QUESTIONS OUR GUESTS ASK...WHERE CAN I COMPLETE MY ONLINE CHECK-IN? Carnival is required to provide the Department of Homeland Security with special guest information prior to departure. To comply with this, guests must complete their advance passenger information by going online at www.carnival.co.uk/mycruise and clicking on the ‘FunPass’ icon.

DO I NEED AN ESTA TO TRAVEL? For the majority of Carnival sailings you will need an ESTA. Please check with the relevant embassies of the ports on your itinerary. For example sailings from Barbados require a ESTA as San Juan is a US territories. You will be refused boarding if you do not have the right documents.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY ONBOARD? Currency on all ships is US Dollars.

WHAT IS A SAIL & SIGN ACCOUNT? For the convenience of all guests, charges for most of their onboard purchases are made to their Sail & Sign account. A required application form will be included with the cruise documents, which are collected at the port of embarkation. Carnival accepts American Express, VISA, Mastercard and cash for deposit on guests account.

HOW MUCH ARE GRATUITIES? How much our guests give is purely a personal matter and completely up to them. For their convenience we automatically add the service charges for their dining and room services to their onboard Sail & Sign account. The total amount being $13.99 per person, per day ($15.99 per person, per day for suites and above). Guests have the option to adjust these service charges whilst onboard based on the level of service they receive. For beverage purchases 18% of the bill is automatically added to the Sail & Sign account. Note: Barbados cruises, all service charges are pre-paid and automatically added during the booking process. Service charges do not apply to guests less than 2 years of age. For some nationalities service charges are mandatory.

DOES CARNIVAL OFFER DRINKS PACKAGES? Yes we do – with our CHEERS! Beverage programme, guests can enjoy a wide variety of wine, beer and spirits (including cocktails and frozen drinks), along with sodas and non- alcoholic frozen cocktails throughout the voyage at one convenient price. The cost to pre-purchase CHEERS! prior to your cruise is $51.95* per person per day, plus 18% gratuity added on at the time of purchase of the programme. Once on board your ship, you can sign up for CHEERS! at a bar location and the cost is $56.95* per person per day, plus 18% gratuity. Guests must be over the age of 21 years to purchase alcohol. We also offer Bottomless Bubbles, our unlimited soda programme which will

allow the guest unlimited soft drinks and juices for the duration of the cruise. For children 17 years and younger this is a rate of $5.95 per person, per day and for adults $8.50 per person, per day. Can we add in about the cruising the vineyards program?

WHERE CAN WE BOOK SHORE EXCURSIONS? Optional shore excursions are available to pre-purchase at www.carnival.co.uk or may be purchased onboard the ship.

WHAT IS CARNIVAL’S POLICY FOR MINOR GUESTS? Guests under the age of 21 years must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent in the same room, or rooms located side by side. If guests under the age of 21 travel with a guardian 25 years or older, they must travel in the same room. Infants must be at least six months old (12 months for some cruises including transatlantic & Hawaii voyages) to be eligible to travel.

WORLD CLASS DININGCASUAL DINING There are lots of options for low key casual dining in our Lido restaurant, with room to seat in and outdoors. Our Lido Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, pizza, ice cream, deli, dinner, late night snacks and more.

MAIN RESTAURANT Guests can sit down for a three-course meal in the elegant environment of our Main Restaurant, where our tables are laid ready for guest’s arrival and our helpful waiters are always on hand. Guests can chose from assigned seating at 6pm (early) and 8.15pm (late) or ‘Your Time’ dining from 5.45pm until 9.30pm. Your time dining offers open seating and is managed on a first-come, first serve basis. All our dining rooms are smoke free.

Most evenings are Cruise Casual (also known as American Table), providing a modern restaurant experience, dress code includes jeans, shorts, dress shorts, collared sports shirts, dresses, skirts and trousers. (Not permitted – flip flops, bathing suits, cut-off jeans and baseball caps).

Cruise elegant evenings (also known as American Feast), occur one or two nights throughout the voyage designed to create a feel of elegant, elaborate

style be fitting the occasion. Dress code includes dress trousers, dress shirts, men may also bring suits and ties, cocktail dresses, elegant skirts and blouses and evening gowns. (Not permitted – T-shirts, flip flops, bathing suit, jeans, sportswear, baseball caps).

Most simple diet requirements can be accommodated onboard – any special requirements need to be arranged with the guest’s head-waiter onboard.

BONSAI TEPPANYAKIThe teppanyaki chef’s attention to craft is front-and-center… in fact it’s right there at your table! One part meal, one part performance — and all parts unforgettable — the Bonsai Teppanyaki experience is set to delight guests first aboard Carnival Horizon. Take a little time out of your vacation to gather around a large shared table for a meal that’s not even a little ordinary. The experience begins with a curated selection of traditional tastes, followed by a choice of tempting appetizers before your chef expertly prepares the main course, which features selections like filet mignon, grilled tofu or a seriously impressive array of fish, shrimp and lobster. (Trouble choosing one? Choose a combo!) In the teppanyaki tradition — and Carnival’s tradition of fun — expect an interactive, satisfying meal full of surprising spectacles, delicious delight… and, you know, flying food. At a fee of $32 dollars per adult.

BIG CHICKEN We heard our CFO wanted us to build a new chicken restaurant… and we were all a little confused. Then we found out they meant Shaq, our Chief Fun Officer. (Happens all the time!) Anyway, when Shaq tells you to build a chicken joint on board, you start warming up immediately. The big guy brings his poultry know-how and good taste to the seas with Big Chicken, debuting in 2020 aboard Carnival Radiance.

From build-your-own burgers by the pool, to the gourmet delights of the main restaurant, guests could eat somewhere different every night of the week. Italy, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, and America – wherever in the world their taste buds take them, they’ll get the same outstanding service from our team.

THE STEAKHOUSE Our Steakhouse has an elegant, relaxed and some-what casual atmosphere. Guests can experience premium mouth- watering cuts of beef expertly cooked to guest’s exact specifications with a range of different accompaniments.

A nominal fee of $38 per adult and $12 per child is charged, this fee does not include any beverages, reservations are recommended.

CUCINA DEL CAPITANO Cucina Del Capitano offers made-to-order Italian favourites in comfortable, relaxed surroundings. Served family-style and complimented by a wine list specializing in Italian vintages, many of the dishes and recipes were hand- selected by Carnival’s captains. For dinner, there is a nominal fee of $15 per adult and $5 per child 11 years and under, the fee does not include any beverages.

PIZZERIA DEL CAPITANO Open 24 hours a day, Pizzeria Del Capitano features piping hot slices straight out the oven with a choice of toppings. All included in the price.

JI JI ASIAN KITCHEN Ji Ji Asian Kitchen serves incredible pan-Asian cuisine sizzling straight from the wok. Guests can enjoy complimentary stir-fry favourites for lunch. In the evening they can experience a full service, for a nominal fee of $15 per adult and $5 per child 11 years and under. The evening menu features a mix of exotic and familiar dishes designed to challenge and delight guest’s senses. The fee does not include any beverages.

BONSAI SUSHI Bonsai Sushi includes a number of varieties of sushi, sashimi and rolls along with bento boxes and the venue’s own interpretation of a sushi boat. Prices range from $1 for appetizer-sized portions to $15 for a sushi ship for two, the fee does not include any beverages.

GUYS BURGER JOINT We’ve teamed up with celebrity chef Guy Fieri to bring guests the best burgers at sea. A choice of fresh-off -the-grill burgers designed by Fieri, or they can design their own. Burgers are complimented by hand-cut fries. No additional charge.

BLUEIGUANA CANTINA Offering freshly made burritos (breakfast burritos in the morning) and tacos on homemade tortillas with a variety of salsas and toppings. No additional charge.

SEAFOOD SHACK New-England inspired-style seaside spot, a seafood-lovers paradise features a menu full of the freshest ocean catch – steamed lobster, fried shrimp, crab cakes, fried clams and much more. Open for lunch and dinner, prices range from $4 to $12.

With more than 200 ocean-inspired activities, some educational and some just for fun, as well as great facilities, there’s never a moment to get bored at Camp Ocean.
