Walls and roof coated by using rock wool layer of proper density and quantity. Soundproofing material firmly secured and protected by perforated sheet.

Internal airflow design to control internal temperature, reduced noise and water inlet and guarantee optimal condition for both engines and alternators.

The cooling system includes n°2 electro-fans mounted on a common monobloc support, main features of the system:

• N°2 Electrical Motors Siemens with PTC thermal sensor and oversized shaft bearing • (2x30kW, 26KW certificated up to 55°C) • Double water circuit (LT and HT) • Fan profile optimized for greater efficiency • Metal water piping with draining valves • Thermal sensor on engine hot water outlet • Easy control and refiling from roof access panels • The cooling system fans speed can be controlled by inverter (optional)

It allow have a flexible system with optimized power consumption and consequently lower fuel consumption.

The high degree of protection both of the mechanical part and for electrical parts (IP degree comparable to IP54) are further features against the deterioration of the machine enlarging the lifetime.

Double exhaust thermal insulation: each silencers is equipped of a double insulation to limit the increase of temperature inside the container.

Twingen system approval tests: The performance tests are passed successfully, even with difficult environmental conditions (tested with n.70 temperature sensor)

EASY AND FAST SERVICE & MAINTENANCE: Easy inspection, service and maintenance through inspection doors and panels. Each macro element (generators, fuel tank, cooling system, control panel) is easily removable for extraordinary maintenance if needed.

Fuel tank positioned under the cooling system on the rear side of the package with easy access for extraordinary maintenance such as substitution and/or repair.

The exhaust air exit is on the roof trough a dedicated air duct properly segregated. Hot air expulsion area inspection: compartment separated with internal panel (removable) for the engines airflow separation and this is easily accessible through dedicated external door with key opening. It is also possible to extract the radiators for extraordinary maintenance.

Fuel tank: The Twingen unit is equipped with a double wall metal fuel tank with a total capacity of 1800l placed inside a leak proof tray able to retain any fuel leakage. External fuel filler cap through segregated in a separate compartment accessible from the door with key. Each genset fuel system is connected to the fuel tank, which can be refilled trough the filling neck placed internally close to the lateral service door. Quick connection to the 6-way valve for rapidly increase the autonomy of the generator through an external tank.

The Twingen unit is equipped with an automatic synchronizing control panel that allow work with one or two gensets according to the load demand. The control panel is set on a rear side with dedicated access doors to each section, which are:

The water separator fuel filter kit allows to remove particulates and water from the fuel for a better working of the engine. It is particularly useful when the fuel quality is not ensured.

WSP 681 LPH The WSP 681 LPH filter protect the engine components from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltines, varnishes, and especially water, which is prevalent in engine fuels. They remove contaminants from fuel using the three-stage process: Stage 1 - Separation As fuel enters the assembly, it moves through the centrifuge and spins off large solids and water droplets, which are heavier than fuel, and fall to the bottom of the collection bowl. Stage 2 - Coalescing Small water droplets bead-up on the surface of the conical baffle and cartridge filter. When heavy enough, they too fall to the bottom of the collection bowl. Stage 3 - Filtration Proprietary Aquabloc®II cartridge filters repel water and remove contaminants from fuel down to 2 micron (nominal). Aquabloc®II cartridge filters are waterproof and effective longer than water absorbing filters.

The Automatic Fuel Pump is supplement allows the generator to run for a longer period of time than standard, since it will refill the built-in tank by transferring fuel from an external storage tank. This external tank does not need to be installed in the proximity of the generating set. The kit includes:

• N°1 automatic volumetric-type self-priming rotary vane pump designed for diesel fuel

• N°1 income-line filter • N°1 manual pump in parallel to the electric one for

an emergency tank refilling in case of failure of the automatic system

• Ball valves to facilitate maintenance operations and bypass

Working operation The system operation is managed by the control card on electrical panel through the capacitive fuel level sensor installed on the daily tank fixing the following main steps: • Minimum level - immediate shut-off of the engine in

order to avoid an empty fuel line. • Pump start - activates the automatic start of the

refueling pump. • Pump stop - the fuel tank is completely filled so

pumping stops. • Maximum level - this level is reached only in case of

failure in the pump’s electronic control. In this case an audible alarm is emitted by the control panel. A correct efficiency of the overflow piping is then required.

The ADI-B supplement is an adjustable differential protection type B, external to the control board. It is a residual current relay with external toroidal transformer. It provide a protection against indirect contacts, and prevent leakage currents. The relay also monitors electrical installations when used directly as signaling relay.
