PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

Welcome back to term 3.

What a great way to start the term with students celebrating the past 100 days of learning. Many of our students were unrecognisable today as they came dressed as a 100yr old. I am very glad to see that no one came dressed as me.

100 days of learning is a significant milestone on a school calendar as it marks the half way point in the school year. It is important for students to remem-ber that even though they have achieved a great deal in the past 100 days, there is still another 100 days of learning to go.

At the end of last term, student half yearly reports went home giving families an update on how learn-ing for the past two terms has gone for students. If you would like to meet with teachers regarding these reports please contact the school office for this to occur.

Also with the report was a feedback survey about our reporting format. Please complete and return these so we can reflect on your feedback and make necessary changes for term 4 reports.

Term three is always very full of activities for students and families alike. Please save the date for Monday 6th August to come to school for Education Week Open Day.

The day will start with a whole school assembly pre-sented by 5M and 2C. This will then be followed by open classrooms where you will be able to visit your child’s room whilst they are in class. This will be an opportunity to see their classroom and all the work they have been doing for the past 6 months.

Parents/carers will also be able to spend lunch with their children from 10.55am.

We hope you are able to put some time aside for this important day on the school calendar.
