Google's Organizational Culture
Google had an informal work culture at Googleplex
Google is a fun place to work. Googlers were allowed to bring their pets in to the workplace
They are provided with free snacks, lunch and dinner prepared by a celebrity chef Charlie Ayers.
The Googleplex had snack rooms offering Googlers cereals, gummy bears, cashew nuts and other snacks along with fruit juices, soda and cappuccino.

from day zero in them Any employee in Google can fix a meeting with any other
employee be it CEO of company Google asks its employees to spend 20% of their time on
activities they are passionate about- this increases interest and hence productivity of employees
“Peer Bonus Program”- employees can nominate their employees for getting bonus to help them accomplish their goals
Ctd…“G2G Program” – Googlers teaching Googlers. More than 200 courses were offered
Googlers developing “G2GT” – includes short videos on sales, working smarter, health and fitness etc.
“Gwhiz” – Mentoring program by Google. Googlers can register themselves and use their expertise in solving problems and helping others
“Job Shadowing” – Googlers spend some time observing others doing their job.
“Expert Talk Series” – Googlers float their ideas and get expert advice widening their horizons
ConclusionGoogle is a fun place to work for and in… This breaks work monotony
Huge number of services provided @ workplace – consistently keeps up high interest of employees
Peer learning – a better way to learn than supervising
Open and fun working culture helps employee to concentrate more and work on maximum of their productivity.
