The school encourages parents to report offenders immediately to Ku‐ring‐gai Council. This can be done by telephone or by sending a photo of the illegal act. Traffic Rangers regularly patrol the streets in the vicinity of the school. Fines imposed are usually in the vicinity of $300/$400. Parents are advised that they are not permi ed to use the staff carpark.

At the end of Term 1 you will receive a copy of the Annual Report for 2018 which contains a comprehensive overview of the school’s ac vi es/programs for 2018. However prior to the publica on of the Annual Report more specifically we would like to report on the results of our Strategic Direc ons for 2018.

Please find enclosed in the Bulle n a detailed summary of the Gordon West School Plan/ Strategic Direc ons for 2018 the formula on of which involved considerable parent consulta on. Although this plan has already been evaluated against the School Excellence Framework and modified in certain areas it provides parents with a comprehensive overview as to our achievements in 2018. Later in the term the modified School Plan for 2019
