DELVIEW SECONDARY SCHOOL GRADE 12 COURSE SELECTION WORKSHEET 2011-2012

For course selection this year we are using the on-line process through Parent Connect. To meet graduation requirements, a student must complete a minimum of 80 credits; at least 16 credits (4 courses) are required at the Grade 12 level. Of the total 80 credits, 48 are designated required courses, 4 are for Grad Transitions and 28 are for elective courses, which must include a Fine Arts or Applied Skills course.

Delview Counsellors visit classes to brief students on course selection – February 1-4, 2011 Parent Information Night for Students currently in Grade 10, 11 – February 16, 2011 (7:00pm) Parent Connect “Opens” – course selection begins – March 10, 2011 Parent Connect “Closes” – course selection must be completed prior to this date – March 18, 2011 NON-CATCHMENT and NON-SCHOOL DISTRICT APPLICATION FORMS are necessary for all students new to Delview and not living in the Delview Secondary catchment area. These forms are available at any school office in Delta.
