Christer Viberg studied mechanical engineering andstarted his career at BAE system, where he workedon military vehicle’s Bv 206 assembly line beingresponsible for final inspection and test-drive priorcustomer delivery. He started working forMacGregor in 1995, attending our workshop’sassembly line in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. His workincluded all kind of assembling, electrical, hydraulicand mechanical installations. Furthermore, his scopeof work included the final inspection prior customerdelivery, during which mechanical, hydraulic andelectrical tests were conducted. Through hisposition, he got actively involved in assembling,installing and testing fully rigged cranes onboardvessels. Athena Kanellatou studied Business Managementand specialized in Economics, followed byControlling and Internal Auditing, as well as Salesand Accounts Management. Tsavliris Salvage Group celebrates 100 years from the birth of thefounding father, Alexander G. Tsavliris; 75 years from the commencementof the first Tsavliris shipping company and 50 years from the foundationof Tsavliris Salvage in 1964.

Mr. George A. Tsavliriswas born in London. Hegraduated from AthensCollege in 1968 andhaving acquiredprofessionalqualifications in Shipping(F.I.C.S., ACI.Arb), heconcluded his graduateand post graduate studiesin Shipping Law at University College Londonin 1973, with an L.L.M. degree. In 2009 he wasqualified as a Mediator at the ADR GroupLondon and in 2014 was certified as aMediator by the Greek Ministry of Justice,Transparency and Human Rights. Hefamiliarized himself with the shipping andsalvage sectors from a very early age by beingengaged in the family business. George is aPrincipal at “Tsavliris Salvage Group” andrepresents the business on both a commercialand environmental basis internationally.
