The 2015 holiday season is here and
Downtown Greenville is ready for Santa Claus
to come to town! Jolly Old Saint Nick will make his first appear-
ance at The Santa Park Party sponsored by Chemical Bank, 4-5:30pm in Lafayette Park.
Children will be able to visit with Santa and tell
him their wish lists (bring your camera), and
enjoy games, activities, face painting and re-
freshments. Santa will do the honor of light-
ing the Christmas Tree at 5:45pm. Beginning at 6:00pm, gather along Lafayette
Street in beautiful Historic Downtown Green-
ville to celebrate a Hometown Christmas Pa-
rade sponsored by Isabelle Bank. The parade
features the GHS Marching Band, characters,
community groups, dignitaries, antique cars
and much more!

BC Pizza will be ful-
filling a local family
wish list this holiday
season. This is the
second year BC Pizza
will be giving back to
the community with
their “Fulfill the List”
campaign. Patrons are able to make a donation and
their name will be displayed with a paper pizza on the walls at BC during the holiday season. When a local family is chosen, they are contacted and asked for their wish list and the gifts are
purchased from that list. No donation is too small; no purchase is required. Donations can be dropped at the store,
which is located at 701 S. Greenville West Drive, or mailed directly.

Each year Greenville Middle School 8th-graders are given the
chance to imagine themselves as adults for a day-it’s always a
“Reality” check for most! The annual event-Reality Store ,
allows students to choose their education and career path
and subsequently make adult financial and life decisions. De-
pending on their chosen career, students will have to adjust
lifestyles based on their budgets and predict their financial
standings based on their profile. The Reality Store is "staffed" by over 30 area business rep-
resentatives, agencies and community volunteers who "sell"
their services to
the students.
A special thank
you to all of the volunteers and the many busi-
nesses that allowed their employees to partici-
pate in this important event.

Chamber 101 -The Key to getting the most out of your membership
Wednesday, December 2nd, 8:30am – 9:30am Chamber 101 is a complimentary new member “welcome” that provides information on access-
ing the Chamber's services, programs and support. New members will meet the Chamber staff
who will help guide them and maximize their business' success. Whether you have recently joined the Chamber, or you have been a lifelong member, we want to ensure you are getting the most out of your membership. We will review all of the tools you
need to know to better understand the many opportunities that the Chamber provides for your
business and how to best position yourself to engage with the business community and grow
your business. Want to engage other key members of your staff? Sign them up! Have new employees who are
not familiar with the Chamber? Bring them too! Interested in us visiting your business? We can
do that too! Join us the first Wednesday of each quarter from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Chamber Board Room
for an opportunity to learn about your Chamber’s agenda and program of work. Meet the staff,
learn about volunteer and committee work, and how to engage with the business community.
Leisure Living Breaks Ground in Greenville, Michigan Leisure Living Management, a Grand Rapids-based sen-
ior lifestyle services company, broke ground on Octo-
ber 13th for Hathaway Hills Assisted Living and
Memory Care, at 1515 Meijer Drive in Green-
ville. Hathaway Hills is the 23nd high quality senior
community managed built by the company. Hathaway
Hills is expected to open its doors to Greenville area
seniors by Fall, 2016, with 20 independent/assisted living
and 14 memory care apartments.
Construction completed on E. Washington EZ Mart
The Greenville Chamber and mem-
bers of the business community
celebrated the reopening of the
newly constructed EZ Mart. The
gas station, located at 115 E. Wash-
ington was closed during the sum-
mer to allow for demolition and
construction. The ribbon cutting
was held on Thursday, November
5th with a tour of the new building
and samples of food prepared from
the new deli located inside the new
EZ Mart.

Flat River Medical is a
nurse assistant training
program (NATP) mod-
eled by the State of Mich-
igan guidelines. This 75
hour program features an
in-depth lecture, hands-on laboratory practice, and a final practicum which will take place
in the nursing home setting. Conveniently located at 202 S. Lafayette Street, this program
will be offered monthly with varying class hours to meet each person's unique needs. For

purchased from that list. No donation is too small; no purchase is required. Donations can be dropped at the store,
which is located at 701 S. Greenville West Drive, or mailed directly.
