› Her “other” discipline is psychology! She works with perceptions and judgments in the product design process.

› She has been an inventor since childhood and has appeared on NBC’s “Today Show” to demonstrate one of her early patents—for a “Double Dutch” jump rope!

› That same invention led to a national grant—and there’s more to come.
