Connections from the airport to Malaga city centre:
By Train
A suburban train line connects Terminal T3 with Malaga city centre. Connection to the city centre of Malaga through RENFE commuter line C-1 Fuengirola, Malaga (“Malaga centro alameda” train stop). Hotels are within 4 minutes’ walk from the station.
Estimated travel time: 12 minutes to Malaga Centro Alameda. The cost of a single ticket is 1.80€. Timetable runs from 06.44 to 00.54

A local bus connects the airport to Malaga city centre. The main bus service is the A Express Line operated by the Malaga Municipal Transport Company (EMT).

The city counts on an important web of public transport as well as other possibilities from electric bicycles to horse carriage! . Check them on http://www.malagaturismo.com/en/sections/how-to-travel/40
A transfer service will take you to the study visit on the 17th as well as to the main Venue on the
18th at the OMAU (Observatorio de Medio Ambiente Urbano).
All participants to the study visits must join the transfer. If you are going on your own to the
OMAU on the 18th, calculate 10-15 minutes ride from the city centre in a taxi.
Meeting point. Plaza de la Marina- Tourist Office. The bus will stop around the main entrance
of the Port, facing the Tourist Office at Plaza de la Marina. We will meet at the Tourist office. The
bus won’t be able to stay long at that spot so we hardly recommend you to be on time.

Study Visit. If you are going directly, please wait for the group at the main entrance.
