Responsible for marketing initiatives and campaigns, I developed, designed, implemented and assessed multi-media campaigns for Northern College’s four campus locations. Single use and annual campaigns included both traditional and non-traditional media mixes; each campaign custom tailored to the target audience and have included; radio, television, website, digital screens and information boards, electronic signage, posters, display ads, bus advertisements, social media, and experiential marketing. Established and managed the college’s brand throughout internal and external marketing materials, I stimulated and strengthened Northern College’s brand identity throughout the catchment area (Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Haileybury and Moosonee). Performed routine clerical duties, established and allocated budgets for campaigns, liaised with suppliers / printers and selected, designed, and procured promotional items.

As the web developer / graphic designer I designed, developed, implemented and maintained the college’s website(s) and intranet (internal website), researched emerging technologies and applications that enhanced the web experience, integrated these technologies in a phased approach thus moving the intranet forward.

By proposing improvements to communication and marketing methods, systems and procedures, the strategic communications and marketing plan for the establishment were improved. Created and implemented campaigns for digital and print media, including the development of the establishment’s first website.

A cooperative six month placement through Humber College, where junior level design work was completed for clients including Nestle, Lottery Gaming, Campbell, Cadbury and Scott Paper. Worked with the marketing team and developed concepts, prepared inspiration boards, researched, completed simple photography, graphic design, and created 3 dimensional mock-ups for client review.
