Guidelines:

1. Only the theme song will be allowed.

2. Teachers will not be allowed to perform with the students.

3. The host school will not provide any musical instrument(s). The

participating school will bring its own instrument(s ), including the

Guitar Amp for Guitars.

4. The drums will also not be provided by the host school.

5. Only live Band performance will be permitted.

6. Keyboard sampling or Sequencing will not be allowed.

7. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

MEET MUSIC (A Choir Presentation)

No. of Participants per school: 01

Rules & Regulations:

Only one participant per school is allowed. The student will have to perform an Indian Classical Dance. The time limit for each participant is 3 – 4 minutes. The CD of the music/ song on which the participant will be

performing, should be submitted to the host school, latest by Monday, August 01, 2016.

The costume of the participants should be appropriate and in accordance with the dance to be performed.

The participants will be judged on the following criterion: Introduction Costume and makeup Choreography Projection Execution of Movements Over all Presentation

The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Venue: Room No : 221

Class: IX

Time Duration: 1 hour

No. of participants: 02

Instructions:

Each participating school may send a team of two students.

Participants have to prepare a dish without using fire.

Pre boiled / pre baked raw materials can be used.

Students to prepare only vegetarian dishes.

Each team to put up a Menu Card and Recipe along with the

nutritional value of the dish.

Judgment Criteria: Creativity, Taste, Nutritional value, overall

presentation

Venue: Senior Computer Lab

Classes: IX – X

No. of participants per team: 02


Each participating school may send a team comprising of two students .

The given project to be completed within one and half hours only.

The topic and the contents for website will be provided to the students

on – the – spot.

The use of personal computers / laptops not allowed during the

competition.

No flash drives , CD and written matter should be brought to the

competition venue.

The participants will be judged on the basis of subject matter, use of

animation and graphics and overall presentation.

The participants will showcase their website to the judges and answer

the queries of the judges, related to the same.

The use of any template making wizard, built-in template, or any other

template type from the Internet or any other source is strictly

forbidden. Teams found indulging in the same will be disqualified.

The teams will perform an Indian Folk Dance.

The time limit is 4 – 5 minutes for each team.

2016.

The participants to dress up in appropriate costume,s in accordance

with the performance.

Only two props are allowed.

Participant needs to be dressed according to the theme.

The ‘news show’ could be presented on any topic.

The participants will be judged on the following criteria:

Confidence , Voice modulation, Content, and Costume & Props.

No. of Participants per School : Two teams are allowed, one boys’ and one

girls’. 01 (Singing) + 01 (table player) + 01 (harmonium player)


1. Film songs based on ragas are not allowed.

2. The competition will be held under two categories, the boys’ and the girls’.

3. Each participating team may send a maximum of one team per category.

4. While one student will sing the song, the other two students will be

allowed to play the instruments that they would carry.

5. The host school will not provide any electronic Tanpura or Tabla.

6. Only Tabla and Harmonium are allowed.

7. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

same would be ‘Nature’. The participants will be required to decorate the

same.

General instructions:

The duly filled registration form with complete names of the

participants must reach, either by hard copy or through e-mail at

[email protected] , latest by Monday, August 01,

2016.

Spot entries will not be entertained.

The participants come dressed in white uniform, without any school

logo.

Carrying of the I card is a must.

The reporting time for all the events is 8.30 am, sharp.

The registration of the teams will be done from 8.15 am to 8.45 am.

No late entries will be entertained.

The entries once sent and verified, will not be changed, under any

circumstances.

A maximum of two teachers can accompany the participating students.

The participants will not disclose the name of their school at any given

point of time during the competition.

Though the host school will be participating in the events, but will not

claim any prize/ position.

In the case of the host school winning any prize/ position, it will be

passed on the next eligible school/ participant.


To become eligible for the Rolling Trophy, the school has to participate

in all the events.

The school winning the Rolling Trophy will return it back to the host

school by Dec. 31, 2016
