have been drawing and creating since I can remember. I may have been born with a silver crayon in my mouth, but you’d have to ask my mother. She’s the one in the picture. She is the original Goldilocks. I got my beautiful curly locks from her. Many of the images that I use in my collages are vintage photographs from my personal family collections , hence the tag line, Goldilocks Designs..“Greeting Cards and the Stories Behind Them” I played the role of Goldilocks in my kindergarden class play. The teacher called my mother to say that if Goldilocks didn’t learn her lines, someone else would have to play her part. I did learn my lines, but that was the end of my acting career. I decided to stick with art. When it came time to choose a major, I realized I could actually turn my passion into a career, and majored in Graphic Design. I have a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and Advertising from the University of Delaware. I have had my own Boutique Design Studio specializing in package design, branding, promotional and collateral materials for nationally and internationally recognized companies for over twenty five years. Always designing cards for family and friends, I was encouraged to start a Greeting Card Line of my own. I incorporate vintage imagery, ephemera, and photographs and use quotes from notable people. I am very excited to have launched Goldilocks Designs LLC and hope that you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoy designing them. I plan to be doing line extensions soon and you will be seeing your favorite greeting cards as wall art, calendars, stationery, coasters, paperweights, and more.
