NINETEEN is a number not without significance. It is a combination of 10 and 9, and would denote the perfectionof Divine order connected with judgment. It is the gematria of Eve and of Job.

In this study it of the meaning of Hebrew letters we're directed to 'faith and hearing'

TWENTY is the double of ten, and may in some cases signify its concentrated meaning. But its significanceseems rather to be connected with the fact that it is one short of twenty-one, 21 - 1 = 20; that is to say, if 21 is thethree-fold 7, and signifies Divine (3) completion as regards spiritual perfection (7), then twenty, being one short of21, it would signify what Dr. Milo Mahan calls expectancy, and certainly we are not without illustrations in supportof it:

Twenty years Jacob waited to get possession of his wives and property, Gen 21:38,41.Twenty years Israel waited for a deliverer from Jabin's oppression, Judg 4:3.Twenty years Israel waited for deliverance through Samson, Judg 15:20, 16:31. But his work was nevermuch more than "begun," Judg 13:25.Twenty years the Ark of the Covenant waited at Kirjath-jearim, 1 Sam 7:2.Twenty years Solomon was waiting for the completion of the two houses, 1 Kings 9:10; 2 Chron 8:1.Twenty years Jerusalem waited between its capture and destruction; andTwenty years Jeremiah prophesied concerning it.

Twenty also symbolizes redemption. The Hebrew letter kaph represents the number 20.

Kaph is a palm, an open hand, in Hebrew. It signifies giving freely with the palm up, or covering sin with the palmdown.

There is some disagreement on the meaning of the number 20. [E.W.] Bullinger quotes Dr. Milo Mahan andappears to agree with him that it is the number of expectancy. Ed Vallow says it means Redemption.

Bullinger cites Genesis 31:38, 41 saying that Jacob waited expectantly 20 years to get possession of his wivesand property before being released. However, this could also indicate that it took 20 years for Jacob to beredeemed from bondage.

Bullinger also cites Judges 4:3, showing that Israel waited 20 years to be delivered from Jabin's oppression.However, we could also say that Israel was redeemed from bondage after 20 years.

.... these examples show the negative and positive sides of a number. When viewed as a time cycle—in this case,20 years in length—the time indicates a waiting period and can be viewed as negative. But when seen as THEEND of the 20 years, that is positive, for it is then the time of redemption. We may view virtually all numbers in thisway. When viewed as time cycles, most of these numbers would convey the idea of waiting for the time to beconcluded.

The Israelite men who were numbered in any census had to be 20 years old, and each was redeemed, orransomed by a half-shekel of silver, the metal of redemption (Ex. 30:14). (The number 20 is often linked with silverthroughout the Scriptures.)

Likewise, there were 20 boards on each side (north and south sides) of Moses' tabernacle (Exodus 26:18, 20).Paul says in 1 Cor. 3:16, “Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

Yes, we are God's temple.The Most Holy Place is our spirit; the Holy Place is our soul; and the outer court is ourbody.

Thus, the wall of the tabernacle itself represents the boundary of the soul within the body (outer court). The 20boards, then, speak of the redemption [of] our souls by experiencing the feast of Pentecost. Psalm 34:22 says,“The Lord redeems the soul of His servants.”

The outer court of the tabernacle was surrounded by a wall anchored by 20 pillars (Exodus 27:10). This wall(curtain with pillars) also pictured the “skin” or outer shell of our body. These 20 pillars reveal “ the redemption ofour body” (Rom. 8:23) by experiencing the feast of Tabernacles.

5 Tammuz 3328 - 433 B.C.E.: Yehoyochin, King of Yehudah, was exiled by Nevuchadnetzar (Melachim 2:24, Daniel 1, Divrei Hayamim 2:36).Among those exiled with him were thousands of Jews from Yerushalayim, including " hecharesh vehamasger," theoutstanding talmidei chachamim and leaders of the generation, who "deafened" and "shut the mouths" of anyonetrying to argue with them in Torah. Galut Yehoyochin occurred 7 years after his father Yehoyokim was taken intogalut.

5 Tammuz 3333 - 428 B.C.E.: Ezekiel's vision | Pentecost link

The nevua / prophecy of a vision of Maaseh Merkavah / the Divine "Chariot" representing the spiritualinfrastructure of creation, received by the Navi Ezekiel / Yechezkel ben Buzi Hakohain by the Kvar (Chebar) River,5 years after Galut Yehoyochin, mentioned in the beginning of Sefer Yechezkel. He was the only one of theProphets to prophesy outside of the Holy Land. This perek / chapter is read as the haftorah on Shavuot. Also, aswritten below, his vision resembles that of the events at Pentecost.

Tammuz 5 Judgement foreshadowing Mass killings of Jews in Auschwitz began by the Nazis, 1942.

Ezekiel's vision

From the aftermath of Ezekiel's vision, I conclude this is a final boarding call (he was 30 years, eligible forpriesthood but, as there was great calamity in his days and the temple and altar were absent, he became aprophet...much like the called out watchmen in our days operation outside Laodicean churchianity) and warning ofimpending judgment of the captives he was among (as a foreshadowing to our days, Tel Aviv is currently a centerof postmodern hedonism, lawlessness, and cultivation of sin) and to warn those about to be left behind prior to the

strategic retreat into our 'house'. In these verses the word captive means “going into exile”, or “removed”... it hasdouble meaning prophetically applying to both those leaving and being left/exiled

Ezekiel's vision visualized/excerpts:

Ezekiel 1:22

“And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the livingcreature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth overtheir heads above."

The "likeness" of the firmament upon their heads (of the living creature) was as the color of theterrible crystal. Under the firmament, Ezekiel saw this:

Ezekiel 1:23

“And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one towardthe other: every one hadtwo, which covered on this side, and every onehadtwo, which covered on that side, their bodies."

Under the firmament were wings of the cherubim, straight, one toward the other just as they areover the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant. They each had two on one side and two on theother side of their bodies.

There was a "voice from the firmament that was over their heads", says verse 25, when they hadstood and had let down their wings. Verse twenty six describes what is above the firmament:

Ezekiel 1:26

“And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness ofa throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likenessof the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above uponit."

Above the firmament and the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of a throne and thelikeness of a man above upon it. It is here also that the first mention of the "color" of this "crystal"(terrible crystal?). In every sense the word “likeness of” is used. Remember the “figures of thetrue, which are in heaven” Paul instructed us on in Hebrews 9:24.

The next mention of the firmament by Ezekiel is in chapter ten:

Ezekiel 10:1

“Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head ofthe cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, asthe appearance of the likeness of a throne."

The detail in this chapter describes a man in linen being instructed to go "in between thewheels (the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels –Ezekiel 1:20-21), under the cherub to fillhis hand with the coals of fire from between the cherubs. The "cherubims stood on the right side ofthe house" it says in verse three, when the man went in.

In both these chapters of Ezekiel, the elements of the cherub/cherubim, four wings; two per side ofthe cherubim; the wheels that turned not when they followed the cherubim; the “wheel within awheel”, and the spirit of the living creatures which was in the wheels.

Both chapters mentioning the “firmament” in this way is also mentioned by Ezekiel the river“Chebar”:

Chebar -"The masculine noun כביר (kabir), which denotes an item of unknownqualities, possibly a quilt or net or something like that (see thenoun מכבר, makber, below). This word occurs only in 1 Samuel 19:13 and19:16, where Michal deludes Saul's officers by placing the household idol inDavid's bed, with at its head aכביר (kabir) made of she-goat (and thusprobably goat's hair; the word for goat is עז, 'ez).The feminine noun כברה (kebara), denoting a sieve. This noun is usedonly in Amos 9:9, where grain is sifted.

The masculine noun מכבר (mikbar), which appears to denotea grate or lattice-work that surrounded the greater altar of thetabernacle.

For a meaning of the name Chebar, NOBSE Study Bible Name Listappears to stick to the meaning of tointertwine for our verband translates our name with Joining (apparently taking it to be theEuphrates' tributary)." – Source, Abarim Publications

In the name “Chebar” we find a familiar description: Net – what the disciples were using to catchfish when Jesus says “I will make you fishers of men”. A sieve: God said “I will sift Israel as corn in asieveand not a drop will fall to the earth”. And the “grate” or “lattice-work”: “Ahaziah fell downthrough the lattice in his upper chamber”. Lattice is also associate with “windows” in the “house” or“temple”. And the pillars of the temple of Solomon had chapitars upon them of brass, with nets ofcheckerwork; one which he named “Jachin” and the other he named “Boaz”:

which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and sevenfor the other chapiter."

At the river Chebar, Ezekiel is there among the captives. Do you understand now where Ezekielwas?

The Stones of Fire

In the book of Ezekiel chapter 28, the Lord tells Ezekiel to take up a parable against the King of Tyre(Tyrus in the Greek). In this lamentation, Ezekiel is told that the King of Tyre was in the Gardenwith God, and that he “walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire”.

The Lord also forwards through Ezekiel that the King of Tyre was the “anointed cherub thatcovereth”. He “walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire”.

Back in chapters 1 and 10 of the book of Ezekiel, the cherub was in the “living creature” who’s“spirit was in the wheels”. They moved up and down and did not turn as they went. There weretwo cherubs, each with four wings, two on each side of their bodies. In Ezekiel 10:10 it says “theyfour had one likeness” – in relation to the four wheels, and “as if one wheel had been in the midstof a wheel”.

The wheels went where the cherubim went. They moved up and down but they turned not as theywent. Remember where the spirit of the creatures is found?

Ezekiel1:19-20

"And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: andwhen the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were liftedup.

Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go;and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the livingcreature was in the wheels."

The spirit of the “living creatures” – in the wheels.

“The Spirit is life” – Romans 8:10The Life of the flesh is in the blood” – Leviticus 17:11

What then is the “wheel within the wheel, in which is the spirit of the living creature? Any doubtthat this is within the living?

In Ezekiel; verse 2 of chapter 10, the voice in the firmament tells a man in linen to go in “betweenthe wheels, even under the cherub and fill thy hand with the coals of fire”. Under the cherub,between the wheels is where the “coals of fire” are, from which the man in linen went and came outto scatter the coals of fire on the “city”.

The “coals of fire” are the very “stones” of fire that the “cherub” in Ezekiel 28 named “King of Tyrus”walked up and down in the midst of, as described in the vision of Ezekiel 10. An extra-biblicaldescription of a cherub is this:

The cherubim, a common feature of ancient Near Eastern mythology, arenot to be confused with the round-cheeked darlings of Renaissanceiconography.The root of the terms either means "hybrid" or, by aninversion of consonants, "mount," "steed,"and they are winged beasts,probably of awesome aspect, on which the sky god of the old Canaanitemyths and of the poetry of Psalms goes riding through the air. [RobertAlter, "The Five Books of Moses," 2004, commentary on Gen. iii:24]

In the opening of Ezekiel in chapter one, these cherubs first appeared to him by the river “Chebar”.

Ezekiel 1:13-17

"As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was likeburning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up anddown among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of thefire went forth lightning. And the living creatures ran and returned as theappearance of a flash of lightning.

Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earthby the living creatures, with his four faces. The appearance of the wheelsand their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four hadone likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were awheel in the middle of a wheel.

When they went, they went upon their four sides: andthey turned notwhen they went."

If we were to look at the “book of the law” within us top down, or even bottom-up with the eyesGod gave Ezekiel . . .

.... this “design” is in everything in creation, from the microscopic DNA that is in every thing to thespiral of the solar system and the galaxies.

Ezekiel reveals much about us, and about the temple that has been profaned. It reveals muchabout the sanctuary of God. DNA resembles something else:

The “living creatures” and the “cherubs” in Ezekiel’s opening vision: From where did they come?

"And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a greatcloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and outof the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

But we see no fire within our DNA, do we? Thinking upon this and wondering if God saw mythoughts, this verse was opened to me:

Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of thingsnot seen."

Romans 1:18-21

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness andunrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Becausethat which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed itunto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world areclearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even hiseternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

The word “invisible” only appears five times in the Bible, including the verse above in the book ofRomans. Three more of those verses are in direct relation to God:

Colossians 1:15

"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:"

1 Timothy 1:17

"Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, behonour and glory for ever and ever. Amen."

Hebrews 11:27

"By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured,as seeing him who is invisible."

God is invisible. Spirit is invisible. .....

Since Paul taught us in the letter to the Hebrews that Moses was to make the tabernacle and allthings within it according to the pattern God showed him on the mount in Hebrews 8:5.

Paul further taught us that the patterns of the things in the heavens should be purified, but that theheavenly things purified with better sacrifices than those.

Hebrews 9:22-25

"And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and withoutshedding of blood is no remission. It wastherefore necessary that thepatterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but theheavenly things themselves with better sacrificesthan these.

For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, whichare the figures of the true; butinto heaven itself, now to appear in thepresence of God for us:"

Christ died once to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself; and Christ was offered once to bear thesins of man. Then to those who look for him shall he appear the second time without sin untosalvation.

Hebrews 9:25-28

"Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth intothe holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he oftenhave suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in theend of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice ofhimself.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this thejudgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; andunto them that look for him shall he appear the second time withoutsinunto salvation."

We are figures of the true. We are made in the “image of God”:

Genesis 1:26

"And God said, Let us make man in our image,after our likeness: andlet them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing thatcreepeth upon the earth."

Genesis 1:27

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created hehim; male and female created he them."

Genesis 9:6

"Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in theimage of God made he man. "

We are made in the image of God. Not of flesh, because each of us has a difference in hair, in eyecolor, skin and tone, likeness and shape. But as the four creatures with the four faces had onelikeness, so do we in the image of God and the kingdom within us.

The Firmament and the Veil

In Ezekiel 1:22, the “likeness of the firmament” that is stretched out above the heads of thecreatures was as the color of the “terrible crystal”. Under it were the wings of the cherubimstretched out toward one another in verse twenty three.

A voice came out of the firmament in verse twenty five; and in verse twenty six above thefirmament was the likeness of a throne. This throne was as the appearance of a sapphire stone (acrystal?). Upon the “likeness of the throne” was the “likeness as the appearance of a man aboveupon it”.

This would explain the “blue” of the sky, since nothing else does. This He also created. Thepatterns of the things shown to Moses on the mount were the likeness of the things made on earth.

This is the “likeness” of the living creatures.

The word “firmament” appears fifteen times in the King James Bible; five of those times in Ezekielalone.

In the beginning, in Genesis it appears seven times. However, this is not the likeness of thefirmament, but the description of the creation of the firmament itself.

The firmament divides the waters from the waters – Genesis 1:6

God made the firmament and divided the waters under the firmament from the waters above thefirmament – Genesis 1:7.

God called the firmament “heaven” – Genesis 1:8.

God spoke into existence “lights” in the firmament of heaven. They would divide day from night;be for signs and seasons, days and years – Genesis 1:14.

The lights in the firmament were to give light on the earth. God “set them in the firmament”– Genesis 1:15 - 17.

God said to let the waters bring forth the moving creature that hath life, and the birds the fly in theopen firmament of the heaven – Genesis 1:20.

David describes the firmament that shows God’s “handiwork” and the “firmament of His power” inhis Psalms. Daniel is told that “they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament”and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

There are “windows” in the firmament as we learn in Genesis 7:11 that the fountains of the deepwere broken up and the windows of heaven were opened; and that not only water can fall fromthem , but blessings according to Malachi 3:10.

In heaven, the firmament separates the waters from the waters. It is the heaven above whichGod’s throne sits.

In the living creatures, it is the “likeness” of the things in heaven. It is the place above the headsof the living creatures; and above the wings of the cherubim that are stretched out toward oneanother.

What is the “firmament” within us?

Paul knew a man caught up to the third heaven in 1 Corinthians 12:2. He did not know whether hewas in the body or out of the body, only God knew.

Paul also told us about the “second veil” in Hebrews 9:2-5. He described the first tabernacle thatwas made (after the pattern of the things shown to Moses on the mount) which was called the“sanctuary” with the candlestick, the table and the shewbread.

Paul then told us “after the second veil” is “the tabernacle which is called the holiest of all”.

We were made in his image. It is this image which angers the evil one. It is the children of iniquitythat have labored to “make a name” for themselves in the book of the law, in place of the Name ofThe Lord.

The “image” in which we were made was not of the flesh but of something deeper. It was whyJesus had to come in the flesh, to save us from the curse of it. It is not the letters that make upthe law but the Spirit within it. It goes back to God who gave it when the flesh returns to dust.

That “image” is protected by a code written within us that they can not break. But they have tried. They are going to get closer to success then they have ever been.
