Admissions in Professional Degree Courses viz. B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture,

B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, B.F.Sc., B. Tech.

(Agricultural Engineering), B. Tech. (Food Technology), B.Sc. (Hons)

Community Science and B. Tech. (Biotechnology) in Agricultural

Universities of the Maharashtra

1. INTRODUCTION:

1.1 In exercise of the powers conferred by the Maharashtra Un-aided Private Professional

Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission and Fees) Act, 2015 notified by

Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy development and Fisheries Department, gazette

dated 15.01.2018, the undergraduate Courses [B. Sc. (Honors) (Agriculture) / B. Sc.

(Honors) (Horticulture) / B. Sc. (Honors) (Forestry) / B. Tech. (Agriculture

Engineering) / B. Tech. (Food Technology) / B. Sc. (Honors) (Community Science) /

B. Tech. (Biotechnology) are declared and notified as professional educational courses

and rules and regulations are finalized for eligibility for admission. The admission rules

are notified as per Government gazette, Department of Agriculture, Animal

Husbandry, Dairy development and Fisheries dated 1/06/2018 and as per Government

gazette, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and

Fisheries dated 1/06/2019, the criteria for merit is updated.

The Fisheries science is declared as professional degree course as per the

government resolution, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy development and

Fisheries Department, No. MaPaVi 2017/Pra.Kra. 57/Mhapsu dated 9/08/2017.

Similarly, as per Government gazette Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy

development and Fisheries Department dated 13/06/2018, the terms and conditions of

eligibility for admissions to B. F. Sc. course in Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi

Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri are decided. Similarly, admission rules are decided

as per Government Resolution, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy

development and Fisheries No. 1517/Pra.Kra./67 Mhapsu dated 18/06/2018.

As per the eligibility, conditions and criteria‟s mentioned in this Gazette, the

CET organized by competent authority is mandatory for admissions in Government and

Government Aided and Un-aided private professional educational institutions. The

admission procedure in these courses will be conducted under control of Admission

Regulatory Authority.

1.2 As per the Government Resolution, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry,

Dairy Development and Fisheries No. 1517/ |É.Gò. 20 (1) / 7 +ä, Ênù.02/02/2018, the

above rules are applicable to all Courses in Government and Government aided

Colleges.

1.3 The Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (Agriculture

Council), Pune is a Statutory Body which has been constituted under Section 12 of the

Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Act, 1983. Agriculture Council

helps to make effective coordination in the Education, Research and Extension

Education under four Agricultural Universities of the State.

1.4 As per the Government Resolution, Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry,

Dairy Science and Fisheries No. ¨ÉEÞòÊ´É 2010 / |É.Gò. 155 / 7 +ä, Ênù.20/10/2011 the

Government of Maharashtra has finalized the strategy of reservation of seats,

procedure for the distribution of social reservations and the admission procedure for

the degree, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses offered by Agricultural universities. The

said GR is available on MCAER website.

1.5 The responsibility of Online Admission Process has been bestowed upon Kalp

Technologies Pvt. Ltd. („KTPL‟), Pune as per decision taken in the meeting of ARA.

1.7 Definitions:

(a) “Act” means the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions

(Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015 (Mah. XXVIII of 2015);

(b) “College Admission Reporting Centre” means a centre where the candidate shall report for

confirmation of admission by verification of document and payment of fees;

(c) “Application Form” means prescribed form filled up online by the Candidate for

admission.

(d) “CAP Seats” means the seats filled in through the centralized process of admission carried

out by the Competent Authority.

(e) “Courses” means the full time Professional Degree Technical Courses in Agriculture,

Horticulture, Forestry, B.F.Sc. (Fishery Science), Agriculture Engineering, Food

Technology, Biotechnology and Community Science;

(f) “Department” means the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and

Fisheries Department of Government of Maharashtra;

(g) “Eligible Candidates” means the candidates who are eligible for different professional

courses as notified by the Government from time to time, under sub-section (1) of section

3 of the Act;

(h) “Facilitation Centre” means a centre where the facilities like filling online forms,

verification of documents and grievances, etc, are provided.

(i) “HSC” means the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII Science) examination

conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education

or its equivalent certificate awarded by a recognized Board;

(j) “Institutional Quota” means seats available for admission to the eligible candidates at

Institution level as declared by the Government or appropriate Authority, from time to

time;

(k) “Inter-Se-Merit” means the order of merit declared by the Competent Authority in respect

of various classes/category of Candidates;

(l) “MCAER” means the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education And Research

established under section 12 of the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi

Vidyapeeths) Act, 1983(Mah. XLI of 1983);

(m) “Agriculture University” The University established as per the provisions of Article 3 (1)

of the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Act 1983.

(n) “Minority Quota” means seats earmarked for the Minority Community students from

within the State of Maharashtra, belonging to the Minority Community to which the

institution belongs.

(o) “Qualifying Examination” means Examination on the basis of which a candidate becomes

eligible for admission or its equivalent examination.

(p) “SSC” means the Secondary School Certificate (Standard X) examination conducted by

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent

certificate awarded by a recognized Board.

(q) “Admission Process Centre” means a Government or Government aided college allotted

by respective Agricultural University where the spot admission in selected colleges will be

carried out.

(r) “Spot Admission Round” means after the planned online admission rounds are over; the

vacant seats are filled through merit list candidates as per rules. Merit list is prepared for

such candidates who are physically present in respective spot admission process centers.

This admission process shall be conducted by considering Eligibility, Reservation and

merit of candidate and not considering the preferences given by them.

(s) “Online Admission Allotment Round” means the Process of allotment of admission to

candidate under CAP on the basis of candidate merit, reservation and preference (Option).

(t) “Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)” means a candidate or a person registered as an

Overseas Citizen of India as declared by the Central Government under section 7 C of the

Citizenship Act, 1955 (CST of 1955) and includes Persons of Indian Origin (PIO).

Explanation: For the purposes of this clause, all the existing Persons of Indian Origin

(PIO) card holders registered under notification of the Government of India, Ministry of

Home Affairs No. F. No. 26011/04/98-AF (One) dated, 19th

August 2002 and shall now

be deemed to be Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders by virtue of Notification of

Government of India, Ministry of Home Affair, No. 25024/9/2014-AF (one), dated 9th

January 2015.

(u) Agriculture University Quota 'U' Quota means the candidates who possess the

Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra. If doesn‟t have domicile, the candidates in

Maharashtra State having their birth place in Maharashtra mentioned on their College /

School Leaving Certificates or Birth Certificate issued by competent authority of

Maharashtra State and those who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate

examination conducted in the respective jurisdiction of the Agricultural University of

Maharashtra, seats reserved for such candidates shall be referred to as „Agriculture

University Quota‟ [„U‟ Quota].

(v) Maharashtra Quota 'M' Quota

The candidates who possess the Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra. If doesn‟t have

domicile, the candidates with Maharashtra State as their birth place in Maharashtra

mentioned on their College / School Leaving Certificates or Birth Certificate issued by

competent authority of Maharashtra, seats reserved for such candidates shall be referred to

as „'Maharashtra Quota‟ [„M‟ Quota]. Therefore, Candidates under the University

Quota [„U‟ Quota] are also eligible for Maharashtra Quota [„M‟ Quota].

(u) Other State Quota 'OS' Quota means the candidate or their parents who are not

staying in Maharashtra for at least three years in the period of past consecutive 10 years,

and if a person has a Domicile Certificate from some other State of the country other than

Maharashtra, then such candidates shall be referred to as Quota for Candidates from Other

State.

2. DETAILS OF INSTITUTIONS AND DEGREE COURSES:

2.1 DEGREE COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum age: The age of the candidate should be 16 years as on last date of submission

of application form.

2. Aggregate marks: Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (12th

Std.

Science) with minimum 50% marks for General category (Open) and minimum 40%

marks in aggregate for reserved categories (SC/ST/VJa/NTb/NTc/NTd/OBC/

SBC/SEBC/EWS/Handicapped).

3. This degree courses are full time courses and medium of instruction for teaching and

examination shall be English. .

(2) Candidates from outside of Maharashtra State who have passed qualifying

examination of XII Std. (Science) or equivalent with Botany and Zoology instead of

Biology are also eligible for admission.

(3) The candidates acquiring Diploma in Agriculture Science at Rural Institute Amravati

or Wardha under the jurisdiction of Dr. PDKV, Akola are qualified for B.Sc.

(Honours) (Agri.), B.Sc. (Honours) (Hort.), B.Sc. (Honours) (Forestry), B. F. Sc.,

B. Tech. (Biotech.), and B.Sc. (Honours) (Community Science)degree courses in all

SAU‟s where eligibility criteria is Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

(4) The Candidates acquiring diploma in Agricultural Engineering from Jammu &

Kashmir State with qualifying subjects mentioned in the column of eligibility for

B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) will be eligible for admission in the Agricultural Engineering

faculty.

(5) The changes will be made in admission eligibility as per government resolution

issued time to time.

(6) The highest marks of entrance examination will be considered in case of candidate

appearing more than one entrance examination.

(7) NEET Common admission entrance examination is also available in Physics,

Chemistry and Biotechnology group but this group of NEET Common admission

entrance examination will not be considered for admission.

(8) Inter (Agriculture) course should be as per the criteria laid down by Indian council of

Agriculture Research.

(9) The schedule of admission process will not be postponed, if result of examination

conducted by Indian council of Agriculture Research (AIEEA –UG) is delayed.

3. As per the Govt. letter No. Makrupa 2018/Pra.Kra. 80/7-A dated 13-07-2018, 30 admitted

students are selected Netherland course. The aspiring candidates for 30 seats for the

Netherlands programme are advised to contact directly to the College of Agriculture,

Baramati/MPKV, Rahuri.

4. 51 % seats from Colleges of Minority Institutions will be reserved for concerned minority

students and will be filled through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) along with remaining

49 % seats. 20 % Institutional quota is not reserved in minority institutes. Writ petition is filed

in Hon‟ble High Court regarding institutional quota in minority colleges. The decision of

Hon‟ble High Court regarding this matter will be implemented.

5. The students of B. Tech. (Biotech) Degree 3+1 years course from Vidya Pratisthan College of

Biotechnology. Baramati Dist. Pune will complete first three years at Baramati and remaining

one year will complete at Netherland.

6. The rights to increase or decrease the intake capacity are reserved with MCAER, Pune.

7. The rights to stop admission process of any College listed above at any time are reserved with

State Common Admission Examination Cell / MCAER/Concerned Agricultural University.

8. The fees deposited by Government college (e.g. Grade card Fees, Examination fees etc) to

concern Agricultural University may also be deposited by unaided private colleges to concerned

agricultural university.

9. There is no separate fees structure for institutional quota, The fees structure mentioned above is

also applicable to management quota.

10. Unaided private colleges will not allowed to charge any other fees other than mentioned above.

11. Unaided college will collect annual fees in two semesters in equal instalments

12. The hostel fees for unaided private colleges is same as per hostel fees for government colleges

mentioned in Sr. No. 18.1. The said fees will be in addition to fees mentioned above.

3. INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES :

3.1 Before filling the online application form, the candidates should read the prospectus

and the application form carefully.

(i) Every applicant should fill only one application form „online‟ on website

maha-agriadmission.in. If a candidate submits more than one application form,

the latest filled application form complete in all respects shall be considered as

valid.

(ii) Do not send the copy of the application form or any other documents by Post /

courier or hand delivery to anyone including MCAER, Agriculture University

or M/S. KTPL, Pune.

(iii) After filling the application form on the website, the candidate should scan his /

her signature, his / her passport-sized photograph and original copies of all the

necessary documents and upload them on the website. If a document is scanned in

the authorized centers of M/S. KTPL, Pune then a fee of Rs. 5/ per document- will

be charged for it. A list of such authorized centers is available on the website -

„maha-agriadmission.in‟.

(iv) The online application form filling process does not require any fees. But,

candidates not appeared for Maharashtra State common entrance test (MHT-CET

2019) will have to pay Rs. 800 (for reserved and handicapped Rs. 600/-) through

online payment gateway.

(v) Candidates desirous of seeking admission through Institute quota as well as

minority quota at Institution level are also required to fill and submit their online

application with uploading relevant document through website.

3.2 The candidates should scan the following original documents and upload it through

their Log-in on web site.

(a) Mark sheet /Grade card of qualifying examination as well as mark sheet of

Common Entrance Test. (If percentage obtained is not mentioned in 12th

Std

(Science) marksheet, then it is compulsory to upload signed letter from Principal of

concern college mentioning percentage in marksheet)

(b) SSC (X) Std. Mark sheet / Statement of marks (If percentage obtained is not

mentioned in Xth

Std marksheet then upload signed letter from Principal of concern

college mentioning percentage in marksheet other wise minimum percentage in

concern grade will be considered)

(c) (i) School / College (Last attended Examination passed) Leaving certificate

or if the candidate has been admitted into some other course (except

Agriculture Universities in Maharashtra) then Bonafide Certificate from that

particular college.

(ii) The candidate admitted in last Academic Year in any Agricultural University

in Maharashtra if again applies to seek the admission for the current

academic year for the First Year Degree Course then the „Bonafide

Certificate‟ issued from the last attended respective College/Institute will

be considered.

(iii) Bonafide Certificate in case of candidate seeking admission in by ICAR

quota.

(iv) If the candidates from other States (out of Maharashtra) are unable to provide

the College Leaving Certificate then in such a cases provide the Migration

Certificate from that particular college/University.

(v) If such a candidate is given admission then it shall be necessary for him / her

to submit the College Leaving Certificate within three months. If the said

certificate is not submitted within the stipulated period then his / her

provisional admission is liable to get cancelled.

(vi) Last attended College / School leaving Certificates in case of Candidate

passed in 12th

std. by filling form No.17.

(d) (i) Domicile Certificate of the candidate issued by Competent Authority from

Maharashtra State or College / School Leaving Certificate or Birth

Certificate issued by Competent Authority of Maharashtra State mentioning

the birth place from Maharashtra State.

(ii) Domicile Certificate / Residential certificate / Residential and Birth

certificate of the candidate from other State issued by Competent Authority

of their respective State.

(e) (i) 7/12 extract/Khasara (Village form of Record of Rights) for the year

2017-18 or 2018-19 issued by the Talathi/Patwari. The name/s of candidate/his

parents / Grandparents should appear on such 7/12 Extract / khasara.

(ii) In case parents are not alive, the 7/12 extract should be in the name of family

head and the candidate should have an Affidavit of family head on Stamp

Paper of Rs.100/- (Hundred only) of the agricultural land holder stating

that the applicant has legitimate share in the agricultural land.

(iii) In case the extract is not in Marathi/Hindi or English, a certified true

translation shall be uploaded.

(iv) In case the mother of an applicant holds ancestral Agricultural land and

candidate submits an Affidavit of her father on Stamp Paper of Rs.100/-

(Hundred only) stating that ancestral land exist in her name and upload copy of

7/12 extract thereof, the weightage of 12 points will be admissible to the

candidate.

(v) The applicants are advised to keep sufficient photo copies of 7/12 extract /

khasara with them at the time of admission.

(vi) It is mandatory for the candidate to file an affidavit on Rs 100 stamp paper in

case his/her name appearing on mark sheet and certificate of 12th std. is

different from mentioned on 7/12 extract/khasara.

(vii) Signature of Talathi/Competent officer is manatory for online 7/12 extract.

(f) If candidate‟s parents are landless agriculture labours, the Certificate issued

by the Tahsildar/Naib Tahsildar stating that the principle means of livelihood

of parents is as farm labour wages (This certificate should not be in the name

of applicant). „Agriculturist‟ (AG) category will not be given to Landless

Agricultural Labour. Proforma of this certificate is at Appendix „A‟.

(g) (i) Certificate of Agriculturist issued by the Tahsildar or Naib Tahsildar for

the year 2017-18 or 2018-19. The format of this certificate has been

attached at Appendix „C‟. It is necessary to mention in the certificate that the

candidate or his / her parents or tenants grandmother / grandfather (father‟s

parents) are farmland owners or farmers the (those cultivating the land) and

the main source of income for that family is the income generated from

cultivating this land or certificate issued by the Tahsildar or Naib

Tahsildar in the prescribed format available with them. (Appendix „B‟)

(ii) In case of Fisherman, a Certificate issued by Assistant commissioner of

Fishery stating that the main source of income of candidate‟s parents is

from fishing only.

(h) With reference to the order given by Hon‟ble Supreme court Civil appeal No.

11234-48/2017, candidates from SC, ST, VJ(a), NT(b), NT(c), NT(d), Other

backward class (OBC), Special Backward Category (SBC) and Socially and

Educational Backward Classes (SEBC) should provide Caste validity certificate.

However,

(1) In case validity certificate is not issued to SC, ST, VJ(a), NT(b), NT(c), NT(d),

Other backward class (OBC) and Special Backward Category (SBC), then upload

the receipt of concern office for the issue of validity certificate in place of caste

validity certificate. Such candidates are considered in cncern category during first

allotment round. But, it is conpulsory fr such candidates to submit caste validity

certificate to the college upto last day of reporting time of first allotment round.

Otherwise college will cancel the admission and such candidates are considered for

remaining admission process in open category.

(2) Candidates from SC, ST, VJ(a), NT(b), NT(c), NT(d), Other backward class

(OBC) and Special Backward Category (SBC) category who have uploaded the

receipt of concern office for the issue of validity certificate and not admitted in first

allotment round can uplaod caste validity certificate through his login, up to last

date of reporting of first allotment round. Such candidates are considered in concern

category.

(3) As per letter No. CBC 2019/Pra. kra. 107/MAvak, dated 26-6-2019 from

Deputy Secretary, VJ Nt, OBC and Special Backward Category Welfare

Department, the caste validity certificate is not compulsory for Socially and

Educational Backward Classes (SEBC).

(i) VJ(a), NT(b), NT(c), NT(d), Other backward class (OBC), Special Backward

Category (SBC), Socially and Educational Backward Classes (SEBC) should

provide „Non-Creamy Layer‟ Certificate issued by a competent authority on 1

April, 2019 or issued after that date or valid till the day the option form is

submitted. Certificate of Tahsildar for Economically Weaker Section in open

category

(j) Certificate of „Project Affected Person‟ by the District Resettlement Officer or

an officer authorized by the Government of Maharashtra (if authorized then with

the letter about the authorization from a competent authority) stating that the

candidate / candidate‟s parents/grand parents is project-affected and the farmland of

their parents or grandfather has been acquired by Agricultural Universities /

Irrigation / Electricity / Defence Projects of Maharashtra. It is necessary that the

name of the person who should get the benefits of the concessions should be

clearly mentioned on the certificate issued by the competent authority.

(k) N.C.C. „B‟ or „C‟ / Air / Naval /Army wing Certificate issued by the

Commandant.

(l) (i) Certificate of Games/Sports/Debate / Essay/ Elocution issued by the District

Sports Officer that the applicant has represented the Institute in XIth

and /

or XIIth

Std. in District, State, National, International level tournaments.

(ii) In case of students of Navodaya Vidyalaya, certificate signed jointly by the

District Sports Officer and District Collector and issued on behalf of the

'School Game Federation of India (SGFI)'.

Note: If found that the mark sheet of 12th

Std. is inclusive of sports marks,

avoid the additional benefits of weightages/marks, the uploaded

certificate of such sport will not be considered.

(iii) Certificate issued by the Association of Sports will not be considered.

(m) Certificate of „Freedom Fighter‟ signed by the Hon. Prime Minister / Chief

Minister, Maharashtra State stating that the mother / father of the applicant is a

Freedom Fighter. Son / daughter of the Freedom Fighter or their son / daughter

shall get the benefit of this certificate. An affidavit with on Rs. 100/- stamp paper

covering the following points should be given by the freedom fighter or if the

freedom fighter is no longer alive by the husband / wife/Nominee of the freedom

fighter.

(1) The candidate is the son‟s/daughter‟s son/daughter of the freedom fighter.

(2) The freedom fighter has not availed this concession for any of his / her

relatives earlier, and after using it now, shall not do so in the future.

If there are any doubts, complaints, difficulties regarding the above-

mentioned points, please refer the prevailing government resolution for clarification.

(n) N.S.S. Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.

(o) If candidate‟s father is defence personnel, Defence Personnel Certificate from

Zilla Sainik Board or Discharge Certificate from Commanding Officer of the

regiment or Serviceman Certificate in prescribed format.

(p) „No-Objection Certificate‟ from the Employer in case of in-service Candidate.

(q) If applicant‟s parent is an employee of MCAER / State Agricultural University

including retired, deceased employee, Employer‟s Certificate issued by

Controlling Officer/Head of the office.

(r) Migrant/Displaced students from Jammu and Kashmir State should upload

Certificate on website from the Competent Authority as mentioned in

Government Resolution, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and

Fisheries Department, No. AGU-2095/23106/CR-181/19-A, dated: 5-9-1996, The

said GR is available at MCAER website. Mere Affidavit regarding displacement

will not be entertained.

(s) Candidates applying through the Physically-disabled category should submit the

Certificate of Physically Handicapped issued by the competent authority (District

Civil Surgeon or equivalent Government Hospital / Medical Board designated in

behalf).

(t) The candidate willing to take admission from orphaned category are required to

submit Orphaned certificate issued from Commissioner, Women and Child

Development on his/her letter head with the signature of Deputy Commissioner

(Child Development), Pune/ Commissioner, Women and Child Development, Pune.

(u) Self-Declaration letter in the prescribed format (Appendix „C‟) for Minority quota

of Minority Religious/ Linguistic.

The scanned documents should be readable. Please upload the documents by

confirming it. If the uploaded documents are not readable, they will not be accepted

and the candidate will be solely responsible for the same.Upload the self declaration

certificate in Appendix „D‟ regarding authenticity of uploaded original documents.

3.3 The application which has been filled completely in all respects and has been

uploaded on or before the last date notified in the admission schedule, such

application shall be accepted and considered for admission.

3.4 Director or principal of non-granted institutes will follow the following system of

admission process for Institutional quota. 1) The college should publish the college information manual and admission rules well

in advance before the admission process is started. The said information manual /

Broachers should be published by the concern college/ institute. The same

information will also be displayed on the college / institute‟s website.

2) College may publish this advertisement on competent authority‟s website by paying

fixed fees.

3) Candidates from state merit list willing to take admissions in Institutional quota

should submit their application in person to concern institute/college as per the

schedule.

4) Admissions are given to the candidates as per state merit list of candidates who have

submitted application form during common admission process and later on to the

institute and List of such candidates will be published on notice board and website of

Institute/College

5) Institute Director/ Principal of college should admit candidate as per merit in merit

list.

6) The information regarding the admission and cancellation should immediately be

updated through computerized online process.

7) College should follow procedure for admissions in Institutional quota as per the

“Time Table for Filling Institutional Quota” given at Point No. 19.

3.5 Minority quota admissions process:

The 51 % seats will be reserved for Minority Linguistic or Religious community in

colleges under Institutes having Minority status. Depending on merit, the seats reserved

for minorities will be allocated through the centralized admission process only. These

will be distributed to the candidates of said community. If the reserved seats are vacant

after this admission process then said vacant seats will be allotted to candidates of

Maharashtra state on the basis of merit.

3.6 Approval to Merit list and list of candidates secured admission;

(a) After completion of Admission process, every Aided, Govt. Aided and unaided

Private Professional Colleges has to follow time to time instructions given by

Admission Regulatory Authority for approval of candidates admissions.

(b) If any Minority Institute fails to fill minimum 51 % of its total intake capacity during

consecutive three years period then said information will be communicated by the

said institute to competent authority.

3.7 The application form shall be rejected due to any one of the following discrepancies:

(a) If not fulfilling minimum age or minimum aggregate marks criteria.

(b) If the scan copy of Domicile Certificate issued by competent authority or

College / School Leaving Certificate containing place of birth or birth

Certificate issued by the competent authority is not uploaded.

(c) If the candidate has not uploaded the latest passport-sized photograph and own

signature on the website.

(d) If the scan copy of the Mark Sheet / Grade Card of the qualifying examination as

well as Mark sheet of CET examination is not uploaded.

(e) If the scan copy of original School / College Leaving Certificate (last attended) is

not uploaded. (If the Candidate has secured admission for degree elsewhere,

Bonafied Certificate of that Institute will be accepted. However, the Candidate

should submit the Leaving Certificate of original college after securing admission

within a period of three months.)

(f) If „No Objection Certificate‟ of the Employer is not uploaded by the in service

candidate.

(g) If self declaration regarding authenticity of uploaded original copies is not

uploaded on website.

3.8 If during the process of admission, it is found that marks are equal (tie criteria)

then following guiding principles should be followed to decide the merit, in

descending order of preference

(a) Higher percentile in CET.

(b) Higher percentage in H.S.C. Examination.

(c) Lesser number of attempts to pass in Higher Secondary School Certificate

Examination.

(d) Higher marks in compulsory subject from PCB or PCM group.

(e) Higher percentage in 10th

Std.

(f) The candidate elder in Age.

(g) The Online application submitted first.

3.9 Admission form and additional documents will not be accepted through courier / post

/by hand delivery after submission of application form on web site.

3.10 The candidates should mention maximum options of colleges as per their priority in

application form. To do so, make use of the respective college code. Once the

application form is uploaded, any changes in application form / options will not be

allowed.

3.11 (a) The candidate should fill correct information in all the columns.

(b) CET Cell, „KTPL‟ or MCAER shall not be responsible if there is any kind of

discrepancy in the form filled by the candidate and if it negatively affects the

candidate‟s merit.

3.12 After the final merit list is announced, admission shall be given by taking into

account the available seats, secured marks, applicable reservations and options

given by the candidates.

3.13 Preference(s) furnished by the Candidate in the application form shall be first

considered for allocation of seat under „M‟ Quota at the State Level and

subsequently for admission from „U‟ Quota i.e. Agriculture University Level Quota.

3.14 The list of selected candidates for admission from „M‟ quota and „U‟ quota will be

available on the websites on the dates mentioned in the admission schedule.

3.15 Important instructions for the admissible candidates have been given in the

Appendix „E‟.

3.16 As per the Government Circular, Higher and Technical Education Department,

No.Misc-2011/(103)/(11)/ME-3, dated 18/4/2011, while taking admission, it is

necessary for the candidate to furnish cleanliness related information

in Appendix „F‟.

3.17 As per the Government Resolution, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry,

Dairy Science and Fisheries, Sr. No. ºÉÆEòÒhÉÇ-1517/|É.Gò.185/6-A, dated 5/6/2017, the

Candidate whose name had not been included in the voters list are required to

submit the undertaking and fill the form No. 6, 7, 8 and 8-A at the time of admission

and submit to the respective college.

4. ADMISSION PROCEDURE :

4.1 The candidate should read all the information carefully about the admission process given

in the prospectus.

4.2 The admission process for the CET cell and State Agricultural Universities will be

conducted by „KTPL‟, Pune.

4.3 In the Common Entrance Test conducted by the competent authority ( MHT-

CET/JEE/NEET/AIEEA-UG) the merit of admission will be determined by considering

total percent/percentile marks obtained in the respective group (PCB/PCM) and the other

weightages.

4.4 If candidate appears for more than one entrance exam. or appears for both groups (PCB /

PCM group) in entrance examination, then the maximum percentile/percent marks

obtained in concern entrance exam. or group will be considered.

4.5 As per provisions of Article 5 of the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi

Vidyapeeths) Act 1983, to get admission to the Undergraduate courses, the parents of

candidate should be residing in Maharashtra State for at least 3 years during past 10 years

and such candidates shall be deemed as eligible for admission. But, the candidates and

their parents who have been residing in the State for less than 3 years in the past 10 years

shall be considered as Out of State candidates and for these candidates 2% seats of intake

capacity will be reserved (The said criteria is not applicable for non-aided affiliated

colleges).

4.6 Excluding the reserved seats for Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi and

candidates from other States, the remaining seats will be filled as follows

(a) First of all, seats for the candidates from 30 percent seats –

the State of Maharashtra „M‟ Quota.

(b) Then, such candidates who have passed

the qualifying examination from schools/ 70 percent seats -

colleges/institutes under the „U‟ Quota.

In case of non-aided Colleges except minority colleges, the allocation of seats shall be

as follows:

(a) 20% of intake capacity for Institutional Quota,

(b) Out of remaining 80% seats of intake capacity,

- 30% for Maharashtra Quota and

- 70% for Agriculture University Quota.

4.7 Non minority Institutions intending to surrender the Institutional Quota (in part or full) of

specified colleges to the CAP shall communicate competent authority before last date of

online submission of admission form and the same shall be allotted as per the rules of

CAP.

4.8 The candidate having a Domicile Certificate from Maharashtra State or the place of birth

from Maharashtra mentioned in College Leaving Certificate of the candidate or who has

a birth certificate from a competent authority of Maharashtra State, but has cleared the

qualifying examination from out of the State, such a candidate can be considered only for

the „M‟ Quota.

4.9 As per Government Resolution, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and

Fisheries Department, No. AGU-2095/23106/cr-181/19-A dated 5th

September, 1996,

and No. AGU-1197/28688/cr-94/97/19-A, dated 27th

October,1997, one seat over and

above the intake capacity at each College for undergraduate course shall be filled

from the wards of displaced citizens and wards of officers/staff of military and

paramilitary forces / All India services posted to combat terrorists activities in

Jammu and Kashmir State. The said GR is available on MCAER website. (Applicable

to all Institutes except affiliated non-grant institutions). Such candidate shall apply online

at www.maha-agriadmission.in and have to collect copy of the application form

from KTPL, Pune by e-mail. The one copy of said application shall be sent to the

Chief Secretary, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Government of Jammu and

Kashmir will arrange to verify the Migration Displacement Certificate of the Candidates

and only valid applications may be forwarded by the State Government of Jammu

and Kashmir to the M/s. „Kalp Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Third floor, Gopal House, Near

Hotel Kimaya, Karve Road, Kothrud, Pune 411 029, Maharashtra‟.

4.10 All the admissions of degree courses shall be as per merit and shall be of temporary /

provisional type.

4.11 The merit list will be published on the websites. Candidates can view the merit list on

these websites. The candidates shall not be communicated about the merit list separately

through Post or telecommunication.

4.12 The applicants who have complaints about the provisional merit list should present their

grievance „online‟ using their „Login ID‟ and „Password‟ which is received at the time of

registration of admission on or before the date mentioned in the Admission Programme. If

the applications for grievance from the candidates are not received in online format within

the stipulated time period then his / her grievance shall not be taken into consideration.

4.13 Centralized Admission Process (CAP) –

As per the Government Resolution, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development

and Fisheries Department, No. Makruvi 2010/Pra.Kra. 155/7-A, dated 20-10-2011,

considering social and special reservation and also reservation mentioned in Sr. No. 5 of

this prospectus , the allocation of seats under centralized admission process / priority of

allocation of benefits of reservation and procedure for conversion of vacant seats is

implemented as per the said GR Appendix -1 and Appendix-2.

Before accepting the seat allotted during CAP, a candidate can opt to „Freeze‟, „Float‟ or

refuse the allotted seat option for college as per the procedure given below:

(a) Freeze- Candidates accept the offered seat and they do not want to participate in any further

rounds of seat allocation. Such Candidates will not be considered in subsequent rounds of

admission.

(b) Float- Candidate accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to an academic

program of higher preference in any Institution is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will

continue with the currently accepted academic program. Such Candidates will be considered

in second round of admission. Float option shall not be available for the seats allotted in

Round III (means, the Float option will be available for candidates who has been allotted

seat but not allotted with first option through first allotment round only).

(c) For candidates who choose the Float option, and secure a seat of his choice of higher

preference, then it would automatically result in the forfeiture of the seat accepted by the

candidate in the earlier round.

(d) Float options will not be available to a candidate who is offered admission as per first

choice.

(e) Candidates who are offered admission as per the first choice / selected freeze or float

option, they will get admission allotment letter through their login and they shall remain

present in allotted college with original documents within stipulated time period mentioned

on admission allotment letter during office hours. The admission of such candidate will be

confirmed by collage authorities only after checking and verifying the original documents

on which basis the admission is given and take entry on website. Concerned College will

return original documents to the candidate by keeping photocopy of the same with them.

Also the concern college shall check and verify the other documents which are mentioned

in their online form. If they do not match, the college will take such entry online and

modified the information in application form.

(f) If candidate selects float option in first round and receives nearest preference in second

round then there is no need to verify the documents at concern College again.

(g) After verification of documents by the colleges related to admission allotment, „Seat

acceptance fee‟ of Rs.1000 shall be deposited by the candidate through online process. The

said facility is available on candidate‟s login. The said fees will be non-refundable. It is

mandatory to deposit „Seat acceptance fees‟ for those candidates who have selected the

float option during first admission allotment round. Once the candidate deposited „Seat

acceptance fees‟ during first admission allotment round, thereafter no need to deposit fees

again at the time of second admission allotment round.

(h) If the required documents are incomplete, the respective college will reject such admission

and mention the ground for rejection of admission on website. On the basis of information

updated by college on website, the information in admission form will be updated. By

considering the modified information and modified merit list, said candidates shall be

considered in next admission process.

(i) Other than Candidate who have not been allotted the first choice or not interested in the

option Freeze or Float, such candidates shall refuse the allotted admission. For this purpose,

such candidates should have to update the information regarding cancellation of admission

through his login. Such candidates are eligible for next admission rounds for options other

than the refused option.

(j) Candidate who have been allotted the seats and shall not take action as per above clause (e)

or (f) or (g) such candidates should not be eligible for next round of online admissions.

Such candidates are only eligible for spot admission allotment round.

(k) Candidate securing admission through online admission allotment round and after

completing freeze/float process, such candidate has to submit original documents and

required fees to the concern college. If candidates fail to do so, such seats will be treated as

vacant and will be filled by spot admission allotment round.

4.14 Reporting and confirming of admission in concerned Colleges personally –

After seeking admission through online CAP round, the candidates shall report to the

institutions allotted and submit the Original Documents and pay education fees for first

semester within stipulated time period mentioned in admission schedule. The concern

college will give the authentic receipt to the candidate.

4.15 Admission through spot admission round:

Vacant seats after online centralized admission process will be filled at „Admission

Process Centre‟ given in „Appendix-G‟ as per the procedure given in „Appendix –H‟.

4.16 General instructions regarding admissions:

(a) The candidate should get the printed copy of the provisional admission allotment letter

being issued on the website using his / her „Log in‟ and “Password‟, and he / she

should be present at the college where he / she has been allotted admission, with the

original copies of all the documents and enclosures, on or before the designated date;

If Candidate is unable to attend allotted college physically due to serious medical

reason, such candidate shall register their presence as per Appendix „I‟.

(b) If it is found anytime after taking the admission that the candidate has taken admission

by furnishing false information, such an admission shall be cancelled by the University.

(c) If it is found anytime during the admission rounds or after the admission that the

admission has been given because of some technical problem in the computer system or

any other mistake, admission of such a candidate shall be cancelled.

(d) If while scrutinizing the original documents and certificates submitted during admission,

it is found that the additional marks given are wrongly depicted then the admission of

the candidate shall not be considered as valid.

(e) The Associate Dean / Principal will record this fact on their website via their login.

Accordingly, the final list will be re-updated by KTPL and the said candidate will be

eligible for admission during next admission rounds as per his revised merit list.

(f) If a Candidate wants to report the complaint for allotment of admission, then the

candidate can file a complaint within the stipulated time of respective allotment

round to the Commissioner, State Common Entrance Examination Cell. The

Commissioner, State Common Entrance Examination Cell is Competent Authority to

hear such complaints after immediate confirmation and necessary action.

(g) The admission for the degree course will be final. Such candidate will not be eligible

to make any change in the University / College / Course.

(h) Admitted students will not be eligible for admission in the next admission round.

However, after taking admission as per allotment of admission during stipulated time

period of admission process, if student cancels his admission / rejected admission

allotment i.e. candidate cancels admission / students will be eligible for admission in

any other option during next online admission round, except for previous cancelled

options. Admission can be cancelled within given period.

(i) No complaint will be entertained regarding ignorance, deferment by the candidate or

any kind of technical failure or any other personal reasons.

(j) The information related to the admission process and the merit list of state level („M‟

Quota) and Agriculture university level („U‟ Quota) and admission status of admission

rounds will be available on the website.

(k) The important instructions for the college's Associate Dean / Principal are available in

„Appendix J‟.

4.17 Admission Cancellation Process :

(a) The candidate who has been allocated with admission through the online admission round,

cancellation facility will be available in such candidate's login during the period mentioned

in the schedule, after attending the concerned college after submission of original documents

and necessary fees.

(b) Candidates will apply for online cancellation and submit a signed copy of the application

form for cancellation of admission to the institution.

(c) After receiving dully signed request application for cancellation of admission from the

candidate, the institute will immediately cancel the admission on-line and will make a

computerized acknowledgment for the cancellation of admission from the college's login and

will give a signed copy to the candidate.

(d) If candidate cancels admission after enrollment of admission and before the class starts, the

cost of admission fees Rs. 1000/-.will be recovered from student by the college.

(e) After enrollment of admission and after the class starts, if the student has cancelled admission

then the semester-based tuition fee per month and the hostel fees per month (if the hostel is

available) will be recovered from the concerned student from the beginning of the classes till

the month in which the admission has been canceled.

(f) The students admitted through admission round after start of classes, if such student have

cancelled his admission after registration then the semester-based tuition fee per month and

the hostel fees per month (if the hostel is available) will be recovered from the concerned

student from the date of registration till the month in which the admission has been canceled.

(7) During the admission process, if a Candidate is not found for any one of the reserved categories

then said seat shall be filled in as per the procedure mentioned in the Government Resolution,

Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department, No. MAD

2010/Pra. No. 155 / 7A dated 20/10/2011. In this GR, the methodology for redistribution of

reserved seats is mentioned. According to this after redistribution, total seats are called as

„Convert to Reserve‟ (CR). For such seats all candidates from reserved category are eligible. If

candidates are not available for seats for „convert to reservation‟, then these seats finally

converted for open category. Such seats are called as „Convert to Open‟ (CO). All candidates

from Maharashtra are eligible for such seats.

The above-mentioned reservations may changed and implemented as per the guiding

principles given by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time.

7. SYSTEM OF EDUCATION :

The State Agricultural Universities have adopted course „Credit System‟ under the

„Semester Pattern‟. In this system each academic year is divided into Two Terms not shorter

than 20 weeks, called as „Semester‟. Subjects to be taught are divided into self contained

units called Courses.

The courses taught in a semester through lectures, practical‟s, library reading, field work,

assignments, etc.

The choice of courses, number of credits to be taken by a student is decided in consultation

with assigned counselor, keeping in view the existing rules and the performance of the

students.

If the performance of a student in a particular course is not up to the mark, he may repeat

the course whenever, it is offered as per the course layout.

The candidates admitted for various degree programme will have to complete Student

READY (Rural and Entrepreneurship Awareness Development Yojana) programme during

VII & VIII semester as per the Vth

Deans Committee Recommendations.

Mode of Implementation:- Experiential Learning/Hands on Training , Skill Development

Training, Rural Agriculture Work Experience, In Plant Training/ Industrial attachment,

Students Projects.

Total 50% marks is compulsory for passing in theory and practical examination however, in

Theory and Practical examination minimum 40% marks in each head is compulsory for the

concern subject.

The maximum period for completion of degree course is 8 years. If the Candidates require

one year extension for serious reason, in this case the academic council of University will

take appropriate decision about extension of this period, after verifying serious reason. In

this case hostel facility will not be allowed for such students.

Academic rules and regulations updated time to time as per requirement. Such updated rules

and regulations will be applicable to registered students.

The rules recommended by the fifth Deans Committee Report of Indian Council of

Agricultural Research shall be applicable to the admitted students.

8. REGISTRATION :

After verification of application form and original certificates by the Associate Dean/

Principal, candidate will be allowed to register and student pays the fee in the office of the

Associate Dean/ Principal of the concerned College.

9. MEDICAL EXAMINATION :

Medical Examination is compulsory for all the students admitted during the first year and

the same should be got done from the Civil Surgeon at the district headquarter / Medical

Officer at the Rural Hospital / Primary Health Centre as directed by the

University/Associate Dean before the end of first semester.

If a student is medically unfit, the Associate Dean will inform the concerned student and his

parent/guardian for rectification of the defects.

If a student is found medically unfit, he is liable to be discontinued from the

University.

Such cases would be reported to the Registrar for taking necessary action.

If a student fails to appear for the Medical Examination arranged by the

University/Associate Dean, concerned student will have to get himself medically examined

from the above medical authority at his own expenses and produce examination report

within the period specified by the college authorities.

In case student fails to produce the medical examination report within the specified

time, his result shall not be declared.

10. STUDENT COUNSELLING :

There will be student counseling at all Colleges for helping the students in their academic as

well as co-curricular activities, so as to build up personality. The counselor (Guardian Professor)

will constantly be in touch with the progress of his/her student.

11. ATTENDANCE :

Every student shall attend all lectures, practical‟s, library work, extension education visits,

study tours and the meetings with professor and concerned teachers.

If a student fails to attend 80% of the total number of lectures, laboratory practical‟s

or field tutorial classes in a course held and deemed to have held during a semester

irrespective of his date of registration, he shall not be eligible to appear for semester

end examination and shall be awarded „F‟ grade.

Such students shall register the course when offered.

12. STUDY TOUR :

Study tours for Undergraduate Courses of all the Colleges are as under, subject to availability

of funds.

(1) Second year Maharashtra State.

(2) Third year South India

(3) Fourth year North India

13. SPORTS AND ALLIED ACTIVITIES :

Facilities for sports and allied activities are available at all the colleges.

14. HOSTEL:

Hostel facility is available in some colleges for limited number of students on merit basis.

Every student admitted to constituent colleges is not necessarily given or promised admission to the

hostel attached to that College.

15. MEDALS, CASH PRIZES AND AWARDS :

The medals, awards and cash prizes are awarded to the meritorious students who top at the

various Degree Examinations as per the University Regulations as approved by the Executive

Council.

16. SCHOLARSHIPS AND CONCESSIONS :

The students who have been admitted against the Reserved Seats in the Constituent and Non

Grant Affiliated Colleges are entitled for Government of India‟s Scholarships,

Free Studentship to the students of Economically Backward Classes,

Government of India Merit-cum-means Scholarship (ICAR) / Government of India Post

matric Scholarship to SC and ST candidate (ICAR), Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

(Government of Maharashtra), etc. are available at various constituent/affiliated colleges

and will be awarded as per rules in vogue.

17. BEHAVIOR AND DISCIPLINE :

(i) The cases of unfair means and the cases of misbehavior will be dealt with as per the Rules

and Regulations of the University in vogue and as amended from time to time.

(ii) In accordance with the provisions made under University Statutes, 1990, a student

while studying in the College if allegedly found involving in the activities like ragging,

bulleying or kidnapping and any other act of indiscipline shall immediately be

suspended from the College as well as the Hostel without any prior notice by the

Principal/ Associate Dean of the College and liable to be expelled from the College by

the Vice-Chancellor on the detailed report of the Director of Instruction of the University,

as per the instructions of the Dy. Director General (Education), ICAR, New Delhi vide

letter No. 6(29)/2007-A. and P., dt. 18/1/2008 regarding the directives issued by the

Hon‟ble Supreme Court of India on Special Leave to appeal (C) [24295 & 24296-99 of

2004] vide judgment dt. 10/12/2007 and also vide letter No.AGU-2009/pra.kra.58/7-A,

Dt.06/05/2009 from Dept.of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and

Fisheries, Mantralaya, Mumbai.

(iii) Student shall abide by the rules & regulations enforced and approved by the Maharashtra

Council of Agriculture Education and Research.

(iv) Any kind of indiscipline and misbehavior amounting to ragging activities is an

offence punishable under the provisions of Anti Ragging Act,1999.

APPENDIX „E‟

'Important Instructions to Candidates '

(1) Before filling up the application form candidate shall check the 'Application

Flow Chart‟ of admission process available on

maha-agriadmission.in website.

(2) Online application form should be filled carefully on the basis of original

documents. Admission allotment will be cancelled if variation in information

noticed.

(3) Understand properly the admission schedule given at Point No. 19 in the

prospectus.

(4) Candidate is required to fill up personal and academic information in the online

application form which is available on websites maha-agriadmission.in.

(5) After filling the application form on the website, the candidate should scan his /

her signature, his / her passport-sized photograph and original copies of all the

necessary documents and upload them on the website. If a document is scanned

in the authorized centres of M/S. KTPL, Pune then a fee of Rs.5/- will be charged

for it. A list of such authorized centres is available on the website.

(6) The scanned and uploaded documents should be readable; upload the documents

only after ensuring this. If the uploaded documents are not readable then they

shall not be considered as valid and the responsibility of the same shall

completely be with the candidate.

(7) The Candidate should scan and upload Passport size photograph on online

application form.

(8) Press the submit button after confirming the information in the application form

is correct, the original documents are uploaded and admission fee is paid. The

candidate should take note that, once the application form is submitted, no

changes and corrections will be made in the application form.

(9) (a) After publication of the 'Provisional Merit List', every candidate shall check

online and confirm whether his/her Name, Category, Marks, Weightages etc.

are correct or otherwise.

(b) In case of any discrepancies, the candidate shall send the required

certificates /scanned copy as proof within the prescribed time limit by using

his/her „Log in ID' & 'Password'.

(10) (a) Every candidate shall peruse the 'Admission List' on the dates as per the time

table of admission.

(b) The candidate whose name appears in the Allotment List' shall collect

the „Provisional Allotment Letter‟ through his/her log in. (11) The candidate who has allotted college & has desire to confirm their admission

such candidate will have to follow procedure given in this prospectus at point

No 4.13 to secure admission.

(12) After completion of all online admission rounds, candidates securing allotment

will have to report Concern College to submit original documents and pay fees as

per predetermined time table. Candidates having fee reimbursement from

government should not have to pay the fees.

(13) If the Candidate is hospitalized and unable to attend the allotted College to take

admission, personally during the scheduled time period. In such case, the

Candidate shall get his/her admission in his/her absentia if the Candidate

authorizes the person to take the admission. The authorised person is advised to

produce provisional allotment letter, medical certificate along with all the original

documents, fees and authority letter while attending the College. Prescribed

format of the authority Letter is given in Appendix „I‟. This provision will be

also applicable for candidate, who is admitted in hospital during the spot round.

(14) (a) If the Candidate desires to cancel his admission after registration he/she has to

submit the request application addressed to the Associate Dean / Principal.

(b) In such case, the Candidates are advised to collect the fees as per

“Sr. No 4.17 Cancellation of Admission” given in Prospectus and all original

documents from respective College/Institute

(15) The candidate desires to donate his/her body parts after his/her death has to fill up

the body parts donation form given in Appendix „L‟.

(16) As per the G.R. No. ºÉÆEòÒhÉÇ-1517/|É.Gò.185/6-A, dt.5/6/2017 the Candidate

admitted to the Undergraduate courses and whose name had not been included in

the voters list are required to submit the undertaking and fill in the form No. 6, 7 ,

8 and 8-A at the time of admission and submit to the respective college at the

time of admission.

APPENDIX „H‟

Procedure for „Spot Admission Round‟

The „Spot Admission Round‟ will be implemented by following the below mentioned

procedure during 26th

to 29th

August, 2019 in the Spot Admission Process Center for the available

vacant seats due to such Candidate who have not reported / registered even after receipt of

Provisional Allotment Letter.

The details regarding the category wise last merit and up to date category wise vacant

positions available during the every earlier admission round will be displayed by KTPL, Pune on

the website on 24th

of August, 2019.

The name of candidates appeared in the State/University merit list but not admitted during

the current academic year for the any degree course are eligible for the „Spot Admission

Round‟. The eligible candidate and Spot Admission Process Center is advised to consider the

following points for the „Spot Admission Round‟.

(1) Spot admission round will be conducted only at Spot Admission Process Center. The spot

admission round not conducted at non aided colleges. The details regarding the Spot

Admission Process Center are mentioned in Appendix “G”.

(2) The candidates are instructed to observe the available vacant seats displayed on the websites

and report personally to the Spot Admission Process Center related to concern College along

with all necessary original documents and prescribed fees between 9.00 hrs to 11.30 hrs

during 26th

to 29th

August, 2019. Admission process will be conducted at Spot Admission

Process Center as per following merit-

(3) „Spot Admission Process Centers‟ should register the names of students who report at the

center between 9.00 am to 11.30 am in the online software system. KTPL, Pune will generate

a merit list of these registered students by 1.30 pm for the concern center. There will be a

separate merit list for each day of „Spot Admission Process‟. This merit list will be valid only

for the day on which it is generated.

(4) After considering the above merit list of eligible candidate, operate the admission process

for the available vacant seats. The Associate Dean / Principal shall note that, the seats

reserved for the reserved category shall be filled in from the reserved category

candidates only. If it is noticed that the candidate from the reserved category is not available

then as per guidelines given in Appendix 2 „Admission Process‟ in the Government

Resolution of Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and

Fisheries Department No. ¨ÉEÞòÊ´É-2010/|É.Gò.155/7+ä, dated 20/10/2011 the available vacant

seats should be filled in on Merit from the other eligible and reported candidates on the last

day of the „Spot Admission Round‟ i.e. 29.08.2019 only. However Spot Admission Process

Center must take care not to give any chance to register any grievance/complaint by the

candidate from the reserved category under any circumstances that he/she did not get

admission on the vacant seat reserved for that reserved category.

(5) After confirming the selection of the suitable candidate for admission, the admission shall be

given to that Candidate and the same shall be reported „online‟ by operating the website of

KTPL, Pune. The KTPL, Pune is responsible for creating the facility in the log-in of the

respective Spot Admission Process Center.

(6) Spot Admission Process Center must furnish the information of admitted candidate by email

to the Director (Education), MCAER, Pune and KTPL, Pune every day immediately after

completion of process.

(7) The Provisional admission allotment letter will be issued to Candidate from Spot Admission

Process Center, if selected through the spot round.

(8) One representative from the each College has to remain present at respective Spot

Admission Process Center during the spot round schedule. These representatives of

Colleges will have to collect necessary documents and fees as per rule from students

admitted in their college.

(9) The vacant seat(s) created due to cancellation of admission by the candidate or any other

reason during spot admission round should be displayed on the website at the same time and

day. However it should be made available for admission and filled only on the next day. (On

the last day of spot admission round the aforesaid point is not applicable)

(10) College will deposit “Admission Acceptance Fee” of Rs. 1000/- per candidate within two

days after completion of spot round in SBI account no. 37718391008, SBIN0000300 in the

name of “State CET Cell (AGRI), M.S., Mumbai” and the same will be communicated to

Maharashtra counsel through letter with a copy of receipt.

APPENDIX „J‟

'Important Instructions to Associate Dean / Principal regarding Admission process'

(1) The original documents regarding candidate's category, marks, Transfer Certificate

/Leaving certificate etc. shall be checked thoroughly by ensuring last date of admission

noted on provisional allotment letter. After confirmation of documents, the may be

confirmed on website and original documents will be returned to the candidate by

keeping Xerox copies of the same.

(2) Similarly, according to information in admission form verify concerned original

documents. If information found incorrect, the same will noted college login.

Accordingly, other information in admission form can also be updated.

(3) If the Candidates fails to produce/submit required document(s) on which he gets

admission, admission to such candidate will be rejected and the same will be noted on

college login along with ground for rejection.

(4) If the candidate desires to cancel his admission after registration the procedure

mentioned in the prospectus at point No.4.16 shall be adopted and immediately upload

the information regarding cancellation of admission through college 'log in' and by e-

mail to the KTPL.

(5) If the Candidate is hospitalized and can‟t move to attend the allotted College to take

admission, personally during the scheduled time period. In such case admission to such

candidate is allowed if the authorized person produced allotment letter of that Candidate,

medical certificate along with all the necessary original documents, fees and authority

letter at the time of admission. This condition will be also applicable if candidate is

admitted in hospital during the spot round.

(6) The student desires to donate his/her body parts after his/her death and if body parts

donation form is given in Appendix „L‟. College has to mention “Donor of Body Parts”

on his/her ID Card.

(7) The Candidate whose name had not been included in the voters list, undertaking

from such candidate will be taken along with Form No. 6, 7, 8 and 8-A for

including their name in voter list and take action as per circular, Department of

Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Dairy Science and Fisheries No. ºÉÆEòÒhÉÇ- 1517 /

|É.Gò.185 / 6-+ä, dt.5/6/2017

(8) After the completion of all online admission rounds, the candidates securing admission

are need to remain present at concern college in-person along with original documents

and required fees within stipulated time period given in admission schedule. During this

period, original documents and required educational fees should be collected from the

candidate. Receipt of collected fees should be given to the candidate. Such a fees should

not be collected from the candidates which is reimbursed from government. (9) The Associate Dean/Principal has to update the information regarding

admission/rejection and cancellation of the candidate(s) upto a period of continuously

five months from the commencement of first round of admission by using log-in ID and

password.

(10) After completion of Admission process, every aided, Govt. Aided and unaided private

professional colleges has to follow time to time instructions given by Admission

regulatory Authority for approval of candidates admissions.

(11) The hostel fees only be collected from students availing hostels facility.
