My hearts desire is always to hon-our God because of his great mercy towards me. I know in that I some-times fall short but I am so grateful that even then I can put all my trust in His Word and that He remains faithful even when I am unfaithful. I

remember being in church after my husband left me and the reality of Jesus words “I will never leave you” took on a new meaning, knowing that He would remain meant so much..

the work of jesusThe wonderful thing is to know that

my salvation is completely based on the work that Jesus did; that gives me cause for my heart to rise and bless him! What a comfort to know that Jesus came and lived in the flesh and that He understands our every joy and sorrow. He is our worthy High Priest ever interceding for us; we’re always hidden in Him in a secure and safe place. How can we not love Him, He who is our righteousness?

spur one another onLet us spur one another on to walk

with Jesus every day, keeping our eyes fixed on Him, demonstrating our great love for Him, in our actions and words.

My friend (who has gone to glory) and I had a saying when situations arise that were difficult, “in the light of eternity where does this one come?”

an eternal viewpointSeeing things from an eternal

viewpoint helps me to continu-ally seek His Kingdom first and put-ting my trust in Him who through it all holds all my days in His hand.

We are all on the journey of life, one day we may be the one that falls short, and another day we might have the joy of being the one God uses to encourage others.

We all need one another because God has joined us into one body in Christ; our life as Christians is ulti-mately that we bring Glory and Hon-our to our gracious Heavenly Father.

God is Love and He has cre-ated us to share His love with all around us day by day.

aCCra orphanaGeHere’s an update for you on how George and Patience are getting on at college. They are

both at Agogo State college, which is about 250km or 4 hours distance from the orphanage.

George is 17 and has been at the orphanage for 9 years. He wants to work in animation and graphic design and will be focussing on this in his final year of college which starts in September.

Patience is 16 and has been at the orphanage 8 years. She is studying home economics and when she leaves college she wants to work as a nutritionist or in catering.

Pa t i e n c e h a s s e t t l e d i n v e r y w e l l b u t G e o r g e i s f i n d i n g i t d i f f i c u l t a s due to hea l t h i s s ue s he need s a spec i a l d i e t .

The orphanage has had to pay their term fees of £400 each and on top of this has to supply them with their books and equipment, which depends on the course can be costly.

When they f inish college they may go on to fur ther education either at university or a vocational college, the orphanage will have to pay for this as well. James has lined up some work for them both this summer af ter college has f inished, George as a mechanic and Patience in hair dressing. This is just to get them used to working.

The rest of the children are at the church school although Gifty and Albert will be going to college this coming September.

your Continued supportWe are grateful for the support you give the orphanage. The

children have a much better chance in life benefiting from a much better education as a result of being at the orphanage. There opportunities in life will be massively better as a result of this. Your continued support is vital to giving all the children this good start..

The needs of the orphanage are to continue to feed, clothe and educate the children. As more children go onto fur ther education the cost of this will increase.

the ChurCh sChool For the church school there is a need for more chairs and

tables, text books and swings for the little children. Dona-tions are the best way of providing these, if

you want to contribute towards the text books Theresa would like to use Jolly Phonics ap-

proach to teaching literacy, let us know so that we can get the whole series and supporting books for

the teachers which costs £260the ChurCh BuildinG

For the church building we are on the final stage, with just the tiling to complete on the balcony and the top floor of the school, painting the outside and the costs of all the licences and fees needed from the Accra municipality to get final approval of the building.

Any support to each of these areas (orphanage, school, church) will be much appreciated. If you would like your donation to be given for a specific purpose please make this clear when you donate.

We so often hear about vision, that the journey can be life long. When Joseph was given the dream of his brothers bowing down to him. It was a long time before this was fulfilled. In the process of time God dealt with many things. Including Joseph.

spiritual GrowthI believe personal spiritual growth

is a life long commitment. When we grow spiritually we influence the world outwardly, this is the most exciting journey of the Christian life. Many consider church growth with trying to fill seats, however we must take responsibility and want to grow to maturity. As you grow in your personal relationship with Jesus you will begin to discover the extension of the Kingdom of God affects every sphere of your life. We grow in love with him, its love

that produces the positioning of our life so we can begin to enter the greater purposes and calling of God.

our desire is of himAs new born babes, desire the

sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: - 1Peter 2:2

Desire therefore is the seed for growth. Let me ask you a question, do you desire him and his word? does your heart yearning for it? What has

God put in your heart? These ques-tions are so important. We want to see people established in Je-sus to have a real relationship with him, to know that their life is in him.

God is positioninG usIt’s exciting to see people find their

place, ultimately God brings about the positioning. Just like Joseph we see that the process is just as im-portant as the destination. The gifts however are sign-posts that indicate and direct us to a far greater purpose, they act if you like, as clues that unfold God’s greater plan. Just like Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams. Gen 41:14

Within smaller (home) groups at Noak Bridge we have great oppor-tunity for gifts and callings to be re-alized, this can effectively become operational within smaller groups. Leaders can be nurtured, equipped and gifting can be exercised in a less intimidating environment. This be-comes a safe outlet and through lov-ing relationships, bonding and family we create a fertile ground for spiritual development that brings forth vision.

Gods plans are past searching out, He chooses flawed material and pro-duces a vessel sanctified for His use only. He plans for a new more God pleas-ing revelation of Himself and a closer more intimate relationship with man by taking a barren woman to produce a New Christ like Kingdom on earth.

God used Moses to show His Holi-ness through the law and religious cer-emony fully knowing it couldn’t change the heart of man. It was just “The foun-dation”, of His plan to create a Spiritual Kingdom on earth in the hearts of men.

a new kinGdom We start to read in the books of Sam-

uel, His Royal Plan for something more perfect and more empowered for a New Kingdom on earth. Let’s start in Samuel 1.

A barren woman named Hannah a woman tried sorely by her vulnerability and the hopelessness of her situation. Hannah prays in Moses tabernacle at Shiloh for a child promising him to God to be a priest in the temple at Shiloh.

Eli the priest prophetically confirms her prayer is heard and the child Samuel is miraculously born. Hannah honours her pledge to God and Samuel becomes a child priest in the Temple compound at Shiloh.

God starts to speak to Samuel aged about 8 years old and he hears and becomes obedient to Gods words and grows into God’s Man.

Eli hears the prophesy of the down-fall of the lineage of the succession from Aaron and that God is rising up a new priestly kingdom. 1 Sam 2:35,”And I will raise me up a faithful priest that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever”.

Hophni and Phinehas Eli’s sons thought they could force Gods hand in the battle with the Philistines by putting the Ark of

the Covenant in the midst of their battle with the Philistines. The Ark is captured and it with Gods presence is separated for ever from the Tabernacle of Moses.

the people ask for a kinG

The people ask for a king and King Saul is Samuel’s and the people’s choice, some-one who had all the looks and charisma of a kingship but no real relationship with God. He was anointed and empowered by God, but his heart wasn’t yielded to God so he failed and was rejected by God

God sends Samuel to Jesse’s house in secret with an excuse to sacrifice. The family were all there but didn’t es-teem David enough for him to be there. Samuel asks have you another son and they send for David not of significance to his family but the chosen one of God. Samuel anoints David in secret. Da-vid is God’s choice to be the one to have a heart relationship with God the man the prophet had spoken of to Eli.

In due course David comes of age at about 16 years old he slays Goliath with a stone. David has to find out what sort of king God wants and is hounded, per-secuted and excluded and hunted to be killed by Saul for 4 years, goes into exile at Ziglag among the Philistines for anoth-er 4 years. Religion always hounds Gods chosen as they did with Jesus.

david BeComes kinGDavid finally becomes King of Israel

David is moved in His heart to prepare a tent Tabernacle on the mount of Je-rusalem Gods New Kingdom’s City and to bring the Ark of the Covenant into it.

Uzzah touches the Ark and dies and David learns that God can only be ap-proached with a consecrated heart not a new cart and a lot of enthusi-asm. Also that the new revelation still requires the old order of holiness con-secration and Godly reverence that Moses instituted in the wilderness.

david’s taBernaCle dediCated

David’s new tabernacle dedicated 1 Chron 16:1 with a blood sacrifices of a burnt offering and a peace offering as an act of covenant with God. This dedication goes further with David blessing the peo-ple both with gifts of food and by a spiritual sacrifice of the Joyful singing of Psalm 105.

God was signifying that the way for-

ward would be not one of constant sac-rifice but by the once and for all blood sacrifice of Christ.

the fruit of our lipsA new form of sacrifice David insti-

tuted at Jerusalem was to be a constant thanksgiving of praise and worship. Isa-iah 1:11 states clearly, “I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats”. Heb 3:15 that, “true sacrifice is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name”. No further blood sacrifices were offered at David’s Jerusalem tabernacle. Zadok the priest still offered the morning and evening sacrifice at Gibeon where Mo-ses Tabernacle was after Shiloh was de-stroyed, but there was nowhere to of-fer the yearly sin sacrifice as the Ark of the Covenant and Mercy seat never re-turned to the Holy of Holies in Gibeon.

This all signifies the Spiritual Kingdom at the coming of Jesus, His once and for all sacrifice on Calvary. A new or-der sanctified by the giving of the Holy Spirt on the day of Pentecost and the privilege of bringing our daily sacrifice; manifest praise and worship to God from a heart full of His love. Let’s fully take the opportunity He has given us to praise and worship Him always in the temple which He has placed within us.

davids seCretDavid’s secret was a heart attuned to

God’s presence. His first thought after being crowned 1 Chron 12:38-13:1 was to consult his captains and the people to bring back the Ark and place it to-gether with them on mount Moriah in Jerusalem. He did it finally with Joy, danc-ing, shouting clapping and singing. His wife looked on and despised him David said 2 Sam 6:21-22 “Therefore I will play music before the Lord...And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight”. What is needed in God’s Church today is the people once again to join together to bring back the manifest presence of God to the centre of everything. David was the greatest King of Israel because he put God in the foreground he made complete plans and financial provision within his life time for Solomon to build a permanent Temple and City in Jerusalem,

jesus teaChes us to prayJesus teaches us to pray. Prayer is

fellowship with the Father. Through prayer we get to know our Fa-ther. Daniel a man of prayer and of an excellent spirit said that in the last days Dan 11:32, “they that know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits”.

Paul’s prayer Phil 3:10 say “that I may know Him, that I may pro-gressively become more deep-ly and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and rec-ognizing and understanding the wonders of His person, more strongly and more clearly”.

I often think of the song- ‘To know Him, to know Him is the cry of my heart, Spirit reveal Him to me’.prayinG the word of GodPraying the word of God full of

the Holy Spirit will bring us into a new dimension, a new place in the Heavenlies, a place of rest, a place of peace, a place of joy and full release.

The Holy Spirit energis-es our prayer and breathes the very breath of God into it.

Rom 8 says, “we know not what to

pray for as we ought but the Spirit makes intercession through us”.

We can build ourselves up in the most Holy faith praying in the Holy Ghost. Then we will know how to pray “Let thy kingdom come, let thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

a new and livinG wayJesus has opened to us a new and

living way so in the light of what He has done, let us come boldly to the throne of grace, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith for He is faithful that prom-ised. We enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus. Henri and Con-nie would always exhort us “enter in my brother enter in my sister”.

an open heartTo every true heart, God is still

speaking. Hannah had a great need in her life. She pursued God, she petitioned the Lord for a Son, she found Him to be a re-warder of those who diligently seek Him. Her son Samuel heard the voice of God, His heart was open.

Eli the Priest was dull of hearing, Eli’s heart was closed. The lamp of God burned low in Shiloh, there was

no open vision but Hannah’s pur-suit of God for a son brought in a new priesthood, it brought change.

kinG david saysIn 1Chron 22:5 David says,“The

house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceed-ingly magnifical,” a place to house the very Glory of God.

22:19, “Set your heart, pur-pose your heart and your soul to seek the Lord, arise and build the sanctuary”.

1Peter 2:5 says,”let us realise we are living stones that God is building into a spiritual temple”.

Praise God, everyone. I have been so conscious of the encouragement to the Hebrews in chapter 10; it’s just so rich!

“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; and having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.”

preCious times toGetherOur meeting together is so precious, as it clearly says in

this scripture that it is as important as holding onto the faith itself. We have been so blessed in recent times with so many opportunities to come together in love as we look for more of his power in our lives. The Peterborough convention in 2016 was a real deluge! I would encourage you to watch the broadcasts on Vimeo. All of our meetings are now shared online and this is just one of many recent developments that we are putting in place to make our meetings (and what a blessing they are) more accessible to as many as people who are drawn. We continue to reach the world with this wonderful anointing! All of us have a part to play in this ministry - it’s a body ministry, with no one in charge save The Holy Spirit.

We also hope that, from next year, we move to a scenario where we can stream certain meetings live, so those who are unable to attend for whatever reason can be blessed as our gatherings unfold! We will always reach people where they are at and we don’t believe in leaving anyone behind - that’s why we are announcing now that the way we outreach is adapting with the times.

ContaCtinG us By soCial mediaIn light of going more online with what we do, it is

important for us to realise that we are in a transitional phase in terms of how we keep in touch with folk. The ‘little and often’ approach is increasingly popular as more and more of us become accustomed to social media. In future years, as more people support Alan and Shirley with the administration of the ministry, we will continue to produce the annual Glory News but we will be doing it in future so it is geared to online publication. We know a lot of you enjoy this publication and want everyone to continue to be blessed by it. Those who would appreciate a paper copy of future editions of this magazine (i.e. from 2018 onwards) should get in touch to ensure that they remain on the mailing list - with it being so easy to reach so many at the touch of a button, coupled with rising postage costs, its important that we use the precious resource that God has given us wisely.

The Glory Way is placing itself for the future, in the same way that Henri encouraged all his early folk to invest in tape recorders long before they became mainstream and those who have an ear will realise that we must seize every opportunity to celebrate Him.

join us as we travel this yearWe are so blessed that we are experiencing an

ever increasing demonstration of His presence in the meetings. If you have never been to one of our meetings, I would invite you to come along and get yourself booked in - you’ll never be the same again!

As we come together in 2017, it is more vital than ever that we hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering - as I write this at the start of this year, and all the uncertainty surrounding it, it’s fair to say that these are the days when we need to ‘look up, for our redemption draws nigh!’ Please continue to pray for our country and our leaders that they may exercise Christ-like justice and for righteousness to prevail. Finally, the scripture talks about ‘provoke people into love and good works’ - keep provoking others with the light of God that showed us the knowledge of God’s Glory, displayed in the face of Christ.

Recently the Lord has been lovingly guiding me to lean upon Him more in my daily life. The scope and complexity of my job have increased dramatically over the past few months plunging me into a mini crisis of confidence and to do some serious soul searching … but for God! (Psalm 124 1-8).

trust in the lordIn the midst of my turmoil these verses kept coming

to me- Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths”. So well-known to us all I’m sure but it was the phrase “lean not on your own understanding” that struck me. I’d always thought of this verse as saying If you have understanding don’t lean on it but now I was seeing it from the perspective of whether you have or have not understanding, don’t lean there, it’s irrelevant, trust God.

Believe what God saysIf only we would believe God and everything He says

He is and will do, we would save ourselves a lot of heart ache and worry. Faith is believing God, and not enough of us do it. The Children of Israel didn’t have the tools or ability to knock down the walls of Jericho, they had been wandering about in the wilderness, but they had faith in God and the walls fell and a mighty victory followed.

Trust Him with your life and all that consists of. It’s His anyway. We cost Him dearly and He values us more precious that we can comprehend. He will direct your path, not your boss, your organisation, not world lead-ers and more importantly not you either. We are His responsibility and He hasn’t brought you this far to leave you. He has a plan and a purpose for all of us. He has the government on His shoulders after all!

feed BaCk from our fatherThen a week or so ago I was out for dinner with some

colleagues and my manager told me out of the blue, that I was highly thought of by our Managing Director (and in His

words not mine), “not because of your ability to do your job, but because you are straight, honest and she trusts you!” That was a loving message from my heavenly Father that He wanted me to grasp this lesson. He’s in charge and His strength is made perfect in my weakness. All Glory to God! It also quickened me that the Righteousness of God, wow The Almighty, The creator of heaven and earth, might be visible in us. What a gift and how that defies our understanding that the very nature of God Himself is in us.

we are new CreationsWe are new creations, the children of God, but even

then it “doth not yet appear what we shall be but when we see Him we shall be like Him”. The ugliness of the carnal nature will fully and finally be eradicated from our lives on that day but until then the more we behold Him, the more we are changed into His image, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Cor 3:18).

The Lord wants to do exploits in us, just as He sent the 70 disciples out into the cities, taking no earthly goods or talents with them, they were to bring the King-dom of God near. He also sends us out too to minis-ter His Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). Nothing of our own nature or talent will meet people’s spiritual needs. God calls us to let ‘our lights’ (His light) shine through us because searching souls in the world need to see Him and He is glorified by it.

let your liGht shineThe verse in Matt 5:15 says, that when we let our light’s

shine it brings light to ‘all that are in the house’. We will probably never know all the lives that are impacted by our presence in the house, reflecting His light, and some might be the least we expect, but the Lord knows the condition of every heart and is stirring those that might be saved. What a treasure we have in these earthen vessels and also a responsibility. I pray the reality of all God is, becomes so real to us that we say as Jeremiah said “O Lord you have induced me and I am persuaded… and Your Word is in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones” and that we live out and proclaim it because we can’t help it.
