DESCRIPTION
Sermon based on Gal 6. We reap what we sow, and that can be a very good thing!TRANSCRIPT
“Am I taking responsibility for my
life…really?”
Galatians 6:7 (ESV) 7 Do not be deceived: God is not
mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
Galatians 6:8 (NLT) 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay
and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
What Game are you Playing?
Which Ladder are you Climbing?
Which Animal are you Feeding?
Galatians 6:3–4 (ESV) 3 For if anyone thinks he is something,
when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and
then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.
Galatians 6:9–10 (NLT) 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is
good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to
everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.
Luke 18:28–30 (NLT) 28 Peter said, “We’ve left our homes to
follow you.” 29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, 30 will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the
world to come.”
