Day 1 - Arrive in Frankfurt

Day 2 - Frankfurt - Leipzig

Visit Wartburg Castle in Eisenach where Luther lived for many years. Continue via Weimar to

Leipzigand visit one of Germany’s largest Christmas markets.Day 3 - Leipzig – Dresden

Continue to Meissen and visit one of Germany’s oldest porcelain factories. These delicate, always handcrafted products are found in royal courts and celebrities’ homes all around the world. Continue to Dresden. Upon arrival enjoy a city tour and evening visit of the Christmas market.

Day 4 - Dresden – Plauen

Visit two ancient mining villages, Schneeberg and Annaberg, the home of the German tradition of woodcarving and Christmas pyramids. The Christmas market in Annaberg dates back as far as 1510.

Day 5 - Plauen – Frankfurt

Travel through the Franconian forest to the imperial city of Bamberg, founded in the 9th century, whose old-town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Shop at Bamberg Christmas market before returning to Frankfurt.
