Live Events Text or FB PM Series- Designed to jump start/restart your business selling to warm market. Many of us are confronted by talking on the phone to people - afraid of rejection or just not accustomed to this “habit”. You can do this via text, email or private messaging on Facebook (FB PM) and take away the “sting” of perceived rejection. LOOK OVER ALL THE OPTIONS BELOW.

The following are just suggestions; find your own “voice”. The real point is to get into action IMMEDIATELY, without over-thinking who you’re going to contact. It also helps to do this as a weekly team activity.

Text 1: “Hi Uncle Fred [best friend, etc.]. I just started a new business [new program, campaign etc.] & could use your help; it’s very simple. Please Text me back so I can give you some details.”

Text 2 after they respond: “I need 10 trial consumers to give me feedback on my product [program]- a high end shake with 14 plants [AND whole food capsule of 26 plants OR an aeroponic garden to grow your own food]. [Please] I would like you to buy and use the program [for 30 days]- your honest feedback can help me market more successfully. It’s $117.00 for the shake [or 71.25 for the capsules] including shipping (or it is about $48 a month to grow your own food). Can I count on you to be one of my 10? [Please] Let me know. [Thank you] Thanks.”

Or

Text 2 after they respond: "Thank you! Here are the details. I need about 10 TRIAL consumers to give me feedback on our Transform30 program. For the Biz: Examples of How to Invite Someone to Take a Look at Your Business

The most important things are to compliment them and keep it SHORT. When they respond that they want more info or are willing to take a look and tell their friends, I send a short biz video.

When you feel like you can ask them directly: (Of course, you will need to change this into your own words) Example: Hey Danni! So freaking excited for your engagement! I've been meaning to each out to you because I’m expanding my business and I'm looking for a few new team members. Not sure what you're up to in terms of work right now, or if it's something you'd be interested in, but I just think you're so great and creative and it might be a good fit. Let me know if you're interested and i can send you some info. If not, no worries! Just thought of you:)

When you don’t feel comfortable asking them directly:

Maybe they have said no in the past, or maybe you don’t know them very well.

Example: Hey lady! Hope everything is going great for you what color did you pick for your car?

I'm reaching out because I’m expanding my business and I'm looking for a few new team members. I know you've already got a lot going on and it might not be for you, but I was wondering if you know anyone who is looking to earn some extra income. I always admired your work ethic and passion and figure those are the kinds of people you surround yourself with! Let me know if you can think of anyone and I can also send you a short video to give you an idea of what we do/who we are looking for. If not, no worries at all! One more real example:

Once you have done 10, do 10 more. If you speak with them just share your remarkable experience and get the order information so they can be part of your test market. Do not stay on phone long, you have to make some other calls/texts. The focus is to sell product with the text. ABC close and invite to next event.

(You can do this by phone, text, email or Private Message on Facebook (FB PM) you may also choose to adjust this for your own style…also, you may not choose to do all the steps. Many of us don’t want to be perceived as being “salesy” so you may want to stop after your first follow up. DO keep inviting to any events, FB parties, etc.

Steps – choose approach (direct, indirect, super-indirect) based on prospect (warm or cold market)

1. Be in a Hurry- “I’m between meetings so don’t have time to get into this, but I’m glad I caught you.” (Not really applicable if you’re not on the phone, but still, keep it short!! Super Important)

2. Sincerely Compliment the Prospect (based on warm or cold market) Warm “I’ve been thinking of you because…” (Sincere compliment)

Cold “You made this a great experience.”

3. Make the Invitation-based on chosen approach (direct, indirect, super-indirect)

Direct Warm “I found something you really need to see.” “I’ve found something I love that made me think of you” (product or biz) Cold “I may have something for you” (Product or Biz when they have expressed a concern) “Do you keep your career options open?” Indirect Warm: “Could you give me some feedback?” (product or biz) “Would you help me perfect a new business program?” Cold N/A Super-Indirect Both “This may not be for you, but do you know anyone who is looking to improve their health or expand their career options?”

If you’re doing this as a text, email or FB PM, this would be the end of your conversation…waiting for them to be interested and then taking the pressure off of you. (Add, “if you’re interested, I can send you some info, if not, it’s totally cool”)

If they respond:

4. If I____, Would you_____? If I gave you a link to a short video clip, would you click on it and watch?” If they say no, it’s probably best to thank them for their time and move on.

(If you’re doing this by text and they ask for the info, send them a short video and your T-30 link.) (

5. Get a Time Commitment- When do you think you could watch?” This is optional

(If you’re doing this by text or FB PM, check in with them, but don’t harass)

Optional: 6. Confirm- ____, you’ll have reviewed it for sure? (Give people 2 times to choose from for follow up as this is better than an open ended question and even if you have to negotiate a different time, giving 2 specific times makes the request powerful) “I can call you either Tues night or Wed afternoon, which works best for you? …So, if I call you on ______, you’ll have watched it for sure?”

7. Get a Time and Number- “what’s the best number and time for me to call?”

8. Get off the phone! You really are in a hurry…to get closer to your goals…and have more calls/meetings/events. “Great. We’ll talk then. Got to get going.” Note. If they said yes 4 times during this process, they are 80% more likely to do what they said they would. If they haven’t when you call or text again, just go through the cycle again with them. Data also shows that the odds of a transaction (making an order or joining your team) jump to 80% on the 5th exposure (three way call, meeting, material review, event). Don’t give up on your prospects but also, stay detached from the outcome. Facebook Parties Lots of folks having tons of success with this method. Check out the Transform tools page for several versions but be sure to adapt it for your own style. JUMP IN. We find that doing many of them is the key. Keep them short, use FB PM to invite and have a partner who can answer questions while you’re posting. Live Events Our original Transform 30 parties are still working: great opportunity to try the bars and shakes and do something fun with others: happy hours, workouts, experiences. Think fun and use the outline

on the Transform30 Tools page for guidelines but find out what works for you. Biggest suggestion? Keep it simple!

Alternate option 1. Use Pitchbook to talk about the Network Marketing (NM) business [and product]. It is a fact; we have a better way for entrepreneurs.

Some Final Thoughts: ASK HIGH YIELDING QUESTIONS!! (HYQs)

FESS UP Fitness – Are you happy with your level of fitness? Is there room for improvement? Energy – Would like to have more sustainable energy throughout the day? Salt/Sugar – Do you crave salty foods or sweet foods more? What kind of foods do you reach for when you are stressed or hungry? Sleep/Stress – Do you get a good night’s rest? How is your stress level?
