Greetings My Brothers!Welcome to the 2021 Virtual Georgia State Conference. We have made the effort to bring a well- rounded and interactive conference to the Brotherhood in the face of this pandemic. Chapters continued to work and provide excellent programming in the areas of Brotherhood, Scholarship, Service, and Sigma Beta Clubs. We are looking forward to awarding those chapters for their excellent work. Even in a virtual platform we have Sigma business to handle “In the Name of Brotherhood”. On behalf of the Georgia Executive Board, I say thank you for your registration and attendance. Although we are not face to face, the Brotherhood experience can still be felt through your positive energy and participation.

Last year we lost a giant of a man, servant, and Brother, in the likes of Honorable Bro. John Robert Lewis, who stated, “Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. NEVER, ever be afraid to make some noise and get into good trouble, necessary trouble.” We recognize and understand Bro. Lewis’ work and we will continue to dedicate our efforts to providing a Culture for Service and Service for Humanity. Hence, our theme for this year’s Virtual Conference- Good Trouble Continued.

We have accomplished a great deal in 2020 “For the Love of Brotherhood.” There are over 300 Georgia Sigma Tags on the roads. We are finalizing our 501c3 status for the State of Georgia. Our State Constitution and Bylaws will be updated after over 12 years. We have a new Georgia Sigma Pin. We were able to host an impactful and productive Virtual Brotherhood Development Day. We were on the frontlines with Voter initiatives with our Blue Boots on the Ground. We have impacted our local communities with doing what we do best as Sigma Men, Service. Our Brotherhood numbers have increased with new members and reactivations and reclamations. We still remain the second largest state in the Fraternity. We have exemplified here in Georgia that we are a Brotherhood of Conscious Men Actively Serving Our Communities. We are not done. We will continue to Focus on the Advancement of the Brotherhood; Good Trouble Continued.

For the Love of Brotherhood, In the Name of Brotherhood.
