With US$7.4bn in annual revenues and 155,000+ employees, Infosys is a leader in people development and has one of the largest corporate universities in the world. It is one of the first few organizations in the country with a dedicated diversity team that works towards improving workplace growth opportunities for women. A large number of engineers at Infosys approach management roles each year, and Infosys wanted a program that would better prepare their best women employees for new challenges at work. They had women engineers distributed across the globe, and wanted a program that could bring them on a common platform and train them in a single cohort.

FACULTY PROFILES

Responsible for teaching courses in Organisational Behaviour across various programmes offered by GlobalNxt University, Dr Gray has more than 15 years experience in lecturing classes, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. Her research interests focus on the dynamics between industrial relations, competitive performance and the introduction of new technologies into the workplace.

Dr Karin Iris Sixl-Daniell is the Programme Co-Director for the Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses. Before her appointment at GlobalNxt University, Dr Sixl-Daniell was Assistant Professor and Deputy Head at the Institute of International Management, University of Graz, Austria. Dr Sixl-Daniell is a member of the Advisory Panel to the Citigroup-INSEAD Financial Education for Women initiative (FinEdx) and has co-authored ‘Wealth Wisdom for Everyone’, an easy-to-use guide to personal financial planning and wealth creation, adapted into a 26-episode TV series on Channel NewsAsia.

Dr Lange teaches the banking, finance, and management courses offered by GlobalNxt University. She held the position of Dean, Business Management Programmes and Director, U21 Liaison at GlobalNxt University. Dr Lange's career spans professional and academic roles in the banking and finance industry. A published author, her consulting activities cover many aspects of finance and centre on investment banking and compliance and governance issues.

Dr Connell is a consulting professional with a strategy, marketing and research background in technology and consumer packaged goods. Prior to joining GlobalNxt University, Carol Connell taught Strategic Management in the Aviation MBA programme at Danau-Universitat, Austria, and International Business in the Pharmaceutical MBA programme at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, US. Dr Connell earned her PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Glasgow and her MBA from Columbia University Business School.

Dr Evelyn Gullett is Assistant Dean, Pedagogy at GlobalNxt University. Dr Gullett has 23 years of international work experience in HRM, account management, sales and marketing, research analysis, strategic planning, project management and consulting. Her research interests include eLearning, organisational behaviour, work relationships, leadership application, coaching, cultural diversity, training and development as well as qualitative research. Dr Gullett was honored with the Faculty Excellence Award in the category “Excellence in Online Teaching” in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Dr Amy Wong is responsible for the management of faculty affairs at GlobalNxt University. Prior to joining GlobalNxt University, Dr Wong taught at the Department of Marketing and International Business, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. Her research interests include relationship marketing, services marketing and consumer behaviour. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Association of Consumer Research.
