Golf NATURALLy
Welcome to hot springs villageSituated in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, Hot Springs Village has an idyllic setting with spectacular vistas, rolling hills, lush forest, pristine lakes and some of the best golf courses in the state. Hot Springs Village has been a golfer’s destination since our beginning, and no other golf community offers the variety, quality, beauty, value and fun than you’ll find right here.
varietyHome to nine golf courses, including one 27-hole complex and one private golf course, the sheer number of courses sets us apart. Each course is distinct with its own unique charac-ter, beauty and set of challenges. No two cours-es are similar and no two holes are the same. Both the beginning and avid golfer can find a course that suits their skill level and competi-tive spirit.
QualityHSV golf courses are recognized for their su-perb design and exceptional play. Both Grana-da and Ponce de Leon Golf Courses are ranked in the state’s Top 10 by Golf Digest. All courses are meticulously maintained and frequently renovated keeping conditions at their finest.
BeautyHot Springs Village may be best known for our championship golf courses, but the natural beauty of the area often times makes the great-est impression. All of the courses are picture-perfect, but Granada’s wow-factor is unforget-
table. Its clubhouse sits atop one of the highest elevations and has impressive views in both front and back. Like many of the courses, the finishing hole backs up to the restaurant allow-ing diners to get a glimpse of the action.
valueHere you’ll have country-club quality at rea-sonable rates. All eight courses owned by the Community Association are open for play; no membership required. Guest greens fees are competitively priced starting as low as $49 for afternoon play and $59 for morning play. Sales tax is additional.

Our COURSES
granada golf course - 501-922-3095250 Maderas Drive • Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 Driving Range, Putting Green, Short Game Area
Greens: Blend of L93 and Crenshaw Bent grasses
Fairways: Tif Sport Bermuda
restaurant: Tanner’s Terrace on the Greens (501-915-9880)
Granada Golf Course is ranked among the top ten courses in the state by Golf Digest. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, Granada is arguably the most scenic course in the Village with rolling hills, pine forests and amazing views. Its signature hole is the beautiful No. 18 with a meandering waterfall that stretches the length of the fairway. Granada has a nice mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. One of the best and most difficult holes is No. 17, a 465-yard par-4 with a green 60 yards long.

isaBella golf course 501-922-5505110 Iniciador Way • Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 Driving Range, Putting Green, Short Game Area
Greens: Blend of L93 and Crenshaw Bent grasses
Fairways: 419 Bermuda grass
restaurant: JK’s Columbus Grill (501-922-6666)
Opened in 2000 Isabella Golf Course was ranked as the No. 1 course in Arkansas by Golf Digest and the Arkansas Business Jour-nal from 2002 to 2006, and it continues to receive high rankings. Isabella is a 27-hole complex featuring three unique nine-hole rotations – Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, the course has wider fairways and generous driving areas with enough twists, turns and elevation changes to keep the game interesting. It’s a player-friendly course that’s fun for the avid golfer as well as the beginner.

cortez golf course - 501-922-1590299 Cortez Road • Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 Driving Range, Putting Green
Greens: SRT1020 Bent grass
Fairways: Hybrid Bermuda grass
restaurant: Paradise Grill (501-922-0223)
Cortez Golf Course is known as the shot maker’s course. You don’t have to have a long drive, but you’d better hit the landing area to avoid trouble. It’s a beautiful course winding its way across rolling hills through hickory, oak and pine trees and alongside sparkling water. The elevation changes and water hazards provide plenty of challenges, but five sets of tees accommodate most players. Many consider No. 10 as one of the tough-est holes in the Village. It’s a 425-yard par-4 with a downhill slope before going back up to an elevated green. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associ-ates, Cortez has one of the most pho-tographed scenes in the Village – the picturesque view of a mountain peak from the No. 17 tee.

magellan golf course - 501-922-4497451 Ponce de Leon Drive • Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 Driving Range, Putting Green, Short Game Area
Greens: Champion Ultra Dwarf
Fairways: 419 Bermuda grass
restaurant: Magellan Deli (501-922-5040)
Magellan Golf Course plays a little shorter than other courses in the Village, but its tricky greens prove troublesome. Originally opened as a three-hole golf school, Magellan continues to be one of the best practice facilities in the community with a large driving range, putting green and several short game areas. It is a favorite with both men and women, and the greens and selected bunkers were renovated in 2012.

With its tree-lined fairways and consistently true greens, Ponce is a favorite among low-handicap golfers. BalBoa golf course - 501-922-1504111 Balboa Way • Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 Driving Range, Putting Green, Short Game Area
Greens: Blend of Penn Cross and Crenshaw Bent grasses
Fairways: 419 Bermuda grass
restaurant: Balboa Lounge (501-922-2909)
Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, Balboa Golf Course has been recognized among the state’s top ten layouts and is considered a favorite by residents. Balboa is a walker-friendly course with wider fairways and fewer elevation changes than other Village courses. The combination of water hazards and bunkers requires a strategic plan to save par, and it has quite a collection of tricky par 3s.

desoto golf course 501-922-0001102 Clubhouse Drive Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 Driving Range, Putting Green
Greens: Champion Ultra Dwarf
Fairways: 419 Bermuda grass
DeSoto Golf Course opened in 1972 as Hot Springs Village’s first course. De-signed by Ault, Clark & Associates, this traditional course is player-friendly and a good choice for family play. It has three great finishing holes with a par 5 at No. 16, a par 4 at No. 17 and another great par 5 at No. 18. Recently renovated, DeSoto will be in tip-top shape for 2014.

Greens: Penn Cross Bent grass
Fairways: Common Bermuda
restaurant: Casa Coronado (501-922-0007)
Coronado Golf Course is the only executive-length par-62 golf course in Hot Springs Vil-lage. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, it is a great course to play for those looking to get in a quick 18 holes. There’s no sand here, so if you don’t like bunker shots, this course is for you. But don’t be fooled, Coronado is as challenging from 150 yards as any other course in the Village. This one is perfect for the beginner or the veteran wanting to perfect his/her short game.

Consistently dubbed as one of the most challenging yet f lexible golf courses ever built, Dia-mante’s unique course design plays like six incredible golf courses in one. Diamante is a mon-ster stretching 7,560 yards from its back set of six tees. It was tagged the 38th most-difficult

Off THE COURSE
There are plenty of fun things for the non-player, too. The DeSoto Family Recreation Area has playground equipment, basketball and pickleball courts and mini golf. The DeSoto Pool, just next door, is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.
Take advantage of one of our lakes and swim, boat or fish. Lake Balboa is the largest lake in the Village and a favorite spot for fishing, water sports and swimming. Our two full-service ma-rinas, on Lake Balboa and Lake DeSoto, make it easy to spend a day out on water with boat and tube rentals, and fishing tackle supplies. The three lakeside beaches are perfect for picnics and enjoying a mid-day swim. Cortez Beach is located off of Sereno Lane. DeSoto Beach is located off Seville Lane. Balboa Beach is off of Ponce de Leon Drive next to the marina. You can’t miss it!
If you love nature, take a hike on one of our trails. These tree-shaded pathways are great for an exhilarating run, leisurely walk or family bike ride. The Coronado Fitness Center, situated on Lake Coronado, is a full workout facility with weight and cardio equipment, three-lane walking track, indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, exercise classes, massage therapy and more. They also of-fer stand-up paddle board rentals, a new way to play in the water.
Go geocaching! Find hidden caches throughout HSV using your hand-held GPS device. Geocach-ing f lyers with GPS coordinates are available at the Visitor Center at 121 Cordoba Center, Suite 300.
Entertainment, spas and shopping are just a short trip away. Hot Springs, Benton, Bryant and Little Rock have a wide variety of nationally-known retailers, restaurants and movie theaters as well as quaint specialty shops. Hot Springs, just a 20-minute drive, is home to historic Bathhouse Row and Oaklawn Racing and Gaming as well as family-fun centers. Little Rock and North Little Rock are about an hour away with shopping centers, museums and nightlife. Be sure to visit the re-vitalized downtown River Mar-ket District, featuring a mix of galleries, stores and restaurants.
