DIRECTOR’S CUTH

We’ve always felt that working in Retail is just like the theatre - we put on ‘shows’, we rehearse, we open, we close, we’re judged -’was it a success darling?’. And every season, we strive to do better, to bring to the performance something new and exciting. This Autumn is no exception for, as well as our ‘classics’, we have plenty of new products to tempt you.Now you might be forgiven for thinking we’ve moved somewhere to the south of Stockholm - there is undoubtedly a distinctly Scandinavian undertone to this new collection. Years of working with the Danes has taken its toll. We’ve succumbed, but we’d like to think that it’s still very us, a little more Nordic-French if you like..

We open with a glittering display of our festive decorations - a veritable mix of something old, something new.. great new icy pastels and a touch of modernity with the fabulous new paper decorations.Next up are the new Glass collections rich in autumnal colours and then the new Lighting and Lantern sections - a mix of French simplicity and vintage inspiration does the trick here. This is swiftly followed by Brocante and Furniture, a great double act if ever there was one.. and all utterly believable. To close, we of course remind you of our Vintage Paint - re-launched in June to much acclaim.As they say in the theatre, ‘Curtain up!’ and let the show begin!
