Goldring was formed in 1985 as

Goldring Security by an ex-forces

director, supplying a security service to

British racecourses.

It was apparent at that time that there

was a lack of professional help

available to those venues and we soon

became leaders in the field of security

and safety at events with large

numbers attending.

We supported our clients and the

industry in general by sponsorship and

charity work.

Our work led to the introduction of a

great many safety appointments, the

promotion of professional safety,

training and handbooks for staff

working to the conditions of

‘The Green Guide’.

Goldring led the way when the security

industry was regulated in 2003. This in

turn led to our development as a

company.
