COMMUNITY POLICING ACTIVITIES:- (I) TRAFFIC AWARENESS:- The 26 th Annual road safety week was held from 16th

January 2015 under Balurghat & Banshihari PS area. During this programme students from different school participated. Traffic related Quiz contest, Rally, Art competition, Placard competition were organized during the week.

(II) On 16/01/15 26th Annual National Road safety week held at Kumarganj PS at Gopalganj

R. N High School to make the School children, aware about the traffic safety rules. This programme also includes Quiz Competition.

(III) On 19/01/15 an awareness Camp among the Panchayat Prodhans and members of Panchayat Samity was organized at Kumarganj PS regarding atrocities to SC/ST people and the protection given to them by Schedule Cast & Schedule Tride (Prevention of Attrocities) Act-1989.

(IV) Child Marriage Prevention :- During the year 2015, 18 child marriages were

successfully prevented jointly with Childline, D. Dinajpur and Banshihari Police Administration.

(V) Child Awareness Programme:- On 24.03.15 a Child Awareness Program was orgarnized at Banshiahri Girls High School with Child Line, D. Dinajpur on 06.09.15 and the program was organized at Block level with Chidlline, Block and Banshihari Police Administration

(VI) On 23/01/15 the Kumarganj PS organized celebration of 118th Birth Day of Nataji

Subhas Chandra Bose at Kumarganj PS premises.

(VII) On 14/04/15 the Kumarganj PS organized celebration of 124th Birth Day of Dr. B.R Ambedkar at Kumarganj PS premises.

(VIII) On 15/08/15 on the “Independence Day” Kumarganj PS also organized “Swachya

Bharat Abhijan” which includes cleanliness of PS premises including Barrak and PS building.

(XI) On 05/06/15 in view of “World Environment Day” Kumarganj PS organized Trees plantation at 10th Mile More under Kumarganj PS and at Kumarganj PS Compound.

(X) INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUGS ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING

was organized by the District Police ON 26TH JUNE 2015 involving school students and civilians of various walks of the society.

(XI) On 13/10/15 one Maya Hembram (65 yrs) was physically assaulted by tribal people of

Village. Tara resulting death of her in Balurghat Hospital on same day. This refers to Kumarganj P S Case no- 199/15 dt- 13/10/15 u/s 302/34 IPC. IO. SK. R. Noor Nabi. On 14/10/15 and awareness programme has been organized at village Tara regarding superstition (Witch) among tribal people in this regard in presence BDO Kumarganj, NGOs, Local Panchayat body etc.

(XII) DISTRIBUTION OF BLANKET AMONG POOR PEOPLE: On 14/11/15 In view of Kali

Puja Festival a distribution of blanket among poor people, a cultural Adibashi dance Competition in which 96 groups from various parts of districts participated, Appreciation Certificates were issued to the participants.

(XIII) SHEET BASTRA BITARANI PROGRAM: At Kushmani on 29/01/2015 (Thursday) held Sheet Bastra Bitarani Program among the poor people of Kushmandi PS jurisdiction by Kushmandi Police Station.

(XIV) POLICE ASSISTANCE BOOTH were setup on 21.06.2015 and Jamar on 23.07.2015 respectively at all the Police in this district. This programme was organized for good public Police relationship, awareness regarding Child labour, child marriage, etc. The villagers actively took part and reported their problems and grievances which were later brought to the notice of concerned department.

Sports at Police Lines Balurghat:

(XVII) A football match has organized at Balurghat Police Lines on 18.01.2015 among Dakshin Dinajpur District Police and Dakshin Dinajpur District Police family members.

(XVIII) Inter Malda Range Football Tournament has been organized by D/Dinajpur district on 05.09.2015 and 06.09.2015. District Dakshin Dinajpur has won the trophy of Championship.

(XIX) Inter Malda Range Vollyball Tournament has been organized by Uttar Dinajpur district on 23.09.2015. District Dakshin Dinajpur has won the trophy of Championship. Other than the outdoor games there is a setup of table tennis & carom at Balurghat Police Lines which are being played by our head quarter force regularly.

UTKARSHA BARDHAK KRIRA PRATIJOGITYA At Banshihari Police Station :

On the complaint of SI Kunal Kanti Das of Gangarampur PS against the accused Paresh Rabidas @ Habal s/o Late Ganga Rabidas of Kadihat Kalitala, Ward No 2, PS Gangarampur that pursuant to an anonymous information, he alongwith other staff of Gangarampur P.S. went to to Kadihat Kalitala. He found that one Paresh Rabidas @ Habal s/o Late Ganga Rabidas of Kadihat Kalitala, Ward No 2, PS Gangarampur and some local villagers were engaged in an altercation as the accused Paresh Rabidas @ Habal was hiding something suspicious with him, which the local people wanted to see. The local people had also manhandled him and thus he had sustained some bodily injuries. After a search, SI Kunal Kanti Das recovered one improvised serviceable pistol with 05 rounds of 0.22 ammunitions loaded in a magazine that he was hiding and for which he did not have any valid license or documents or authority.

On the complaint of SI Matiur Rahaman of Gangarampur PS, Dist. D/Dinajpur against Nur Islam @ Babu, (24) S/O Yasin Ali of Chalon PS Gangarampur Dist. D/Dinajpur to the effect that on 7/11/15 evening, acting on a tip off, the complainant along with other force of Gangarampur PS arrested the accused person and recovered one country made improvised firearms along with two rounds live ammunitions from his possession. On the complaint of ASI MD Firoj of Gangarampur PS against the accused Nur Islam @ Babu (22) S/O- Yasin Ali of Chaloon and 05 others all of PS Gangarampur Dist.- D/Dinajpur that on 11.7.15 at 22.45 hrs the complainant accompanied by other staffs acting on a tip off, held raid at Damdama, Gochiar, P.S. Gangarampur and arrested the above noted accused persons while some others fled away. The miscreants assembled at the above place with a view to commit decoity. The complainant seized one fire Arms [ one shutter and one round .303 ammunition ] and other deadly weapons from the possession of arrested accused persons.

On the complaint of SI Subhash Ch. on the complaint of SI Krishna Bera of Balurghat PS, Dakshin Dinajpur against the accused (1) Saumya Kanti Guha (33) S/o Subhas Guha of Rathtala Chakbhabani Old State Bank para, (2) Jahar Majumder (30) S/o Tarun Majumder of Forest Road Raghunathpur both of PS Balurghat Dist Dakshin Dinajpur that on 3.2.15 at about 20.45 hrs in pursuance of a secret information, the complainant alongwith other staff in presence of I.C.,Balurghat P.S. held raid at Mongalpur Jail gate More, P.S. Balurghat and apprehended the two miscreants who were riding a motor cycle. 200 bottles of PHENSEDYL containing 100 ML Chlorpheniramine Meleate & Codeine Phosphate Cough Linctus PHENSEDYL from the two accused persons. The motor cycle bearing no. WB 62-B/2452 was also seized.

9 Balurghat PS Case No- 76/15 dated: 10/02/15 U/S 411/414 IPC

On the complaint of SI Utpal Chatterjee at Patiram OP, PS Balurghat against Tutul Singha (28) S/O Jagadish Singha of Gopal Nagar, Golapganj, PS Kaliachak Dist. Malda and 02 others that on 10.02.15 at 15.45 hrs, acting on a tip off the complainant along with force of Patiram OP arrested the accused person and recovered a motorcycle (Apachi TVS Company RTR 160) at Mahola More under Balurghat PS. On interrogation, the accused person could not produce any documents in respect of said motorcycle and also stated that he along with his associate namely Monirul Islam @ Kochibur stole the said motorcycle from Malda and he was proceeding to Hili to hand over the same to one Mithu Singh of Hili for disposing the same to Bangladesh.

On the complaint of Biren Barman S/O Lt. Baidyanath Barman of Dakshin Chakbhabani, PS- Balurghat, Dist- Dakshin Dinajpur that on 18/02/15 in between 10:15 and 03:45 hrs the complainant and other family members were not present in the house.At that time some unknown miscreants enterned into the house of the complainant and stole away some gold ornaments and cash Rs. seven thousand from the house.

On the complaint of Inspector Kedar Singh, Coy Commander, “E” Coy, 82 Bn, BSF, BOP Dangi, under Balurghat PS Dist Dakshin Dinajpur against Azijul Ali (27) S/O Hussain Ali of Naugam PO Kamdebbati PS Tapan Dist Dakshin Dinajpur and 01 other that on 22.02.2015 at about 17.30 hrs the complainant along with other BSF personnel of Dangi BOP held raid in the house of one Gour Datta and recovered 1050 bottles of phensedyl (100 ML each) and 06 nos. of big size buffalo and apprehended one Indian national named Azijul Ali.

12 Balurghat PS Case No- 118/15 dated: 24/02/15 U/S 489B IPC

On 18.02.2015 at about 17.30 hrs the MCP party searched a Gangarampur bound bus bearing registration No. WB-61/1718 (Sushila Radhe Radhe Travels) and found a card board box covered with local Bengali news paper and tied with a plastic rope. The BSF party recovered 19 bundles of US Dollars 1,84,200 (1842 bills in the denomination of 100 dollars) (Value in INR 1,14,77,218 approx) and 44 notes of Nepali currency having face value of 22,000 ( Value in INR13,742 approx) total face value of seizure is approx Rs.1,14,90,960/- approx. The BSF party enquired about the owner of the card board box but nobody in the bus claimed the item. The Custom Officials were approached to handover the seized US Dollar and Nepali Currency, but they took two days to verify the originality of the USD and Nepali Rupees. On 21.02.2015 the Custom Official denied to receive the currencies citing the reason that the seized currencies seems to be Fake

13 Balurghat PS Case No- 136/15 dated: 03/03/15 U/S 411/414 IPC R/W Sec. 18B/27/28 of Drugs & Cosmetic Act 1940

On the complaint of ASI Jayanta Jha of Balurghat P.S. against Soumesh Sarkar S/o Not known of S.N Road Shib Mandir, Kadamtola Darjeeling 734011 that on 08.01.2015 at around 23.30 hrs the complainant along with other force of Patiram OP recovered one Maruti Omni Van bearing registration No. WB-74-AD/9390, Chassis No. MA3EVB11501522536 and Engine No. F8BIN4716629 along with 22 packets of phensedyl cough linctuses, each packet contains 100 bottles of 100 ML each.. Meanwhile the complainant obtained the particulars of the recovered vehicle from RTO Dakshin Dinajpur and ARTO Siliguri. As per permission of Ld. CJM Balurghat Court the complainant lodged the FIR against the above noted registered owner of the vehicle and his associates. The complainant alleged that the accused person might have involved in smuggling racket of phesedyl Bangladesh and on the night of 07/08.01.2015 he could smuggle the phensedyl

14 Balurghat PS Case No- 185/15 dated: 22/03/15 U/S 25(i)(a)/27 Arms Act

On the complaint of ASI Jugal Deb of Balurghat PS against the accused 1) Rahul Roy (20) S/O Badal Roy of Ananda bagan & one other that on 22.03.2015 the complainant and force were performing night mobile duty at Bus stand side he received phone call from I/C Balurghat PS at 22:20 hrs who received source information from his reliable source that Patla and Rahul Roy are assembled at Bingsha Satabadi Club back side of the Temple with Arms & Ammunition for illegal purpose. He proceeded to Bingsha Satabadi Club without delay to work out the information. After reaching near Bingsha Satabadi field at 22:45 hrs, he kept the Govt. vehicle bearing no-WB62/7358 at considerable distance and proceeded towards Bingsha Satabadi Club back side of the Temple with local witnesses where he noticed that two persons are gossiping, knowing the presence of police party they tried to flee away but police team managed to apprehend them. On interrogation they disclosed their name and address as noted above. During search in presence of witnesses he found one iron made improvised fire arms having butt, barrel and body with trigger system measuring about 09 inch approx, loaded with one number of .303 ammunition appears to be live from the exclusive possession of Rahul Roy which was kept left side of his waist under the cover of shirt and one number of 8 MM ammunition appears to be live exclusive possession of Pankaj Sarkar @ Patla which was kept into his right pocket of pant. On demand they failed to produce any valid documents in respect of possessing said arms and ammunition and it is believed that they have possessed the recovered arms and ammunition for illegal purpose. Accordingly he seized the recovered Arms and Ammunitions from their possession under proper seizure list in presence of witnesses and arrested both the accused persons

On the complaint of SI Patrick Kerketta of Balurghat PS against (i) Dilip Mahato (32)S/O Swapan Mahato of Kaigram Mahato Para & others that on 25.03.15 at 21.05 hrs, acting on a tip off, the complainant along with other officer and force of Balurghat PS reached at Harishira Marakuri on State Highway in between Patiram and Thakurpura village and found that 8/9 persons were gossiping between them in low voice with two big size old and used plastic bag. On seeing the police they tried to flee away but the police managed to apprehended five miscreants others fled away from their possession two bottles two liter capacity plastic container containing some liquid substance suspected to be Codeine mixture was recovered from the two white colour plastic bag also recovered 100 bottles of Phensedyl in each bag i.e. total 200 bottles of Phencedyl and one black colour Motorcycle were recovered. On presence of Smt Israt Jahan Alima Rahaman, Dy.S.P (HQ) Dakshin Dinajpur the articles were seized and leveled.

On the complaint of ASI Sanjib Bhadra of Balurghat PS against Biswajit Mondal (28) @ Fantu S/O Late Narayan Chandra Mondal of vill- Hossainpur Sannas Colony, PO Beltala Park, PS- Balurghat, Dist- Dakshin Dinajpur that on 29.05.2015 at 20.45 hrs, acting on a tip off, the complainant along with other force of Balurghat PS apprehended the accused person at State Bus Stand, PS Balurghat from whose possession one iron made improvised fire arms loaded with two rounds of .38 ammunitions was recovered. On demand, he failed to produce any valid documents for possessing of the arms and ammunition.

On the complaint of SI Nikhil Chandra Mondal of Balurghat PS against the accused 1) Probir Mondal (30) S/O Late Khitish Mondal of Potiram Kadamtali PS- Balurghat, Dist- Dakshin Dinajpur that SI Nikhil Chandra Mondal of Balurghat PS was performing evening raid duty at Balurghat area with officers and force. Acting on a tip off, the police party after reaching near Patiram Kadamtali at 20.45 hrs apprehended the accd person. During search in presence of witnesses recovered one iron made improvised fire arms loaded with one round of ammunitions from the exclusive possession of Probir Mondal which was kept of his waist under the cover of shirt.

Dakshin Dinajpur against Owner of vehicle bearing registration No. WB-62D/3831 named Gobin Khatik, S/O Shankar Khatic and the driver named Kailash Khatik S/O Shankar Khatik both of village Purba Ray Nagar, PS Hili, Dist. Dakshin Dinajpur that on 22.07.15 at about 17.10 hrs the complainant and other BSF personnel after chase seized the vehicle and recovered 2000 bottles of Phensedyle from the vehicle (Maruti Suzoki Omni E) at Akhira, PS Balurghat.

on the complaint of SI Patrick Kerketta of Balurghat PS against the accused (i) Swapan Sarkar (45) S/o Ashutosh Sarkar of Madhabpur, Bagan Battala, PS Kaliyaganj, Dist. Uttar Dinajpur at present address of Patiram Dakshinpara, PS Balurghat, Dist. Dakshin Dinajpur to the effect that acting on a tip off, the complainant alongwith other police personnel on 14.08.15 at 20.25 hrs intercepted the accused at Patiram Tinkona More, P.S. Balurghat and recovered 2kg 225 gram from his possession. On further interrogation of the accused person disclosed that the actual masterminds of the illegal drug business are 1) Baidya Karmakar of Patiram Dakshinpara, PS Balurghat, Dist- D/Dinajpur 2) Ratan Chowhan of Gobindapur, Chowhanpara, under PS Kumarganj, Dist Dakshin Dinajpur who invest money and operate the illegal business and the arrested accused person as noted above work for them.

On the complaint of SI Chandan Kr. Das, In-charge Patiram OP, PS Balurghat against the driver of the vehicle ,the owner of the vehicle and accused Manik Saha (42) S/O Surja Kanta Saha of Bhodang Para to the effect that on 04/09/15 at 20:10 hrs one vehicle having registration no. WB62D/0520 (Bolero) dashed one Paresh Oraw S/O Lt. Litu Oraw of Bamnahar Thakurpura, PS- Balurghat, D/Dnj and capsized in the Nayanjali beside Patiram-Hili state highway at village Thakurpura causing Paresh Oraw received grievous injury. At about 20.40 hrs the complainant along with other force of Patiram OP had been to Thakurpura to work out the information . There the complainant found some cartoons containing Phensedyl kept inside the vehicle. Local people detained the accused who was boarding in the vehicle. The accused failed to produce any valid documents in support of phensedyl. During preliminary interrogation the above noted accused disclosed that he himself used to carry phensedyl in unauthorized manner for the purpose of smuggling in Bangladesh via Hili border with the help of the driver. During night mobile duty at Muraripur area along with force and received information that one BOLERO vehicle having registration no. WB 62A/5287 was crossing with high speed and recklessly at Teor Bazar from Balurghat side. As per information mobile party left for Teor to work out the information. On the way of Teor near Teor Asram more, they found the said vehicle. Seeing the police vehicle the offending vehicle driver was fled away left his vehicle. On reaching and contacted with the local people and thoroughly search the said vehicle and found partly damage condition of the said vehicle and also found 40 nos. packets of cumin in the bonnet of vehicle which was kept dishonestly and concealing illegally for the purpose of smuggling to Bangladesh.

Maldat o the effect that both accused were caught red handed on 30/04/15 while breaking lock of Motor Cycle No- WB-62A/5612 both were arrested Vide B/Hari PS case No. 60/15 dt. 30/04/15 U/S 379/411 IPC and remanded to PC. During interrogation the accused confessed that both came to Daulatpur in connivance with accused (i) Jibon Roy of Dittol Hat (ii) Prodip Roy of Rajapur planned for dacoity for which Jibon Roy assured to support man power. On the date (30./04/15) during bandh by opposition parties the bank was supposed to be vacate. But owing to armed police petrol and guard the plan of dacoity was cancelled and they kept concealed the arms with ammunition in under construction building of the bank for future commission of crime. During interrogation they confessed that they had kept on improvised arms loaded with ammunition at the bank premises and took police to the spot and being shown one improvised PIPE GUN loaded with .303 ammunition was recovered & seized as shown by both the accused and labeled as per seizure list.

D/Dinajpur against 03 unknown miscreants to the effect that on 09.08.15 around 20.00 hrs unknown miscreants stole the motorcycle of the complainant styled Hero Honda Glamour (Black) bearing Registration No. WB66L/4183 from Harirampur Masjidmore, PS Harirampur.

On 19.11.2015 Upa-Pradhan of Rampara Chechra Gram Panchayet was murdered brutally and the dead body was lying in a pool of blood in Jormul Sashan Ghat. S.P., Dakshin Dinajpur was kind to endorse the case to Shri. Promod Ranjan Barman, Circle Inspector, Sadar, Balurghat and formed a Special Investigation team leaded by Shri. Amit Paul, Dy.S.P., D&T, Dakshin Dinajpur.

15 Tapan PS Case No.192/15 dated 22/06/2015 U/S 302 IPC

On 22/06/2015 at about 05.30 hrs the cousin sister of the complainant namely Sumana Parvin, aged about 14 years, D/o Abdul Hamid Sarkar left her house to attend her private tuition class at same Village. Later he received information that one male and one female dead body were lying in front of the house of one Ismail Mondal of same locality. Accordingly he along with others rushed to the spot and found that his cousin sister Sumana Parvin and Mamud Sarkar were lying dead side by side with throat cut injury in a pool of blood. The accused Mamud Sarkar used to give proposal for marriage to his cousin sister. But the cousin sister of the complainant denied marrying him. Being refused, the accused Mamud Sarkar murdered Sumana Parvin by cutting his throat with a knife and subsequently he himself committed suicide by cutting his throat.

16 Kumarganj PS Case No 102/15 dated 20/05/15 u/s 302/34 IPC

On 20/05/15 at 23:15 hrs one Bishnu Pahan s/o Lt. Panchanan Pahan of Botun Haipara PS Kumarganj D/Dinajpur lodged a complaint against unknown persons to the effect that on 20/05/15 at about 20:30 hrs he was informed by the local people that the dead body of his father Panchanan Pahan (65 yrs) s/o Lt. Etoya Pahan is lying on the Botun-Aboil road near Amlapukur with profused bleeding. He along with some villagers rushed there and found that his father is lying dead on the road with profused bleeding and there is cut marks of injury on right ear upto neck. He alleged that his father was committed murder by unknown persons by sharp cutting weapon.

17 Balurghat PS Case No.467/15 dated.23.06.2015 U/S 302/34

On the complaint of Biplab Mohanto S/O Bidyut Mohanto of Vill-Power House, PO-Beltala Park, against some unknown miscreants that deceased Tarun Karmakar @ Jaggu aged about 32 years S/O Arun Karmakar of Vill-Hossainpur, of late was staying at his father in law’s house at Power House, Balurghat. On 22/06/2015 at about 19.00 hrs the complainant’s brother in-law namely Tarun Karmakar @ Jaggu went outside for some purpose. On that night the complainant’s sister namely Smt. Tamashree Mahanta Karmakar contacted with her husband over telephone at 21.30/22.00 hrs and the complainant’s brother in-law (Tarun Karmakar @ Jaggu) told her that he would return after sometime. But he did not return home. On same day at 23.00 hrs she further tried to contact her husband over telephone but that was found switched off. Tarun Karmakar did not return to his in-law’s home. Next day on 23.06.15 the dead body of Tarun Karmakar was recovered from the side of the pond of one Sudhir Chowdhury at Hossainpur, PS-Balurghat with grievous injury on his forehead. The complainant suspected that some unknown miscreants murdered his brother in-law.

Dilip Mahanta secretary Cum owner of Dhiren Mahanta Teor Charitable Society of village Balurghat Shibtali,PS, Balurghat, D/Dinajpur,(2) Khusi Mondal, Ex Super of Charitable Society of Dhiren Mahanta at Teor, D/Dinajpur that the complainant was posted as the Super of the charitable organization since last three months. Since after her joining , the owner cum secretary of the Home created pressure upon her for sending the Girls (Borders) to his house at Shibtali, Balurghat. Every Sunday the owner cum secretary of the Home appeared at the Home and asked the complainant to send the Girls to his residence. Amritakhanda, P.S. Balurghat & (vi) Lakshi Hembram (age 13 years) D/O Dinesh Hembram of Silambad, P.O. Amrail, P.S. Balurghat all of Dist. Dakshin Dinajpur. Accused Khusi Mondal abetted the offence.

19 Banshihari PS Case No 4/15, Date. 10.01.15, U/S 302/34 IPC.

On 10.01.15 at 09.45 hrs. received written complaint from one Subrata Kabiraj S/o Lt. Sunil Kabiraj of Jabrahar P.S. Banshihari , D/Dinajpur to the effect that one unknown male dead body aged about 35 yrs was found lying at Jadupur on the cultivated land in mud with cut throat injury. One cycle, shoes and one Hansua was found beside the dead body. Over this started of above reference case against unknown miscreants. Photograph of the dead body was taken. During investigation the dead body was indentified to be of Tulu Soren of Changrapichla, PS Banshihari, D/Dinajpur and both the assailants, wife of the deceased Parbati Hembrum and brother Manjil Soren were arrested, and charge sheet was submitted within the stipulated time.

20 Banshihari PS Case No 152/15, Date. 31.10.15, u/s 364/302/34 IPC

The case was started on the complaint of one Kabiluddin Mia S/o Lt. Abul Hossian of Jodupur, PO Daulatpur, PS Banshihari against some unknown miscreants. To the effect that on 31.10.15 at about 10:30 hrs the uncle of the complainant namely Mafedul Hossian @ Chaitu aged about 50 yrs S/o Lt. Hamedur Mia of same locality was going towards Nangrapir by bicycle. When he reached near Daulatpur Patrol Pump some unknown miscreants forcefully stopped him and put him in an unidentified vehicle and went towards Malda side. On the same day at evening the complainant received an information from Banshihari PS that the missing uncle of the complainant has been recovered at Manichak PS, Dist. Malda as dead with the vehicle used for the kidnapping.

The case ended in Charge Sheet Vide C S No 119/15 dated 30/09/2015 u/s 379 IPC & adding Sec 411IPC against 02 accused persons

22 Kushmandi PS Case No 137/15 dt 09/10/15 U/s. 363/364A/323/120B IPC

on the complaint of Selim Molla, S/O Lt Eitful Molla of Bhaior, PO-Gorail Bhikahar, PS Tapan, Dist- D/Dinajpur against Shahanewaj Alam @ Liton Miah, S/O Lt Saifur Miah of Ratanpur Paschimpara, PS-Gangarampur and 03 others to the effect that on 09/10/2015 at about 07.25 hrs the complainant reached Nalagola Auto stand with his Auto Rickshaw No. WB65A/1726. There the accused persons kidnapped the complainant and demanded ransom of Rs 32,000/-.When refused, the accused persons assaulted him with fist and blows causing injury. Due to instant fear of death, the complainant agreed to fulfill their demand and then the accused persons were taking him to a house at village Paschim Mollapara under PS Kushmandi and all of a sudden the complainant started shouting for help. Then some local people came to the spot and rescued him and apprehended all the accused persons along with steel colour Bolero car without registration number

Arrested 4 involved accused persons and a unregistered Bolero vehicle used by them was seized..
