Dear Friends, Thank you for playing golf to benefit the Joe Nuxhall Scholarship Fund held here at the Fairfield Community Foundation. Your participation insures that $28,000 will be awarded to outstanding student-athletes who attend all 14 Butler County high schools. Thank you for playing. Thank you for helping to assure that Joe’s legacy lives on! Each year, we gather at the Joe Nuxhall Scholarship Luncheon to recognize and honor the winners for the important contributions they have already made to Butler County. Each winner is a stand-out because of his/her good character, leadership, academics, community volunteerism and athletic accomplishments. You have every reason to be proud of helping provide these outstanding youth with a scholarship. To all of our players, supporters, sponsors and volunteers, A heartfelt “Thank You” and huge “Congratulations” to all of you for making the 2016 Joe Nuxhall Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing yet another huge success. Thanks to all of you, we will again be providing all 14 Butler County high schools their respective $2,000.00 scholarships in 2017. As I have stated more than once, this was and always will be “dad’s baby” of all the legacy projects in his memory. A very special thanks to our co-chairs of the event Dan Hare & Dale Lierman as well as the Fairfield Community Foundation for their support in making it a smoothly run outing. In addition, our gratitude to Devyn Dugger and the great folks at Ohio Eagle, Sean Arthur and his staff from The Elks Country Club and long time supporter’s of this mission, Bob & Nelda Ernst.
