WE’RE “EGGING” PEOPLE FOR EASTER – in the nicest way! On Saturday, March 31, Good Shepherd youth will hide a dozen treat filled plastic eggs in the yard of your choosing and leave behind an
Easter message courtesy of you. It’s a fun surprise for friends & family to wake up to on Easter morn-ing. Forms are available in the vestibule after Mass or in the church office.
NO YOUTH GROUP this Sunday or next Sunday due to Spring Break and Easter. Enjoy your time with your family and be safe!
NO RELIGIOUS ED classes during Spring Break: March 25-April 1 (Easter Sunday). Come and pray with us during Holy Week.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR for an exciting VBS; eve-ry morning, June 18-22 we’ll be shipwrecked cast-aways, but with hope in the Lord, we will find res-cue! Good Shepherd’s VBS is for everyone-all ages; call the RE office to find your place in the Crew!
PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY for our parish chil-dren and youth preparing for sacraments. First Communion will be April 28 at 5:30 pm and the Rite of Confirmation will be celebrated on Aug. 25 at 5:00 pm.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS for the Confir-mation Retreat students and ministry team. We felt the power of those prayers and the Holy Spirit with us during the weekend. These are a couple of the prayers the students composed as we closed the weekend: God, help is open our hearts to the Lord; help us to let go of our fears; help us to let go of our problems and help us to be friends, unconditionally. Amen. by Family 5
Thank You, God for this retreat experience. Thank You for opening our hearts to Your love so that Your love can flow through our hearts into others. Help us to continue on the path you set us on this weekend. Give us strength and cour-age to choose what is right. Help us return to Your path when we stray from it. Bless the friendships we have made on this weekend and continue to strengthen them when we return home. Holy Spirit, fill us with your love, compassion and kindness. by Family 3 .
