

Tomlinson’s funeral. The pink gladiolus matched her pink roses

beautifully. Thank you for the many cards you sent to mom and the

prayers offered on her behalf. We love our church family more

than we can say.

Glyn Sain, David Sain, Michelle Sain
