Outstanding CPD starting March 2015 This is a new bespoke primary school physical education qualification for primary school teachers

and higher teaching and learning assistants developed by the Association for Physical Education

(AfPE) and Sports Leaders UK. For the first time this is now available through GreaterSport and

School Sport Partnerships in Salford.

Deliver high quality Physical Education This is a recognised qualification to improve the overall delivery of the physical education

curriculum within primary schools. The aim of this qualification is to upskill primary school

teachers and higher teaching and learning assistants to enable them to lead the delivery of the

primary school physical education curriculum. On successful completion of this qualification,

delegates will be able to undertake subject leadership within primary school physical education

teaching and deliver sustainable high quality primary school physical education.
