About the application
Gogo DASHboard enables flight departments to stand in the aircraft cabin (on the ground and in the air) and quickly check the system status and network availability for any Gogo-equipped aircraft.
The free iPhone and iPad application provides visibility into the inflight connectivity system performance that gives flight crews peace of mind and grounds crews real-time data.
The app allows you to verify the operational state of in-flight connectivity and services. In the event of an issue, the app allows for improved troubleshooting to rule out issues quickly and easily. Gogo DASH empowers the flight crew by giving them the ability to provide in-flight details to the maintenance staff.
Gogo DASH provides: 1. Real time system status2. Product & service information 3. Customer & technical support

Expectation of use
The expectation for use of this mobile application is to provide useful information to make decisions and answer functionality questions relating to Gogo products and services. This information should be used by flight crews and cabin crews to confirm or help passengers understand issues with in-flight connectivity. DASH is available on iOS mobile devices only.
Flight and ground crews have full application functionality when the aircraft is powering the Gogo systems and connected to a Gogo Wireless Access Point (WAP). To receive real-time system information, you must be connected to the in-cabin SSID connection for that specific aircraft. System and service status will only be visible within the application if the systems have power and are activated.

Wi-Fi section
The Wi-Fi summary shows details relating to the cabin network health and connection. In this example, the total number of connected devices is visible. Only information relating to the Service Set Identifier (SSID) (which is the name of the Wi-Fi access point (WAP)) will be visible by the device running DASH. The user can get additional details on the connected devices, run quick network tests like ping and traceroute, along with the ability to send an email log of information DASH collected.

WI-Fi section: connected devices
Once all the connected devices are discovered on the network, the ability to dig deeper into the connected devices is enabled. Through the connected devices section, you will be able to view the details about the devices on the cabin network including device name, device vendor, and IP and MAC addresses. This will help you identify how many active users are on the cabin network.

Wi-Fi section: ping network section
Ping is a command to test if a host IP address is reachable. This command will provide a statistical summary of results typically including minimum, maximum, and mean round-trip times, number of packets received to packets and percentage of packets lost. The app will ping 25 times before quitting the ping test. Average ping results will display if at least 3 pings are executed. The default IP address of 4.2.2.2 is a public Level 3 DNS server or alternative IP address can be entered if desired.

Wi-Fi section: run traceroute
The information traceroute provides is the path a packet of information takes, from your device to the one that is specified. It should list all routers it passes through to reach its destination or fails to reach. This traceroute shows failed hops. This information is helpful in the troubleshooting process if there is a perceived problem.
