Slavery may not look like it once did in the 19th century, but modern-day slavery is still easy to find.
According to the Global Slavery Index, the United States is home to about 60,000 people who can fairly be called modern-day slaves, including women and girls forced into sex trafficking.
Globally, that number is 30 million.
