Pneumatic actuatorsEcon - Ari Stevi® pneumatically actuated globe valves are supplied including Econ® - Ari DP® pneumatic actuators.Comprehensive information about these actuators can be found in the control valves section.

Globe valve disc formsThe shape of the disc in the Econ - Ari Stevi® globe valve is flat. This flat disc is available in two different versions:- Standard disc, metal to metal sealing- Disc with PTFE disc ring, metal/PTFE sealing

Stem sealsThe Econ - Ari Stevi® globe valves may be ordered with four different stem seals. These can be arranged in the followingorder, with increasing degree of sealing and temperature resistance:

• PTFE V-rings -10 °C to 220 °C• PTFE gland packing -10 °C to 250 °C• Graphite gland packing -10 °C to 450 °C• SS bellows seal with gland packing -60 °C to 450 °C

PTFE V-rings are adequate for the majority of applications, while an SS bellows seal is primarily used where the medium isvolatile or of low viscosity (e.g. heat transfer oil).A SS bellows seal also has advantages in respect of the required service-interval for the regulating disc. Note that the SSbellows seal takes up more room compared to the other stem seals.

Globe valve disc formsThe shape of the disc in the Econ - Ari Stevi® globe valve is flat. This flat disc is available in two different versions:- Standard disc, metal to metal sealing- Disc with PTFE disc ring, metal/PTFE sealing

Stem sealsThe Econ - Ari Stevi® globe valves may be ordered with four different stem seals. These can be arranged in the followingorder, with increasing degree of sealing and temperature resistance:

• PTFE V-rings -10 °C to 220 °C• PTFE gland packing -10 °C to 250 °C• Graphite gland packing -10 °C to 450 °C• SS bellows seal with gland packing -60 °C to 450 °C

PTFE V-rings are adequate for the majority of applications, while an SS bellows seal is primarily used where the medium isvolatile or of low viscosity (e.g. heat transfer oil).A SS bellows seal also has advantages in respect of the required service-interval for the regulating disc. Note that the SSbellows seal takes up more room compared to the other stem seals.

Pressure-temperature valuesMax. operating pressure and temperature as per DIN EN 1092-1 / -2.Note possible limitations due to applicable standards.
