Progettazione

Tutti i prodotti delle linee create da Petenà sono frutto di un attento studio progettuale che segue le richieste del mercato senza trasurare l’antica tradizione vetraia Veneziana.

Produzione decori

Parte del vetro lavorato è destinato alla realizzazione dei decori da apporre sopra i piatti, alcuni tra i più diffusi sono le Graniglie e le Stecche di vetro colorate.

Decorazione dei particolari

Anche i particolari vengono decorati con la massima cura. Perché l’attenzione a ogni dettaglio rende l’oggetto che aquistate unico e prezioso.

Composizione pezzo

Come la tela di un pittore la lastra di vetro è pronta a diventare un pezzo unico, l’accostamento di ogni elemento viene creato con il massimo rispetto per creare un’opera che deve entrare nel cuore di chi la acquista.

Messa su stampi e cottura

Una volta ultimata la composizione i prodotti vengono messi su di uno stampo che con il calore del forno ne determinerà la forma. Il ciclo di cottura durerà poi 48 ore per permettere al vetro di non subire shock termici.

Foratura e packaging

I prodotti, come gli orologi, vengono poi forati e smerigliati per eliminare ogni impurità. Si passa poi all’imballaggio per consegnare al cliente un prodotto certificato.

La nostra azienda opera nel campo della decorazione artistica del vetro da quasi mezzo secolo, avvalendosi di antiche tecniche di lavorazione proprie dei maestri vetrai Muranesi, tramandate da generazioni di padre in figlio.Con l’apporto delle nuove tecnologie senza però mai trascurare la tradizione vetraia, riusciamo oggi a produrre mediante la tecnica della ‘vetrofusione’, dei pezzi lavorati a mano unici nel loro genere. Proprio la possibilità infatti di intervenire direttamente e ma-nualmente sul prodotto ci dà la capacità, sia di realizzare pezzi preziosi grazie all’uso di materiali pregiati (quali ad esempio l’oro) sia di creare forme e accostamenti di colore infinite e personalizzabili a seconda delle richieste del cliente. Ogni piccola ‘imperfezione’ è la testimonianza di una lavorazione svolta esclusivamente a mano non è quindi da considerarsi un difetto nella produzione bensì un’esal-tazione estetica del prodotto stesso. La nostra Azienda è quindi attenta ad ogni esigenza per una collaborzione sincera e duratura, pronta a cogliere le innovazioni del mercato ma sempre ligia alla tradizione dell’Arte Muranese.

Our company has been operating in the artistic glass decoration sector for almost fifty years and it makes use of ancient processing techniques that are typical of Murano master glass-makers and that have been handed on from father to son.Due to the introduction of new technologies, but always respecting the glass-making tradition, we can nowadays manufacture some unique hand-processed pieces by using the “glass fusion” technique. Indeed, our direct and manual intervention on the products enables us to create precious products by using valuable materials (including gold) as well as to create an unlimited amount of tailor-made shapes and colour matches according to our customers’ needs. Each small “imperfection” testifies an exclusively hand-made processing, therefore it should not be considered as a manufacturing defect, but rather as an aesthetic element exalting the product itself. Our Company pays special attention to each customer’s need in order to start a sincere and long-lasting cooperation and it is also ready to make use of the market innovations, even though it always respects the tradition of Murano Art.

All the products belonging to the lines created by Petenà are the result of a thorough design that follows the market trends without disregarding the traditional Venetian glass-making art.

Manufacturing of decorations

Part of the processed glass is used to manufacture decorations to be placed on the plates; the most widely spread ones are the Grits and the coloured glass Bars.

Decoration of details

Details are thoroughly decorated too. Indeed the attention paid to each detail makes the object you are about to buy a unique and precious item.

Composition of a pice

Just like a painter’s picture, a glass pane is ready to become a single piece and each element is matched in a perfect way in order to create a real work of art, aimed at winning its buyers’ heart.

Moulding and cooking

Once the composition is ready, products are placed in a mould, which is used to outline their shape after they have been cooked in the oven. The cooking cycle will last for 48 hours in order to avoid glass heat-shocks.

Drilling and packaging

Some products, including clocks, are drilled and ground in order to eliminate any impurity from their surface. After that, they are packed so that customers can boast a certified product.
