2 Forms of education1. Sparta (Military Education)

Who is Sparta? Sparta is the patroness of art before it went to series of wars.

Spartan boys were raised for military purpose.

STATE The state is the dominant educational agency. It controls all family life including the right of the born child.

2. Athens(Liberal Education)The ideal of education was the aesthetic, a harmonious physical, intellectual and moral training.

Elementary School (Academic Institution)-grammar, arts, arithmetic and music. Music is very important to them since it has a wider meaning for them. Music includes literary and moral instruction for them.
