‘God is seeking faith’

‘God is seeking faith’ just that; no further leading or prompting, just a thought that kept this hungry mind racing until day break. No great conclusions, no real understanding just enough to stir my spirit, to make me seek God for an explanation…

Jesus said; ‘Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Luke 18:8.

But Lord, your church is full of faith; I mean after all; ‘We are justified by faith’ Galatians 3:11‘We live by faith’ Habakkuk 2:4

It’s ‘by grace that we are saved and that through faith, and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God’ Ephesians 2:8

However , I do believe Christ is coming seeking a different kind of faith…

‘Faith that speaks to the mountain and commands it to be removed and cast into the sea… and believes… Mark 11:23

Faith that was displayed by the woman with the issue of blood and made her whole; Matthew 9:22

Faith like the centurion who cared enough for his servant to seek health for him, of whom Jesus said; ‘I have never found such great faith, no, not in all Israel,’ Matthew 8:5-13

Faith that tells the paralyzed to rise up and walk, Matthew 9:2-7

Faith that spits into blind eyes and thentells the blind to go wash his eyes in a pool.Mark 10:46-52

Faith that walks on water knowing that should the waves overtake us the Lord will raise us up and carry us to safety.Matthew 14:29

Faith that persists until it receives even a crumb of the masters table knowing that healing is ‘the children’s bread ‘

A faith that Christ called, ‘great faith.’ Matthew 15:22-28

Faith that makes the winds and the storms to be still and to obey us; Luke 8:25

Faith and power that does great wonders and miracles among people, Acts 6:8

Faith that says to a cripple I have no gold or silver but such as I have I give you; ‘in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk’ Acts 3:1-1

Faith that submits itself to God, speaks to the devil and says; ‘get behind me Satan’ James 4:7

Christ is not seeking people of ‘the’ faith, not for people of a ‘denomination or a tradition’ which make the word of God of no effect…Matthew 15:6

He is not seeking for the super spiritual, or religious and theologically correct, rather he is seeking for those who are foolish enough to believe for what they cannot see.Hebrews 11:1

He is seeking out the weak, the foolish and people at the bottom of the heap, 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 so that when miracles do happen they will not claim the credit.

He is seeking people who would build an ark in a desert before the rain starts.

People who would dare to walk into the devils camp and tell him to ‘let God’s people Go’ Exodus 7:16

People who would dare to shout at their Jericho. knowing it would fall down. Hebrews 11:30

He is seeking out a Moses who would dare to step back into the world and bring the nations out of bondage in the power of the Holy Ghost.

He is seeking for a Joshua who would pass over Jordan… Joshua 1:11and dare to believe God for a promised land flowing with milk and honey. Joshua 5:6

He is looking for men like Gideon, weaklings he can change into ‘Mighty men of valour’ Judges 6:11-12

He is seeking out a ‘Hannah’ who would dedicate her only son unto the Lord… 1 Samuel 1:28 women of ‘great faith’ who refuse to give up believing… Mark 7:26

He is seeking for a David who would dare to take on giants knowing that God was for Him… Psalm 56:9 and that the battle is Gods. 2 Chronicles 20:15

He is seeking for a man like ‘Shammah’ who would dare to stand in the worlds most dangerous harvest field and to take on the enemy even when others run away.2 Samuel 23:11-12

He is seeking for a Nehemiah who would rebuild fallen down Church walls and stir up the people of God so that they had a mind to work. Nehemiah 6

He is seeking for an Esther who would willingly throw her life on the line for the sake of God’speople. Esther 4:16

He is earnestly seeking for people like Isaiah who would say; ‘Lord here am I, send me’ Isaiah 6:8

He is seeking for people who will speak to mountains and command them to move knowing that all of heaven is behind their command making sure they will be cast into the sea. Mark 11:23

He is seeking people who are part of his body and who are simple enough to know and believe that the head of the body ‘Jesus Christ’still works miracles…

He is seeking people who would dare to lay hands on the sick and heal them in church or on the streetMark 16:18

He is seeking people who would dare to tear off a roof so that a friend could find Christ and be healed. Mark 2:4-12

He is seeking out a Stephen, someone full of faith and power…Acts 6:8 who would take on people steeped in religion and tell them the truth should he have to die in the attempt. Acts 7:59-60

He is seeking for a Philip, someone so filled with the Holy Ghost that people would stand in wonder at the power of their words. Acts 8:12-14

He is seeking for someone who would believe God for a second chance when they fail him. Mark 16:7

He is seeking out encouragers like Barnabas, men like Paul and Silas who will sing Gods praise in or out of prison.

Acts 16:25

Christ is seeking someone who would preach the good news, someone to heal the broken hearted, bring deliverance to the captive, recovery of sight to the blind and liberty to the bruised. Someone upon whom he could put his Spirit’ Luke 4:18

He is seeking people who would preach the gospel should it kill them…Hebrews 11:32-38

God is seeking for….
