Activate 2 step Account Verification

Google has recently launched two step account verification.

Step 1 (2-step verification)

Step 1 is a quick guide about How to setup 2-step Verification.

Simply read and click the button Set up 2-step verification

Step 2 (Setup your Phone)

In this step you will be ask to select your country and Phone Number

You have two options to verify your phone: either by Voice Message or by SMS

Step 2 (Setup your Phone)

After entering your contact details hit Send code botton.

You will recieve call or SMS soon.

Enter the 6 digit code and click Next

Step 3 (Time for backup plan)

In this step google will ask you to save ten 8 digit code provided as Backup verification codes

Print or Note down the codes and keep in vault.

Check the box and click Next

Step 4 (Assign backup number)

In this step you will be asked to add another number for backup.

Process is same as Step-2.

Step 5 (You are done!)

You have successfully activated your 2-step Account verification.

But one thing remains??

Probably you have allows some application to access Google account or you have used your google account as Open-Id!

If yes, One thing remains!!

Step 6 (Application specific password)

Hit the Next Botton

Step 7 (Time to create password for you applications)

Create passwords for your Applications!

Step 8 (Application specific Pwd.)

In this step you will asked to save Application Specific Passwords.

Save them to get access.

Step 9 (There is no such thing)

Hurrey! You have did this.

Now enable 2-step Verification

You will be asked at the time of login.

You may grant access to your PC for 30 days (Same as Remember Password
