Steve Hopper, Past District Governor 2015-16, Chairman, Rotary District 6460 Foundation Consider utilizing the Rotary District 6460 Foundation. The Rotary District 6460 Foundation is available to support the charitable objects and aims of our District. It is set up as a 501(c)(3) organization, which can offer tax advantages to donors. One of the main reasons the District Foundation was formed was to offer beneficial services to Rotary Clubs within the District that do not have their own foundation. You may want to consider the advantages of using this service for you Club’s charitable projects, whether they are local, regional or global. An example of one of our Rotary Clubs using our Rotary 6460 Foundation effectively is the Monmouth Rotary Club, that is doing a significant project to celebrate their Centennial Anniversary. Currently, you can send your contributions to:

Martin “Mac” McGee, Club President, Rotary Club of Aledo I was able to volunteer and help the Tasting Tent with booth registration and The Aledo Main Street group with selling 50/50 tickets. The prize is at least $5,000 to the winner to be drawn at Antique Days on August 25th. As I walked around the park, I was able to meet most of the booths and look over what they had to offer. Then I went to the ticket area and helped sell tickets

Hi from Kenya! Linda took this picture of me with my Rotary cap in Thika, Kenya with a few of the 340 physically challenged children at the Salvation Army supported Joy Town school for the handicapped. Our son serves the children here 2 days a week using his skills as an Occupational Therapist to help the children in many different ways. It's a challenging environment, to say the least! Greet my fellow Rotarians on Thursday! Submitted by: Larry McAuley
