The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival, Inc. will be celebrating its 12th Annual Heritage Golf Classic in the spring on Saturday, April

28, at the Eagles Golf Club in Odessa, Florida. We invite you to come tee it up and join in the fun!!! One of the goals of this event is to promote social harmony and create excellent networking opportunities for people of all cultures.

By supporting the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Golf Classic, you, your company, or your organization will be joining us in the opportunity to pay it forward. This year, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s tournament will be donated to the URLinked Charities “I AM ME MOVEMENT” which provides

an opportunity for SUICIDAL youth to learn how to embrace the transitions of life through Character Building Sessions and activities. The focus is on the challenges youth may face daily including but not limited to self-esteem, self-identity and self-worth. URLinked is also a program vendor for Hillsborough County schools.

The 12th Annual Heritage Golf Classic is part of a much broader effort, The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival. This Festival is an annual 10-day celebration of cultural events that features national and local speakers, musicians, artists, art and historical exhibits as well as vendors coming from all parts of the country. The festival events begin next year the weekend before the national holiday remembering the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., January 11, 2019, and extend to the weekend afterwards. The Festival celebrates and seeks to showcase many of the contributions to the History, Art and Culture of Americana which emanate from the African-American and African diaspora.
