Resolved to:

1. It is resolved that the orientation for first year UG students will be held from

15.07.2019 for a period of one week covering various aspects as suggested by

UGC

2. It is decided to invite Director of Collegiate Education for the inauguration of the

orientation program

3. GRCC Alumni association has agreed to arrange resource persons for the

orientation program

4. It is decided to entrust the task of organising orientation program to Prof.

Rukmini K and Dr. Anitha K, and were made coordinators for the same.

5. It is decided to give more thrust to imparting Ethical Values and Personality

development in the orientation program.

Resolved to:

1. The action plan for 2019-20 will be received from HOD's and various

committees/forums and decided to publish in college website

2. Is is resolved that the pending AQAR's should be submitted at the earliest.

3. It is decided to organise a National Level Seminar by IQAC on the topic relating

to NAP. It is also resolved to write to NAAC for financial assistance for

conducting the program

4. It is decided to conduct Certificate Courses for students during 2019-20 and all

the HOD's are informed to take steps immediately to implement the same

5. It is resolved to start 'Consumer Club' in the college to spread the awareness

about consumer rights amorfg the students and Dr. Sreelakshmi K, is appointed

as Coordinator for the same.

6. To organise workshop/sensitisation program on SWAYAM/LOOCS for both

students and faculties and register for the same

7. It is resolved to conduct special lectures for students by inviting experts from

different fields

1. The meeting has approved that:

a. The one day NAAC Sponsored National Seminar shall be organised on 7th

February-2020 as approved by NAAC

b. It is decided to publish papers in ISBN numbered proceedings

c. It is decided to finalise in the next meeting based on the total estimation of

the seminar to collect delegate fee and publication fee

d. It is decided to have inaugural session followed by two technical sessions.

e. It is resolved that additional expenditure (Over and above Rs.75000/-

sanctioned by NAAC) shall be mobilised through delegation fee,

sponsorships, etc

f. It is decided to form committees for conducting the seminar and asked

IQAC coordinator to prepare draft committee for approval in the next

meeting

ACTION TAKEN REPORT-a0I9 -20

1. Orientation for first semester B.Com, B.Com (Tourism) and BBA courses was

held from 15.07.2019 for a period of one week covering various aspects as

suggested by UGC

2. Action plan cum calendar of events was prepared and uploaded in website. The

concerned departments and committees have followed accordingly.

3. New course BBA (Aviation) was started during 2019-20 under the affiliation of

Bengaluru Central University

4. Proposal for starting new course B.Com (Hon) is made to government and is in

advanced stage of obtaining permission

5. Organised One Day NAAC Sponsored National Level Seminar on 7th February-

2020 on the topic'Participatory Learning in Higher Education - Challenges and

Opportunities'

6. A Workshop was organized on 0511112019 for faculties and PG Students mainly

focused on innovative entrepreneurship intellectual property right tools

7. Consumer Club was established in the college. It was inaugurated on 25th

October-20L9

8. Workshop on 'SWAYAM: A Major MOOC Initiative of MHRD' jointly

organised by IQAC and PG Library on 14th December-2llg.

9. Student feedbackwas obtained by online method
