Discover a late 18th centuary house, set in enchanting landscaped gardens.

Still a private residence and family home to Lord Faringdon. The house

offers a wonderful collection of pictures, furniture and ceramics. The pleasure gardens are extensive and with many

original features.


An imposing Tudor manor set in beautiful gardens with a collection of Catholic

treasures. The Tribune houses a chemise reputedly worn by Mary Queen of Scots at her execution, visit the Tower Room

where you can see the double priest hole and all manner of items relating to the Gunpowder plot throughout the house.

Swanage beach is of course one of the main attractions of the town and backed by a promenade lined with

amusements. The pier is an integral part of the character of Swanage,

reflecting its Victorian splendour and rich heritage. Did you know that local

quarried stone helped in the rebuilding after the Great fire of London?

Once Britain’s best kept secret, today it is a heritage site and vibrant tourist

attraction. Visitors can explore some of the iconic WW2 Codebreaking Huts and

Blocks and marvel at the astonishing achievements of the Codebreakers.

St Fagans National Museum 5th August 2020

Croeso! - Welcome to St Fagans National Museum of History. This

museum has been the most popular heritage attraction in Wales for many

years. Here, we explore history through everyday lives. Since 1948 over forty

original buildings have been re-erected in the 100 acre parkland. Among them are houses, a farm, a school, a chapel and a

splendid workemen’s institute.


Breamore House & Countryside Museum

The magnificent Elizabethen Manor House overlooks Avon Valley on the edge

of the New Forest. The house was completed in 1583 and has changed little in 400 years. Unusually Breamore also

has a Countryside Museum where visitors can enjoy full size replicas of a black-smith, village shop, school and dairy.

Our first stop is the beautiful market town of Hungerford, where you will

have time for lunch and to explore. In the afternoon you will experience a 2

hour river cruise starting from Kintbury on the Kennet and Avon Canal. This is a unique opportunity as we will be

travelling on a specialist Horse Drawn Barge to relax and unwind through the

Berkshire countryside.

The incredible Chinese Lantern Festival returns to Longleat this winter. Europe’s largest ever display of lanterns will once again transform Longleat into a glowing
