IntroductionIntroduction

The central point of Gnosis is the saving action of Christ in man. In Gnostic Anthropology, this action is known as the 'Mystery of the Salvator Salvandus'. To understand this action, we need to objectively know what Christ really is.

'Jesus said to his disciples, “Compare me with someone and tell me who I am like.”

'Simon Peter said to him, “You are like a righteous angel.” 'Matthew said to him, “You are like a wise philosopher.” 'Thomas said, “O Master, my mouth is utterly unable to say who you are like.”

'Then Jesus said (to Thomas), “I am not your master. Because you have drunk, you have become intoxicated by the bubbling spring which I have measured out...”

'And he took him, and both withdrew to a place apart, and he told him who he was in three words:

ahyh ashr ahyh'I AM WHO I AM'

'And when Thomas returned to his companions, they asked him: “What did Jesus say to you”. And Thomas said to them, “If I told you one of the words that he spoke to me, you would pick up stones and throw them at me, and a fire would come out of the stones and burn you up.”'

Gospel of Thomas, saying No 13

'Jesus said to Philip, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, "Show us the Father?" Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or else believe me because of the works themselves.”'

The Anointed One of GodThe Anointed One of God

Xristos or Christos is a Greek word that literally means 'anointed' ('rubbed over with oil', 'purified'). This word was used in the New Testament to indicate that Christ was the Messiah (literally 'anointed' in Hebrew), about whom some Prophets of the Old Testament prophesied.

In Isaiah 53, we can read: 'For he grew up before the Lord like a young plant... nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows... he was wounded for our transgressions... like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, so he did not open his mouth...'

Also in Isaiah, 7:14, we can read: 'Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, a virgin is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel (God is with us)'.

And in Isaiah 9: 6-8: 'For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His authority shall grow continually, and there shall be endless peace for the throne of David and his kingdom.'

The Jews are still waiting for the promised Messiah. Christians see him in the historical figure of Jesus of Nazareth, but neither the ones nor the others have understood what the 'Christ of God' is.

The Christ-ForceThe Christ-Force

To understand what the Christ is, Gnosis explains it in various ways. Esoteric Christianity teaches us that there are different forms of expression of the Christ Force, namely:

• As Christ-Substance• As Historical Christ• As Liquid Christ

The Christ-SubstanceThe Christ-Substance

'Jesus said to his disciples, “I am the Light of the World. I am the Light that is above all of them. I am the All. The All has come out of Me, and the All has come back to Me. Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find Me there.”' (Nag Hammadi, codex II-2, Gospel of Thomas, saying No 77).

By Christ we Gnostics mean the Universal Substance of Life, what is behind any phenomenon and sustains both the atom and the star, that is, the Directive Intelligent Principle of Creation.

It would be impossible for the Great Universal Spirit of Life to be able to crystallize its cosmic ideations if the christic substance did not exist. The christic substance inundates all of infinite space, and is subject to the systole and diastole of all the suns of the Infinite. The suns are precisely the embodiment of the Christ Force in space. The light coming forth from the suns is the crystallization of the vivifying substance of the cosmic Chrestos.

'Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the Light of Life.”' John 8: 12

'Christ is a principle that is beyond individuality, personality and the 'I'. He is what is, what has always been and what will always be. Christ is the life that throbs both in every atom and in every sun. Christ is the marvellous agent that expresses itself through any properly prepared man.'

S. A. W.

The Historical Christ The Historical Christ

Let us speak now about the historical Christ. When a man knows the narrow and secret path that leads to Christification, he works in the Mysteries and prepares himself. When a man is properly prepared incarnates his Inner Christ (the manifestation of the Cosmic Chrestos in him). Then, 'the Word becomes flesh and lives among us full of grace and truth.' That man has become a 'historical Christ'.

Jesus was a properly prepared man who incarnated the Christ-substance in him. Jesus was the son of Miriam and Joseph, a carpenter of Nazareth. He had four brothers: Jacob, Joseph, Judas and Simon. He also had several sisters. He was a member of a large family of Galilee.

Jesus was a man full of deep spiritual longings. He searched for the Light. He found the Mysteries of Initiation. He properly prepared himself and incarnated his Inner Christ and, as a result, he became a Living Christ, a Son of God.

The difference with other men, who, like Jesus, also became christified in the past, is that he publicly performed the Cosmic Drama of the Inner Christ in the presence of humanity. Jesus showed the path of the birth, death and resurrection of Christ in man.

Other christified men have, however, existed in the history of peoples, and the life of all of them was a reflection of the Solar Christic Drama: they were all born at the winter solstice, sacrificed themselves for humanity, rose at the spring equinox and ascended to the Father in the summer solstice.

The Gnostic Gospels speak of the Christified Ones, saying:

Jesus said, 'If they say to you, ''Where have you come from?'' Say to them, ''We have come from the Light, from the place where the Light came into being by itself, established itself and became manifest through their image.'' If they say to you, ''Is it you?'' Say, ''We are its

children, and we are the chosen of the Living Father.'' If they ask you, ''What is the sign of your Father in you?'' Say to them, ''It is motion and rest."' (Nag Hammadi, codex II-2, Gospel of Thomas, saying No 50)

The Liquid ChristThe Liquid Christ

But let us go deeper into this mystery. Why does Gnosis says that one of the expressions of the Cosmic Chrestos is the Liquid-Christ? It says so because the Christ-substance is always present in the seed of every living being. The ens seminis (the seminal principle) is christic in nature. The creative fire, enclosed in the seminal atoms, is the christic force. This is the reason why the Gnostics call the ens seminis 'Sacred Sperm'.

The ancient sages of Alchemy said that when the astral light condenses physically, it becomes semen. The Liquid Christ is the water of life that quenches one's thirst for ever. 'Jesus answered her (the Samaritan woman), ''If you knew the gift of God (the A.Z.F. Arcanum), and who it is that is saying to you, ''Give me a drink,'' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water... Those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.''' (John 4: 10,14)

*******

Now let us study some archetypical conceptions of Christ, which will allow us to go deeper into the meaning of his Mystery.

The WordThe Word

The Word is one of the main conceptions of Christ. How to understand the term 'Word'? 'Word' is the English translation of the Greek term Logos. The Word is the 'Army of the Voice', the Choir of the Elohim of the first instant of Creation. That is the reason why St John writes: 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being.' (John 1: 1-3)

The Christ-Substance is the radiance of the glory of the Father, who creates and sustains all things with the marvellous power of his Word. Christ is the Solar Logos. The

Solar Logos is not an individual. The Solar Logos is an Army: The Army of the Voice, the Great Word.

The interesting thing is to know that the Army of the Cosmic Chrestos is made up of the Inner Christs of every one of us. In Christ, we all are One. Christ is 'Perfect Multiple Unity'. This is, perhaps, the most revealing way to define Christ.

In many Medieval sculptures, the child Jesus is depicted sitting on the lap of the Virgin Mary, blessing with his right hand (showing three fingers, a sign of the Trinity), and holding in his left hand fruits of multiple seeds, such as pine cones or pomegranates. These fruits are a magnificent representation of the Perfect Multiple Unity.

In the world of the Christ, we are all One; in it there is no differentiation. Each Inner Christ has, however, his own individuality, his own 'tone'. That is the mystery of the Lost Word which must be found or, to be more precise, incarnated.

The Son of GodThe Son of God

When a Christian believer is asked, Who is the Christ? He or she answers, 'He is the Son of God'. The Son is one of the 'persons' of the Christian Trinity: the Son is one with the Father and with the Holy Spirit.

The mission of the Son is one of tremendous responsibility: the Father cannot descend to the world but through the Son. Man cannot ascend to the Father but through the Son. The Father delegates all responsibility to the Son. The Son of God is that part of the Being which is accessible to man.

This transcendental idea of the Christ leads us to another very enlightening Gnostic conception about his cosmic responsibility: that of Mediator.

The MediatorThe Mediator

A Gnostic text defines the Son 'as the powerful astral mediation that links our physical personality with the supreme immanence of the Solar Father.' This astral mediation takes on concrete reality in the Liquid-Christ (semen).

The work in the A.Z.F. Arcanum is a real Eucharist in that the Higher Existential Bodies of the Being (the 'wedding suit of the Soul') are the result of the incessant transmutations of the Liquid Christ (the 'blood' of Christ). A true man's Inner Bodies are the crystallization of the Christ-Substance (the 'flesh' of Christ) in him. The Way or path that leads to the Father is the Son.

The mediating action of the Son precisely takes place when the A.Z.F. Arcanum is practised: 'I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh... Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up on the last day; for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them'. (John 6: 51,54-56)

The SaviourThe Saviour

The mediating work of Christ turns him into a Saviour, on account of the fact that he redeems us of the Original Sin with his sacrifice. This has to be understood psychologically. The sleep of consciousness, the condition of slavery at the service of the different I's or psychological faults within us, is the result of an Edenic error. Christ comes to the world because of a concrete need: We need to return to the original starting point, to the original state that we have formerly lost.

Only Christ can save us. The mystery of the Salvador Salvandus is one of the most important principles of Gnosticism. The Gnostic accepts the Doctrine of the Inner Christ as the only means of salvation or liberation. The Gnostic loves his Inner Christ. He consciously knows that without his help, confusion is certain on the way back to the bosom of the Light (the Father).

The ReintegratorThe Reintegrator

Salvation leads us to another beautiful Gnostic conception of Christ: Christ as a 'reintegrator'. 'For the Son of Man came to save the lost. What do you think? If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.' (Matthew 18: 11-13)

Christ loves those who have gone astray more than those who are already saved. The Gnostic Myth teaches that Christ descends from the Kingdom of the Light, by the will of the Father, to redeem and save Pistis Sophia, and to reintegrate it to the fullness of the Pleroma.

The FireThe Fire

How does Christ redeem us? Upon the cross of mount Calvary, where Jesus Christ was crucified, tradition has it that a sign with the words I.N.R.I. was nailed on the top of the cross. Those four initial letters are popularly translated as 'Iesus Nazaraeus Rex Iudaeorum' (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews). But its esoteric meaning is a very different one, namely Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram (Fire incessantly renews Nature).

Christ is a regenerating Fire. John the Baptist, while preaching, said, 'I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is more powerful than I am, and I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire.' (Matthew 3: 11)

Khristos, or Christos, comes from very ancient cults of the God of Fire. The Greek letters X (chi or khi) and P (rho), both interwoven, as found in the Monogram of Christ (crismon), represent the X (cross) and the P (Ra, mantram of fire). This is the hieroglyphic that teaches us how to produce the Sacred Fire.

It is necessary to produce the Fire and work with the Sexual Fire in order to attain Christification (the A.Z.F. Arcanum is the key to it). As we have explained above, the Creative Fire of Life lies in the sexual seed.

Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9

The Gospel of Thomas says, 'He who searches will find me in children from the age of seven because, being hidden there, I will manifest myself in the fourteenth aeon' (the age of fourteen, in puberty).

The Son of ManThe Son of Man

But, how did Jesus himself define the Christ? As the Son of Man. A mysterious definition. What is the meaning of that name? We are given a beautiful revelation in one of the verses of the Gospel of Matthew, where this name is first mentioned in the Gospels:

'A scribe then approached and said, ''Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.'' And Jesus said to him, ''Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.' (Matthew 8: 19-20)

Why does the Son of Man have no place to settle in? Why does no one want to take Him in? Why is it that He had no worthy place to be born, forcing His parents to take Him along into a stable? The answer is, because there are no human beings properly prepared to incarnate Him.

And how does a human being prepare himself to receive and incarnate Christ? By creating the High Existential Bodies of the Being, so that we can thus receive our soul principles and our spiritual principles, which will transform us into True Men. Esoteric Christianity teaches us how we can prepare ourselves in order to celebrate the Nativity of the Heart.

GNOSTIC ESOTERIC CHRISTIANITY IN THE WORDS OF MASTER SAMAELGNOSTIC ESOTERIC CHRISTIANITY IN THE WORDS OF MASTER SAMAEL

Excerpts from his book Excerpts from his book The Great RebellionThe Great Rebellion

To study the Inner Christ, to study Christic Esoterism, is basic when we are concerned to produce a radical and permanent change in us. This is what we will do in the coming sections in this Unit.

The Inner ChristThe Inner Christ

Christ is the Fire of the Fire, the Flame of the Flame, the Astral Signature of Fire.

On the Cross of the Martyr of Calvary, the Mystery of the Christ is defined with one word composed of four letters: INRI. Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra. Fire Incessantly Renews Nature.

The Advent of the Christ in the heart of man transforms us radically.

Christ is the Solar Logos—Perfect Multiple Unity. Christ is the life throbbing in the whole universe. He is what is, what has always been and what will always be.

Much has been said about the Cosmic Drama. Unquestionably, this drama is made up of the Four Gospels.

We have been told that the Cosmic Drama was brought to the Earth by the Elohim. The Great Lord of Atlantis performed that drama in flesh and blood. The Great Kabir Jesus also performed the same drama publicly in the Holy Land.

Even if Christ is born one thousand times in Bethlehem, that is no use at all unless he is born in our heart too. Even if he had died and risen from the dead on the third day, that is no use at all unless he dies and rises in us too.

To try to discover the nature and essence of Fire is to try to discover God, whose real presence has always been revealed under the igneous appearance.

The burning bush (Exodus 3:2) and the fire on Sinai, following the issuing of the Decalogue (Exodus 19: 18), are two manifestations through which God appeared to Moses.

In the form of a flame-coloured being of jasper and sardonyx, seated on an incandescent and fulgurant throne, St John describes the Master of the Universe (Revelation 4: 3-5). ‘Our God is a devouring fire,’ writes St Paul in his Epistle to the Hebrews.

The Inner Christ, the Heavenly Fire, must be born in us, and he actually is when we have advanced a good deal in our psychological work.

The Inner Christ must eliminate from our psychological nature the very causes of error, the I’s-Causes. The dissolution of the causes of the Ego would not be possible as long as the Inner Christ has not been born in us.

The living and philosophical Fire, the Inner Christ, is the Fire of the Fire, the pure of the pure. Fire envelops us and bathes us all around. It comes to us through the air, through the water and through the very earth, which are its preservers and its different vehicles. The Heavenly Fire must crystallize in us. It is the Inner Christ, our deep inner Saviour.

The Inner Lord must take charge of our whole psyche, of the five cylinders of our organic machine, of all our mental, emotional, motor, instinctive and sexual processes.

Christic WorkChristic Work

The Inner Christ arises internally in the work related to the dissolution of the Psychological I. Obviously, the Inner Christ comes to us only at the culminating point of our intentional efforts and voluntary sufferings.

The advent of the Christic Fire is the most important event in our life. The Inner Christ then takes charge of all our mental, emotional, motor, instinctive and sexual processes. Unquestionably, the Inner Christ is our deep inner Saviour.

When he comes into us, He, being perfect, appears as imperfect. He, being chaste, appears as if he was not. He, being just, appears as if he was not. This is similar to the different reflections of light. If we wear blue glasses, everything will appear blue to us, and if we wear red glasses, we will see everything in that colour.

Even though he is white, seen from outside, everyone will see him through the psychological glass with which he is looked at. That is the reason why people, though seeing him, do not see him. When the Lord of Perfection takes charge of all our psychological processes, he suffers unspeakably. Having become a man among men, he has to go through many trials and endure indescribable temptations.

Temptation is fire; triumph over temptation is light.

Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9

The Initiate must learn to live dangerously. It is thus written. This Alchemists know. The Initiate must resolutely tread the Path of the Razor’s Edge. On both sides of the difficult path there are terrifying chasms.

In the difficult path of the dissolution of the Ego there are complex paths that have their roots precisely in the Royal Path. Obviously, from the Path of the Razor’s Edge come out many paths that lead to nowhere. Some of them lead us to the Abyss and to desperation.

There are paths that could turn us into majesties of these or those zones of the universe, but they would not bring us back in any way to the bosom of the Eternal Common Cosmic Father.

There are ineffable, fascinating paths with a very holy appearance. Unfortunately, they can only lead us to the submerged involution of the Nether Worlds.

In the work of the dissolution of the 'I', we need to completely surrender to the Inner Christ. Sometimes, problems of difficult solution appear. Suddenly, the Path disappears into inexplicable labyrinths, and we do not know what way to take. Only an absolute obedience to the Inner Christ and to the Father Who Is In Secret can wisely orientate us in those cases.

The Path of the Razor’s Edge is full of dangers inside and outside.

Conventional morality is of no use at all. Morality is a slave of particular customs, of a particular time, of a particular place. What was moral in previous times is now immoral. What was moral in the Middle Ages can be immoral nowadays. What is moral in one country is immoral in another country.

In the work of the dissolution of the Ego, it sometimes happens that when we think that we are doing very well, in fact we are doing very badly.

Changes are imperative during our esoteric progress. However, reactionary people remain cooped up in the past; they petrify themselves in time and roar and thunder against us as we attain deep psychological progress and radical changes.

People cannot stand the Initiate’s changes. They want the Initiate to remain petrified in many a yesterday. Any change that the Initiate may accomplish is immediately described as immoral.

Looking at these things from this angle, in the light of the Christic Work, we can clearly realize the inefficiency of the different codes of morals which have been written in the world.

www.gnosis-correspondence-course.net - 18 -

Page 19: Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9...Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9 Introduction The central point of Gnosis is the saving action of Christ in man

Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9

Unquestionably, when the Christ, manifested and yet hidden in the heart of Real Man, takes charge of our different psychological states; he, although being unknown to people, is in fact described as cruel, immoral and wicked.

It is paradoxical to realize that people worship the Christ and nevertheless they describe him in such a terrible way.

Obviously, unconscious and sleeping people are only interested in an anthropomorphic and historical Christ, a Christ of statues and inflexible dogmas, into whom they can easily fit all their codes of obtuse and stale morals and all their prejudices and conditions.

People can never conceive the Inner Christ in the heart of man. The multitudes only worship the ‘statue Christ’, and that is all.

When one speaks to the multitudes, when one declares to them the harsh realism of the Revolutionary Christ, of the Red Christ, of the Rebellious Christ, one is immediately described as follows: blasphemer, heretic, wicked person, desecrater, sacrilegious person, and so on.

Such are the multitudes, always unconscious, always asleep. Now we will understand why the Christ, while being crucified on Golgotha, exclaims with all the strength of his soul: ‘My Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing!’

Although the Christ, in himself, is one, he appears as many. For that reason it has been said that he is a Perfect Multiple Unity. To the one who knows, the word gives power. No one pronounced it; no one will pronounce it, but only the one who has incarnated him. To incarnate him is something fundamental in the advanced work of the Pluralized I.

The Lord of Perfection works in us as we exert ourselves consciously in the work on ourselves. The work which the Inner Christ has to carry out in our own psyche is frightfully painful. In truth, our Inner Master must experience his whole ‘Way of the Cross’ very deep within our own soul.

It is written: God helps those who help themselves. It is also written: Help yourself and I will help you. To entreat our Divine Mother Kundalini is fundamental when our aim is to dissolve undesirable psychic aggregates. However, the Inner Christ works wisely in the innermost depths of ourselves in accordance with the responsibilities which he takes upon his shoulders.

The Difficult PathThe Difficult Path

Unquestionably, there is a dark side in ourselves which we do not know or we do not accept. We must direct the light of Consciousness towards that dark side of ourselves.

The whole object of our Gnostic studies is to attain a more conscious knowledge of ourselves. When we have many things in ourselves which are not known or accepted, then those things make our life frightfully complicated, and they actually give rise to all sorts of situations that could be avoided through self-knowledge.

The worst thing about all of this is that we project that unknown and unconscious side of ourselves onto other people, and then we see it in them. For example: we look at them as if they were liars, unfaithful people, mean people, and so on, in relation to what we have within us.

What Gnosis says on this matter is that we live in a very small part of ourselves. That means that our consciousness extends only to a very small part of ourselves. The aim of the Gnostic Esoteric Work is to clearly increase our own consciousness.

Undoubtedly, as long as we are not well related to ourselves, we will not be well related to others either, and the result will be conflicts of all kinds.

It is imperative that we become far more conscious towards ourselves through a direct observation of ourselves.

A general Gnostic rule in the Gnostic Esoteric Work is that when we do not get along with someone, we can be sure that this is the very thing against which it is necessary to work on ourselves.

What we criticize in others so much is something that lies in the dark side of ourselves, and which we neither know nor want to admit. When we are in such a condition, the dark side of ourselves is very big. However, when the light of the observation of oneself illuminates that dark side, consciousness increases through the knowledge of oneself.

This is the Path of the Razor’s Edge. This path is bitterer than bile. Many start it; very few are those who reach the goal.

Just as the moon has a hidden side which cannot be seen, an unknown side; likewise, we also have a hidden side in us: our Psychological Moon. Obviously, that Psychological Moon is made up of the Ego, the I, the Myself, the Oneself. In this Psychological Moon, we have dreadful and horrifying inhuman elements, which we would in no way accept that we have.

How cruel the Path of the Inner Self-Realization of the Being is. How many precipices! What difficult passes! What horrible labyrinths! Sometimes, the inner path, after many twists and turns, horrifying ascents and extremely dangerous descents, disappears into sandy deserts. One does not know where it continues and not one ray of light illuminates it.

A path full of dangers inside and outside. A path of unspeakable mysteries where only a breath of death blows.

In this inner path, when one thinks that one is doing very well, one is actually doing very badly.

In this inner path, when one thinks that one is doing very badly, it happens that one is doing very well.

In this secret path there are moments when one even no longer knows what is right or what is wrong.

What is normally forbidden is sometimes the fair thing to do. Such is the inner path.

All moral codes are superfluous in the Inner Path. A beautiful maxim or a fine moral precept can, in certain moments, become a very serious obstacle for the Inner Self-Realization of the Being.

Fortunately, the Inner Christ, from the innermost depths of our Being, works intensively, suffers, weeps, disintegrates extremely dangerous elements that we have within us.

The Christ is born as a child in the heart of man, but as he gradually eliminates the undesirable elements that we have within, he grows up little by little until he becomes a complete man.

The Three TraitorsThe Three Traitors

In the deep inner work, within the sphere of the strict psychological self-observation, we have to experience the whole Cosmic Drama in a direct way.

The Inner Christ has to eliminate all the undesirable elements that we have within us.

In our psychological depths, the multiple psychic aggregates shout, asking for the crucifixion of the Inner Lord.

Unquestionably, every one of us has the Three Traitors in his or her psyche.

Judas, the demon of desire; Pilate, the demon of the mind; Caiaphas, the demon of the bad will.

These Three Traitors crucify the Lord of Perfections in the very depths of our soul. They are three specific types of inhuman elements, which are fundamental in the Cosmic Drama.

Undoubtedly, the above-mentioned drama has always been secretly experienced in the depths of the Superlative Consciousness of the Being.

The Cosmic Drama is not an exclusive property of the Great Kabir Jesus, as the learned ignoramuses always think.

The Initiates of all ages, the Masters of all centuries, have had to experience the Cosmic Drama within themselves, here and now.

However, Jesus the Great Kabir had the courage to perform this inner drama publicly, in the street and in broad daylight, in order to open the meaning of Initiation to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, caste or colour.

It is marvellous that there is someone who publicly taught the Inner Drama to all the peoples of the Earth

The Inner Christ, while not being lustful, has to eliminate from himself the psychological elements of lust.

The Inner Christ, while being in himself peace and love, must eliminate from himself the undesirable elements of anger.

The Inner Christ, while not being greedy, must eliminate from himself the undesirable elements of greediness.

The Inner Christ, while not being envious, must eliminate from himself the psychic aggregates of envy.

The Inner Christ, while being perfect humility, infinite modesty and absolute simplicity, must eliminate from himself the revolting elements of pride, vanity and conceit.

The Inner Christ, the Word, the Creative Logos, while being always constantly active, has to eliminate within us, in himself and by himself, the undesirable elements of inertia, laziness and stagnation.

The Lord of Perfection, while used to fasting, always temperate, never fond of drinking binges and big meals, has to eliminate from himself the abominable elements of gluttony.

The symbiosis of the Christ-Jesus—the Christ-Man—is a strange symbiosis. It is a rare mixture of the divine and the human, of the perfect and the imperfect—an ever constant trial for the Logos.

The most interesting thing about of all this is that the Secret Christ is always a conqueror, someone who constantly overcomes darkness, someone who eliminates darkness within himself, here and now.

The Secret Christ is the Lord of the Great Rebellion, rejected by the priests, by the elders and by the scribes of the temple.

The priests hate him; that is, they do not understand him. They want the Lord of Perfections just to remain imprisoned in time, following their inflexible dogmas.

The elders; that is, the dwellers of the earth, the good householders, the judicious people, the people with experience, hate the Logos, the Red Christ, the Christ of the Great Rebellion, because he is not enclosed in the world of their reactionary and outmoded habits and customs which are petrified in many a yesterday.

The scribes of the temple, the knaves of the intellect, hate the Inner Christ because he is the antithesis of the Antichrist, a declared enemy of all that decaying mass of university theories, which are so abundant in the markets of bodies and souls.

The Three Traitors mortally hate the Secret Christ and lead him to death within ourselves and in our own psychological space.

Judas, the demon of desire, always changes the Lord for thirty silver coins, that is, for liquors, money, fame, vanities, fornication, adultery, and so on.

Pilate, the demon of the mind, always washes his hands; he always declares himself innocent; he is never to blame; he constantly justifies to himself and to others; he seeks excuses to evade his own responsibilities, and so on.

Caiaphas, the demon of the bad will, incessantly betrays the Lord within ourselves. The adorable Intimate gives him the staff to shepherd his sheep; yet, the shameless traitor turns the altar into a bed of pleasures, fornicates incessantly, commits adultery, sells the sacraments, and so on.

These Three Traitors secretly make the adorable Inner Lord suffer without any kind of compassion. Pilate orders that a crown of thorns should be put on his temples; the wicked I’s whip him, insult him, curse him in our inner psychological space without any kind of pity.

The I’s-CausesThe I’s-Causes

The multiple subjective elements that constitute the Ego have causal roots. The I’s-Causes are linked to the laws of Cause and Effect. Obviously, there cannot be a cause without an effect, nor can be there an effect without a cause. This is unquestionable and indubitable.

The elimination of the different inhuman elements that we have within would be inconceivable unless we radically eliminated the intrinsic causes of our psychological faults. Obviously, the I’s-Causes are intimately related to specific karmic debts.

Only our most profound repentance and our respective negotiations with the Lords of the Law can give us the joy of achieving the disintegration of all those causal elements, which can lead us, in one way or another, to the permanent elimination of our undesirable elements.

The intrinsic causes of our errors can certainly be eradicated from ourselves thanks to the efficient work of the Inner Christ.

Obviously, the I’s-Causes usually have terribly difficult complexities. Example: An esoterist student could be disappointed by his instructor and as a result he would become sceptical. In this particular case, the I-cause that produced that error could only be disintegrated through a supreme, intimate repentance and with very special, esoteric negotiations.

The Inner Christ works intensively within ourselves eliminating all those secret causes of our errors, through conscious labours and voluntary sufferings.

The Lord of Perfections must experience the whole Cosmic Drama in our innermost depths. One is amazed when one sees all the tortures that the Lord of Perfections experiences in the Causal World. In the Causal World, the secret Christ experiences all the indescribable sufferings of his ‘Way of the Cross’.

Undoutedly, Pilate washes his hands and justifies himself, but in the end he condemns the Adorable One to die on a cross. To the clairvoyant Initiate, it is extraordinary to see the ascent to Calvary.

Undoubtedly, the Solar Consciousness, merged with the Inner Christ and crucified on the majestic cross of Calvary, utters terrible sentences which human beings cannot understand.

The final sentence: 'My Father, into your hands I commend my spirit,' is followed by lightning, thunder and great cataclysms.

Subsequently, the Inner Christ, after being removed from the cross, is placed in his Holy Sepulchre.

By dying, the Inner Christ kills death. Much later the Inner Christ must rise in us.

Unquestionably, Christic Resurrection transforms us radically.

Any Resurrected Master has extraordinary powers over fire, air, water and earth. Undoubtedly, Resurrected Masters acquire not only psychological immortality but also bodily immortality.

Jesus, the Great Kabir, is still alive with the same physical body he had in the Holy Land. The Count of St. Germain, who transmuted lead into gold and made diamonds of the best quality during the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th etc. centuries, is still alive.

The enigmatic and powerful Count Cagliostro, who so astonished Europe with his powers during the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, is a Resurrected Master, and he is still keeping his same physical body.

The Super-ManThe Super-Man

A codex of Anahuac has said, ‘The Gods created men out of wood, and after having created them they fused them with the Divinity.' But it later adds, ‘Not all men succeed in merging with the Divinity.'

Unquestionably, first it is necessary to create the Man before being possible to merge him with the Real. The intellectual animal mistakenly called man is not a Man by any means.

If we compare a Man with an intellectual animal, we can then verify for ourselves the concrete fact that although, physically, the intellectual animal looks like a Man, psychologically he is absolutely different to him. Unfortunately, everyone thinks erroneously. They think that they are Men. They describe themselves as Men.

We have always believed that Man is the king of creation. The intellectual animal, to date, has not even proved that he is a king of himself. If he is not a king of his own psychological processes, if he cannot direct them at will, still less will he be able to govern nature.

We could in no way accept man turned into a slave, incapable of governing himself and turned into a plaything of the bestial forces of nature.

Either one is a king of the universe or one is not. Unquestionably, in the latest of these cases, the concrete fact has been proved that the intellectual animal still has not reached the state of Man.

The Sun has deposited the germs into man inside the sexual glands of the intellectual animal. Obviously, those germs can either develop or permanently go to waste.

Page 29: Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9...Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9 Introduction The central point of Gnosis is the saving action of Christ in man

Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9

If we want those germs to develop, it is imperative that we cooperate with the effort that the Sun is making to create Men.

Legitimate Men must work intensively with the evident purpose of eliminating from themselves the undesirable elements that we have within us.

If a Real Man did not eliminate those elements from himself, he would regrettably fail. He would become an abortion of the Cosmic Mother, a failure.

The Man who really works on himself with the purpose of awakening consciousness will be able to merge with the Divine.

Evidently, a Solar Man, when merged with the Divinity, becomes in fact and in his own right a Super-Man. It is not so easy to attain the state of Super-Man. Undoubtedly, the path that leads to the Super-Man is beyond good and evil.

A thing is good when it is good for us and bad when it is bad for us. Amidst the cadences of poetry, crime also hides. There is a great deal of virtue in wicked people and a great deal of wickedness in virtuous people.

The pathway that leads to the Super-Man is the Path of the Razor’s Edge. This path is full of dangers inside and outside.

Evil is dangerous; good is also dangerous. The terrifying path is beyond good and evil; it is terribly cruel.

Any code of morals can hold us up in our progress towards the Super-Man. Attachment to these or those yesterdays, to these or those scenes, can hold us up in the path leading to the Super-Man.

Norms and systems, however wise they may be; if they are cooped up in this or that bigotry, in this or that prejudice, in this or that concept, can hinder us in our advance towards the Super-Man.

The Super-Man knows the good in evil and the evil in good, takes up the sword of Cosmic Justice, and is beyond good and evil.

The Super-Man, having destroyed in himself all the good and bad values, has become something that no one understands. He is the thunderbolt. He is the flame of the Universal Spirit of Life shining on the face of Moses.

Gnostic Esoteric Christology – Level 4 | Unit 9

At every tent on the path, some anchorite offers his gifts to the Super-Man. However, he continues walking beyond the good intentions of anchorites.

What people said beneath the sacred portico of the temples has a great deal of beauty, but the Super-Man is beyond people's pious sayings.

The Super-Man is the thunderbolt, and his word is the thunderclap that disintegrates the powers of good and evil.

The Super-Man shines in the darkness. However, darkness hates the Super-Man.

The multitudes describe the Super-Man as a wicked person because of the very fact that he does not fit in the indisputable dogmas or in the pious sentences or in the sound morals of serious people.

People hate the Super-Man and crucify him among criminals because they do not understand him, because they prejudge him, looking at him through the psychological lens of what is considered holy, although it is evil.

The Super-Man is like a streak of lightning that falls upon the wicked, or like the brightness of something that is not understood and later vanishes into the mystery.

The Super-Man is neither holy nor wicked. He is beyond holiness and wickedness. However, people describe him either as holy or as wicked.

The Super-Man shines for a moment in the darkness of this world and then disappears forever.

The Red Christ, the Revolutionary Christ, the Lord of the Great Rebellion, shines blazingly within the Super-Man.

The Holy GrailThe Holy Grail

The Holy Grail shines in the profound night of all ages. In the times of the Crusades, the Knights of the Middle Ages searched for the Holy Grail in the Holy Land. However, they did not find it.

When Abraham the Prophet returned from the war against the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah, he is said to have met Melchizedek, the Genie of the Earth. Certainly, that Great Being lived in a stronghold exactly situated in the place where Jerusalem, the city beloved of the prophets, was later built.

The legend of the ages has it, and this gods and men know, that Abraham celebrated the Gnostic Unction with the sharing of the bread and the wine in the presence of Melchizedek.

It is not irrelevant to affirm that Abraham then gave Melchizedek the tithes and first fruits, as it is written in the Book of the Law.

Abraham received the Holy Grail from the hands of Melchizedek. Some centuries later this cup ended up in the temple of Jerusalem.

There is no doubt that the Queen of Sheba was the mediator in this event. She appeared before King Solomon with the Holy Grail, and after having subjected him to rigorous trials, she gave him the much prized jewel.

The Great Kabir Jesus drank from that cup in the sacred ceremony of the Last Supper, as it is written in the Four Gospels.

Joseph of Arimathea filled the Chalice with the blood flowing from the wounds of the Adorable One on the Mount of Skulls.

When the Roman police raided the house of this Senator, they did not find this precious jewel. The Roman Senator not only hid this precious jewel, but together with it he also

kept underground the spear of Longinos, with which the Roman centurion wounded the Lord’s side.

Joseph of Arimathea was locked up in a horrible prison cell for having refused to hand over the Holy Grail. When the Senator came out of prison, he left for Rome carrying the Holy Grail with him. When Joseph of Arimathea arrived at Rome, he encountered Nero’s persecution against the Christians, and he then left the city travelling along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

One night, an angel appeared to him in dreams and said to him, ‘This chalice has a great power because in it is contained the blood of the Redeemer of the World.' Joseph of Arimathea, obeying orders from the angel, buried the chalice in a temple situated in Montserrat, Catalonia, Spain. Over time, the chalice became invisible together with the temple and part of the mountain.

The Holy Grail is the Vessel of Hermes, the Cup of Solomon, the precious urn of all the temples of mysteries. Within the Ark of the Covenant was always present the Holy Grail in the form of a cup or gomor, in which some of the manna of the desert was deposited.

The Holy Grail emphatically allegorizes the female Yoni. Inside this Holy Cup is the nectar of immortality, the Soma of the mystics, the supreme drink of the Holy Gods.

The Red Christ drinks from the Holy Grail in the supreme hour of Christification – thus it is written in the Gospel of the Lord.

The Holy Grail is always present on the altar of the temple. Obviously, the Priest must drink the wine of light from the Holy Cup. It would be absurd to imagine a temple of mysteries in which the blessed cup of all ages was not present.

This reminds us of Guinevere, the Queen of the Jinas, the one who poured wine for Lancelot into the delightful cups of Sufra and Manti.

The immortal Gods feed on the drink contained in the Holy Cup. Those who hate the Blessed Cup blaspheme against the Holy Spirit.

The Super-Man must feed on the nectar of immortality contained in the divine chalice of the temple. To transmute the creative energy is fundamental when one wants to drink from the Holy Vessel.

The Red Christ, always revolutionary, always rebellious, always heroic, always triumphant, toasts the Gods by drinking from the golden chalice.

Lift up your cup well and take care not to spill even a single drop of your precious wine. Remember that our motto is Thelema (Will).

From within the bottom of the Chalice—symbolic figure of the female sexual organ—, come out flames that shine on the blazing face of the Super-Man. The ineffable Gods of all galaxies always drink the drink of immortality from the eternal chalice.

Lunar cold produces involutions in time. It is necessary to drink the sacred wine of light from the holy vessel of Alchemy.

The purple of the sacred kings, the royal crown and the flaming gold are only for the Red Christ.

The Lord of the Thunderbolt and the Thunderclap takes up the Holy Grail in his right hand and drinks the golden wine to feed himself.

Those who spill the Vessel of Hermes during the chemical copulation in fact become infrahuman creatures of the Underworld.

Everything that we have written here is fully documented in my book entitled The Perfect Marriage.
