ABOUTGolden Valley Health CentersGolden Valley Health Centers is a private, non-profit Federally Qualified health center system that has served California’s Central Valley for 45 years.

Through our community health centers, we provide comprehensive primary medical, dental, podiatry, womans health, opthalmology, pediatrics and behavioral health services. Through 120 physicians, dentists, physician assistants, nurses and behavioral specialists, its purpose and capacity has grown to provide services to over 150,000 patients each year.

Golden Valley has developed a system of 29 clinical sites and 11 dental sites, including two freestanding women’s health centers, four school-based centers, a homeless healthcare program and a Senior Health Center at Golden Valley’s main Merced campus. Golden Valley Health Centers serves patients who might otherwise have no place to receive health care. What began as one health center in 1972 has grown over the past four decades into an organization of 29 health centers serving Merced and Stanislaus Counties. It is the largest service of its kind in the entire region.

No patient is turned away because of inability to pay. When everyone, regardless of financial means, has access to excellent health care, it enhances the well-being of the whole community.

The purpose of the Golden Valley Health Centers Foundation is to support the organization in fulfilling their important mission.
