The hallmark of the Department is the
good facilities which cater to the academic and
extra curricular interests of the students. The
Department also offers value added courses in
PCB design, Embedded & DSP, Advanced
control engineering, industrial safety,
variable frequency drives, PLC & SCADA to
the students to make them distinct in their
career. The students add pride to the
Department by winning awards for projects
proving the college motto “Innovation is our
strength”.
About Workshop The main focus of the workshop is on
electrical drives and its control automation. The
systems which control the motion of the
electrical machines are known as electrical
drives. A typical drive system is assembled
with an electric motor and a sophisticated
control system that controls the rotation of the
motor shaft. Now a day, the control can be done
easily with the help of software. So, the control
becomes more and more accurate and this
concept of drive additionally provides ease of
use. Such drive system are widely used in large
number of industrial and domestic applications
like factories, transportation systems, textile
mills, fans, pumps, motors, robots etc.
