EXPERIENCE
LemonlyGraphic Design Intern, 2016
A three-month summer internship at a small design agency that
tells giant stories. Created several infographics, microcontent, gifs,
annual reports and responsible for the Snapchat story.
Children’s Museum of South DakotaGraphic Design Intern, 2015
A firsthand experience of being an in-house designer. My goal was
to enhance the museum experience and to draw in more visitors
through awesome visuals. I was responsible for most of the graphic
design in the museum and worked with my supervisors to refresh
the graphic standards in the museum for years to come. I learned
how to create design that is consistent through different mediums.
The Great 48Cyclist, Designer, Public Speaker, 2014
The Great 48 was a team effort envisioned by four of my ambitious
friends and me. We biked to each of the 48 continental states
to raise money to build a technical school for an orphanage in
Honduras. Every day was filled with new challenges, new people,
and new places. The constant mobility required us all to think
on our feet to overcome obstacles and represent something more
than ourselves. The biking effort took five and a half months to
complete, but almost the same amount of time to plan before hand.
We had to pick out our strengths as individuals and use them to
work efficiently as a team. I was responsible for the graphic and
visual identity, media relations, purchasing gear, public speaking,
and various other duties along the way.
We raised more than $60,000www.thegreat48.us
