Priest Assignments Affecting St. Gregory the Great The Most Reverend David M. O'Connell, C.M., J.C.D, Bishop of Trenton, has announced a number of pastoral assignments which will take place effective June 29th, 2013. Listed below are three of those assignments which will affect our parish: Fr. Brian Woodrow, currently an assisting Priest at the Church of St. Gregory the Great, will be leaving us to become Pastor of St John Church, Allentown. Fr. Thomas Vala, currently Parochial Vicar, Christ the King Church, Long Branch, will be assigned to the Church of St Gregory the Great as a Parochial Vicar. Fr. Michael Hall, currently Parochial Vicar, St Barnabas Church, Bayville, will be a Priest in Residence at the Church of St Gregory the Great while pursuing graduate studies in Liturgy at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. We have enjoyed Fr. Woodrow's all-too-brief time with us, and offer him our prayerful best wishes as he assumes the re-sponsibilities as Pastor at St John's! We are delighted to receive Fr. Vala, joining Fr. Kimtis as a second Parochial Vicar in our parish, and welcome him warmly to our church family. And of course we extend a warm “Welcome Home!” to our own Fr. Michael Hall as he spends some time with us.

For Heaven’s Sake: Fr. Trammell's Blog In response to your request for more and better communications and as another way to help him and you to better understand one another, Father Trammell has started to blog with parishioners! In his semi-weekly exchanges, Father shares a little about himself, his thoughts about our parish and the Catholic Church, and responds to your notes. Visit our website and click on For Heaven's Sake: Fr. Trammell's Blog.
