Invitation for the Euro- Balkan Int. Conf.

Dear Mr. President,

The Federation Colombophile Internationale /FCI/ will organize the 3rd Regional Professional Conference on the 18-19-20, 01. 2019 in BRASOV, Romania, as an Euro- Balkan International Conference. Host organization is the: Romanian Pigeon Fanciers Association.

We’ve talked about it with you several times, how important it is to plan the future, and to share the knowledge in the pigeon sport. The purpose of the FCI conference is to muster the pigeon sport enthusiasts of the area/region and create a forum for familiarizing the latest knowledge, researches and results of the world, to promote the pigeon sport and establish a closer cooperation between the countries of the region, their national associations and the FCI. As part of the conference, the representatives of the FCI countries will discuss their future plans and present their achievements.

We are planning this conference with the participation of 13 countries:

Guest countries: Albania, Bosnia- Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North- Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine

Planned numbers: 50-60 person.

I would like to invite you to participate at the conference, and make a lecture/ presentation.

Your planned topics: The present and the future of the Pigeon Sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Our goal: all countries to be represented by at least two persons. FCI and local organizers will pay the cost for 2 persons from each country: conference fee, accommodation and meal.

Other participants: maximum 10 / country can connect to the conference 200 EUR/person. It covers the conference fee and meal. If you, or the participants from your country plan to stay there for the weekend your family, it is possible: there is only cost for you her/ their travel cost.

The conference will be concluded with the adoption of the action plan, which covers the principles of cooperation and its practical measures.

Main elements of the program

a) Plenary meetings: presentation of FCI president, and presentations of leaders of all invited countries

b) Professional consultations: Main topics: Racing, preparation, motivation, prizes, national – international awards, animal health issues nowadays, avian flu, doping in pigeon sport, feeding issues, breeding, involve young fanciers, family program – recruitment, industries near the pigeon sport, electronic timing systems, IT innovations

c) Product presentations as GPS, feed, medicines, ETS

d) Publications: conference brochure (before) publication of conference in written format and on CD (after)

e) The Hungarian federation provides a free open space in the Conference place park for foreign Federations to exhibit what they deem most convenient about the activity, initiatives that they carry out in their countries.

This would be a way of publicizing and promoting pigeon racing in each of the countries represented at the event. The Hungarian Federation kindly asks the delegations to bring their national flag.
